Sometimes when i reset my imate (manually or automatically with sprite backup) i have to do the reset 2 o 3 times because the device doesnt start (it keeps showing the presentation screen, i mean, "not for sale, etc, etc")
Any idea? thanks

I really think that is the problem. I am doing trial and error on all my applications. Installing each one at a time and testing the reset. So far it seems that the culprit is pocket plus.

Uninstall
Try and uninstall pocket plus and check if the problem still persists. I think the reset problem is brought about by pocket plus.

PocketPlus is not a problem because I don't have it on my Imate and I have only two items at my startup folder both of them are to be working Ok.
Looking through the registry at HKLM\Init and Software\Services didn't show anything (tried to remove httpd, BTBAG (bt-voice-dial-engine and etc)...
What I'm gonna try next is to remove some today items especially that stupid "tmail*.dll" which stoped my imate many times If someone does this now, I'd appreciate for his feedback
BTW, how to disable feature of profile disappearing when BT is disabled?

I cam across the same issue regarding reset time. I finally nailed it down to a theme I was using, I changed toi a default theme for a test and it fired back up in no time flat. Not sure if you are using a personalized theme.

I'm using my 1.72 extended rom + 2 OEM cabs: oem_ch*.cab & ver*.cab

Mine works fine after uninstalling MMS 2.0 and installing usual MMS 1.6(1.72Rom) and deleting "Messaging" from today items
The problem of "delays with blue lights" could be probably caused by WMSE incompatible radio stack (1.18) provided by mamaich
So far so good, no lockups on soft-resets but still there is a delay with blue lights... :-(((

After uninstalled the scarybear "Check Notification", I never encounter this problem again
My wife's Eris has a strange Facebook issue. I factory-reset the Eris for her because it was acting strangely and was very slow. I then reloaded her software and things seemed to work better - except for Facebook. (I loaded the latest version onto her Eris).
The problem seems to be syncing her status comments/updates to her friends news feeds/pages. She will post something from her phone, and it will show up on HER news page, but not on any one of her friends. But if she does the exact same thing from her main computer (web Facebook) it posts fine. So it seems to only be occurring when it is sent from her phone. I uninstalled the new version and reverted back to the old Facebook version that came with with the Eris (the latest OTA ROM version issued to the Eris) and lo and behold that version posted her status updates fine to both her new pages and her friends. So I have to believe it is something with the latest Facebook version and her Eris; or is because something is not set right on the Eris. The latest Facebook app runs fine on my Incredible...
Any ideas on this? Needless to say my wife is frustrated; and she can't get a new phone till October.

Hi all!
I flashed to Evil Fascination after using the Debinged/Deodexed ED01 ROM for a while and I've encountered a bug I haven't seen reported anywhere else (I tracked down the other problem I was having just fine.).
The default gallery app displays "Ecuador - Colombia" as the location subtitle to my Camera folder. For my images with GPS information, the EXIF data points to exactly where I took the picture (confirmed using irfanView's EXIF plugin, GeoHack, and Google Maps). Images without GPS information correctly display "location unknown."
The app seems unable to read the latitude and longitude stored in the image's tags, or at least if refuses to display this information when I tap "details," instead saying that these values are unknown. It does display false locations from the details screen: "Sucumbíos Province, Sucumbíos Province" for photos taken in Washington DC, Virginia, and North Carolina, and "Puerto Leguizamo, Putumayo Dept, Puerto Leguizamo" for photos taken just a few hundred feet away from some of the others in NC.
The only application I have installed that might affect things is GPS Status 3.7 by EclipSim from the android market, but it seems to be functioning just fine.
I've performed a factory reset, cleared my cache and dalvik cache, and re-flashed the ROM and the problem remained. I haven't tried using a different ROM, but I planned on checking out Community ROM 2.0 sometime soon.
The problem persists after wiping data/cache/davlik cache and flashing to ComRom 2.1. I've updated the title of the thread accordingly. I have not tried reverting to a stock (or more nearly stock) configuration, nor have I tried swapping or re-formatting SD cards.
The closest thing I've found to someone having the same problem as me is a thread in the "New Member Introductions & Site Assistance" sub forum of droidforums.net entitled "colombian prisoners in my pics?"
If we have the same issue, it looks like it occurs on stock phones as well.

Going to travel to Italy with my fascinate, just for wifi usage. Noticed my google maps is not the version with the map caching. Anyone know if I can update to the latest one? It says I'm fully updated in the market, so maybe it's not "officially out" for fascinate?

Thanks for version #. I think my market was messed up, got it to update, and can turn on caching in the "labs" tab. Epic.
I have noticed 3 issues on both MeanROM 2.6 and CleanROM BE ICS:
If I try to view Usage in the Settings app I get "Unfortunately Settings had to close"
The stock Gallery app can no longer find my photos (which I have never moved from their default location) but Quick Pics can
Nothing seems able to find my local ringtones in either /sdcard/Ringtones/ or /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones/
I'd been dirty flashing stuff for a while before noticing the Settings thing. Today I used 4EXT to superwipe, install CleanROM, install A**x 3.3.0 and still get the Setting crash.
