Vibrant stuck on Installing update...

I am trying to install bionix rom on my vibrant. I think that I did everything correct, I rebooted in clockwork and installed from zip the bionix rom zip, I also tried installing the rom via rom manager, but neither one worked, they both got stuck on the installing update... with absolutely no progress on the bar underneath it. I waited hours for the rom to install and my vibrant still said installing update. I think that I might have done something wrong with my phone, because this happened to me when I was trying to install the fascinate puzzle lock screen mod, but I thought that it was just the mod. I rooted using the one click root, and I was wondering if this might be the problem? I am using the stock rom, ji6 rooted. I was wondering what i am doing wrong, and if I need to reroot could someone please give me instructions or a link to a thread? All of your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Help with rom manager

Does anyone know how to revert rom manager to a pre 3.0 recovery? I want to be able to use it like I used to. I know we don't need it with jt's recovery but I was just wondering. Thanks
odin if that doesn't work heimdall. cause anything else will cause problens and make you have to use one or both of the recovery programs to unbrick. GizmoDroid explains Clockwork here, read this it will clear a lot up.

[Q] Problems flashing Clockwork Recovery

So just to make it first stated, im no newb to this forum. i flash all the time. i just had my phone unbricked by Connexion2005 and the crew over at mobiletechvideos.com they did a fantastic job at restoring my vibrant to its previous luster. my problem now is i cannot find a way to flash clockwork recovery. ive downloaded rom manager from the market and tried flashing then rebooting to the recovery environment. but nogo. still on stock recovery. ive tried some of the older versions and none of them work either. what am i doing wrong? i also found others with the same issue in the clockwork thread in the dev section. someone shed some light for a fellow modder.

[q] cwm please help

No, I'm not a (complete) noob to this, but I have a few questions...
1) It seems like more times than not, I can't get something to flash properly with CWM, it'll get to "Installing update" then it just freezes on that forever (the loading bar has the \\\\\\\\\\\ that just stays like that). Am I doing something wrong?
2) I recently flashed the newest version of the Dark Side ROM and all seems to be running smoothly except the stupid new D3 Camera, it won't open. I've seen other people have problems with this, but not for this rom. I've tried flashing the D3 camera separately and even the stock camera but I keep having the issue listed in the first question.
I know there are a thousand other people who have asked this, but I can't get the stupid thing to work. Help would be greatly appreciated!
What/Who's version of CWM are you using first of all?
Tenfar's CWM (1720)
brother, you need to unlock your bootloader and upgrade to romracer's custom CWM 3.2 !
I'd switch to RomRacer's CWM Recovery... newer, better, etc.
First you need to check to see if you have file "install-recovery.sh" @ /system/etc.
If you do, delete it. Then install RomRacer's; thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1204500
Alright got the recovery image flashed, where do I go from here, or am I finished? They didn't provide any further instructions, but i'm not seeing an app or anything that would initiate recovery...
Woooowww... nevermind guys, the answer was too obvious. Anyway thanks for the help!

[Q] S3 won't boot into CWM Recovery

Hey there.
Ok, so don't blame me for sounding stupid or anything because I have just risen from Apple-Hell into the world of Android and I am not at all familiar with kernels, flashing and all that. I plan to read and learn more about it and if someone would be kind enough to maybe post a link to a basic guide or something, that would be great.
Now to my real problem.
I got my SGS3 a couple of days ago and since I don't like the looks of the new UI, I figured I have to root it. So I did, with Odin and now I'm planning to install CyanogenMod's nightly build. BUT, I can't seem to boot into CWM recovery, and instead it boots into the stock recovery. I have googled the problem with no luck. So, I came here in hope that someone has a solution.
If this topic has already been brought up, then I'm sorry, but I'm not really a forum-type of guy

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll check it out
Not sure about how you did root the phone, but i used the method from Chainfire with CF-Root ... This method puts the recovery manager in place and it should boot into there when using the volume-up, home-key and power button at the same time.

If this not happens you maybe can try to do this rooting again.
Yes, thank you. That was exactly what I was looking for. It works as it should now
