Anyone know of a way to view a logcat after a reboot? I believe an app is causing random reboots. It vibrates like it is a force close but I have no way to tell because the logcat is erased after the reboot. Also does anyone know exactly what I would be looking for?

Since flashing Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 Update V06, every time I open a contact I get an infinite view force close. Does anyone know how to solve this?
Ive also had the same problems but i just reflashed the rom and updates and it was gone. You could give it a shot but there might be side effects.
After doing so, at random, i get multiple force close for settings, contacts, messaging and almost everything thats running. And the only way to solve it was a reboot. I dont mind reboots since its quick so i dont think i'll reflash my rom for a third time..wolfbreaks rom is the 1st i used without having major probs so i dont mind the fc's.

Not sure I want to end up with having random force closes from multiple applications, but it is really annoying not being able to look at contacts.

I had the same problem, and I reflash and did no installl the timescape and everything goes perfect.

Then why not try reflashing the update or just the rom 1st? And slowly make your way up? More time consuming but its safe.

I've fixed the issue on my phone now as I removed the event stream engine app which didn't uninstall when I removed Timescape. Anyone else having this issue should make sure they remove the event stream engine.

New update is up : v 6.0.1. This should fix your problem.

(Question) What causes the need to fix permissions everytime I want to flash something? Everytime I go to fix permissions, it seems to take longer and longer to fix also (approx. 30-45 seconds). Also, it seems like this is always the fix in order to have successful flashing of themes/fonts/mods. Is there a resolution to this?

Did you see my answer to this exact same question over at Android Central? You can't get a better explanation than that.

No sir, I did not see that. Thank you for answering it twice for me!!
Anyways...Well I understand this. I am just confused as to why I continuously have 152 errors whenever i fix permissions. Doesn't seem to "fix" anything, unless i am doing something wrong. I've fixed via TE and CWM. Help is much appreciated.

Does anyone have an answer for this? This is frustrating me (the fxpms issue)
Anyone else get this error on reboot?
I get it occasionally, the device reboots 2/3 times with this error, then boots normally.
Now I am rooted, but this happened even before rooting.
Can a new rom/kernel flash fix this?
Thanks guys!

My settings keep force closing on me whenever I try to click on something to get more information. For example when I went to motion and clicked the smart alert button to learn more it would freeze and then force close on me every time. Is anybody else experiencing this? I'm on stock rooted rom.
(Also the xda premium app force closes a lot too.. Just a side note.)

Did you freeze or uninstall any system apps? That could be it

boot into recovery and clear cache and dalvik cache and that should fix it. Also, what rooted rom are you running?
I pretty much on stock rooted rom, it's actually Whitehawks debated stock rom. And all I did was flash that rom and use Robinsons aroma debloater full debloat. That was a long time back and then I just installed my regular market apps. The setting things I just noticed a couple days back. I didn't go into settings much. Gapps also frequently force closes too, I don't know what's causing it.
The xda force close is because I think something is wrong with the app. I saw reviews on play saying the same thing.
But yeah I didn't mess with freezing or un installing with tit bacmup.
I'll try and do the dalvik wipe and see what happens.

Tried doing the dalvik and cache wipe problem persists. The settings just force close when I learn more about smart alert and like try it and others like it, also on phone status. It just bugs me.
I really don't want to wipe and install again

when i text someone, there response is above the messige i sent them. How do i fix this?
Are you using the pre-installed messaging app?
What version android are you on? I've never seen that before.
Also you might want to change your posted photo because it's showing someone's phone number.
Is your phone clock correct? If yours is a few minutes slow you will be under someone with correct network time.
Also you might want to block out your contacts number in the picture. I doubt they want random phone calls

I have the same error also. I ended up reflashing my rom. If you find a fix, let me know.
