OK so android is reporting 20% battery left however when I set battery monitor to give me voltage based values it says I have closer to 40% battery left. Which can I trust? If the battery monitor is correct, how can I get android to report values close to that?

Well with most batery programs they take a little while to be calibrated to give you accurate readings.

I just recently bought an extended battery for my fassy. As some of us know erasing battery stats in cwm "helps battery life". In reality its showing more accurate battery stats so that it doesnt drop several percent rapidly to compensate. My question is: does it really work like that and will switching between the stock 1500mah and extended battery 2400mah distort the battery reading? Or cause any other problems for that matter....m

I have the naztech 2400 battery. I have wiped my stats after a full charge. Doesn't seen to hurt anything. Mine. Appears to report correctly.

hello, I would like to know if there is any difference in the charging method
Search for battery calibration there are many apps for it.
thank you so much

I cleared my battery stats and fully charged and used my device normally until it ran out. Did this a few times and noticed the 1st time it took a long time to go from 4% down to nothing.
After that it's been good.

I don't know if its just me but I'm on the rom honeycream and I've been on it for a week or two and I cannot charge to 100% no matter what. i tried to recalibrate battery but it wont let me unless i force it at a % less than 100. it gets to 96 and stops no matter what i do and i just wanted to know if i can fix this...

Dunno if it applies to you but There's a battery life extender mod that sets Max battery to a lower value. Only reason I say it because 96 is the rec value to help battery.
If you don't need that last 4% might as well leave it if good for battery .

Hey got a idea, hope it helps some app developers..
As u guys know Li battery will eventually get low backup due to chargings extensively(like whole night chargings). Many people forget to unplug their chargers even battery filled to 100% due some workloads or whatever..
SO HOW ABOUT CREATING A APP WHICH REMIND BY ALARMIMG AFTER GETTING 100% CHARGING
or
A TIMER WHICH AUTOMATICALLY STARTS WHEN CHARHGER PLUGGED AND ALARMS AFTER SOMETIME(say 1Hour)
Check out big text battery notification

Better make an app that can disable/cut charging after specified percentage of battery charge and started charging again when battery drop to specified threshold.. That would be awesome!!

Don't devices cut it off when it gets to 100% anyway?
Yeah that is how they work most of the time.

Hey guys
My phone's battery just increased 1% after i took it out of charging and used it for couple of minutes.
It was 93% when i took it out of charging and used it for like 3-5mins.. instead of dropping it increased to 94% LOL
See the screenshot taken of battery monitor widget..
The green indicator on the left mentions charging while yellow is for usage discharging.. you can see the battery increase LOL
