I have 1.83 rooted and i flashed gingerblur, I now want to flash greyblur instead. Can I just flash it right over Gingerblur? Or do i need to wipe data first or install a fresh sbf and flash it over that?
Thanks
It worked when I flashed gingerblur over greyblur so I'm assuming vise versa would work. Worst case scenario you would have to sbf flash back to stock.
I'm running 4.1.83 and greyblur worked for me but switched to gingerblur because it supports 4.1.83. According to the op of the greyblur thread it was meant to support 1.5.2. I'm waiting for an update before I flash back to greyblur.

I too am patiently waiting for Greyblur .83. I loved what Kennethpenn did with it. I am all the way back to .83 rooted but running stock ROM till I get Greyblur back.
So does greyblur not work with 1.83? If I flash it over gingerblur 3.1 on 1.83 will it work correctly. I find gingerblur to have bad battery life compared to stock.

That would be a question best asked of Kennethpenn. I do not think it will work but I am also not the best person to answer.

It cannot be upgraded to 2.3.5 and if it was upgraded to 2.3.5
it would actually be a downgrade...
The 2.3.5 firmware is full of all kinds of bugs because it's
an un-released leaked firmware.
It is NOT an official stock firmware for our i777 SGS2 phones.
Also developing any custom rom should start with a good foundation
like an officially released AT&T i777 SGS2 stock rom.
Trying to build a custom rom without a good solid foundation consisting
of some un-official leaked rom is only asking for a lot of bugs and problems.

You can update it - but then you'd no longer be unnamed, but "buggy leaked stock".
Unless you Hellraise a 2.3.5 ROM from the I9100 forums.
But really, what specifically do you want from 2.3.5? It's a minor update, it's not that big of a deal.

What is the latest and relible at&t atrix radio? I'm on .77 use to be on .98 is there anything after .98?

were may I obtain that I looked in fruitcakes thread and all I see is .77 and .93 I use att atrix usa
I had been using 97 (one bar issue). I bought my wife an atrix (free) and when I was setting it up I noticed its wifi and 4g signals really seemed reliable and snappier (where I am, anyway). It was a gingerbread phone but was running 30P. I searched around and found the sbf for the radio and flashed it (I only use rsd lite to flash radios). It does seem better...

On the Fruitcake Radio section is it labeled 1.77.36P.
This is the radio I have had best luck with.
I am running on at&t too.
Using N_01.100.00R and it worked perfect on Blur-based and CM7-based roms. gps locks immediately and wifi works perfect.

where do you find that?
As per my experience 30p radio has always been the best in terms of battery life and overall network/wi-fi connectivity. I have tried that will blur and non-blur roms (CM7, CM9, MIUI) and it worked flawlessly.
To flash AT&T N_01.77.30P download the "ATT .91 Radio" zip from the fruitcake post. That post also has 36p radio:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1163009
You can download 100r radio from below. It has good speeds but battery life could be less:
100R Radio
And to avoid the one bar lock bug you should do a full wipe between flashing radio's, correct?
@roflestomp
.91 is actually ATT 4.5.91 Gingerbread firmware SBF build for Atrix. .30p radio is also called GB radio.
Link for reference
I have not tried .36p yet. I will try it soon and will post results.
I want to go to the new Eclipse, but I am currently running CM7. Do I have to sbf back to 2.3.4, then install the 2.3.5 zip before I can install it? I know what to do after I sbf, just curious what I have to do when I start.

Some have reported success running eclipse on the 2.3.4 kernel. So you may be able to just wipe the big 3 and flash eclipse.
However, if you want to do it as it's meant to be done you will need to sbf. To flash 2.3.5 you have to be on stock 2.3.4.

Sbf is only option.
Tapin' the Talk on the xSquared
Yeah, if you want to do it right with the least possibility or amount of issues, SBF back to 2.3.4 stock and go from there.
Personally, I see no reason to upgrade to 2.3.5, I see no benefits between the two and notice no performance improvements. I am having the best luck with CM7.
Im just tired of waiting for official ics like everyone else. I want to double check and see which is the latest leak I can flash but get back to gingerbread if needed. Also on that particular leak how stable is it and hows the typical battery life? Thanks for the future responses.
Edit: also I forgot, can i flash this to safe system or do I need to go back to the stock rom uninstall safe strap and do something different? Im sure there's already instructions for installing just tell me which thread to look at haha
