"Shameless Kang-Bang" ROM(s) bundle features/mods developed by the real pros. I admit to having little or no skills.
This is a paste-n-bake version of Android 2.2 FRF72 making its way around XDA. This ROM is based on asim_ag de-odexed with Desire black bar.
This is the recommended radio:
Radio Download >>> 3321c196d8ec1cf748fd20c3c4068520 32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.12_7 radio.img
(Fastboot flash using "fastboot flash radio radio.img")
I've tweaked the build.prop so the Market works and added a couple apps as listed:
+ AccuWeather Widget (allows multiple forecast location widgets)
+ NFL Mobile (jlevy73)
+ Logger
+ transparent Genie Widget (britoso)
+ transparent Power Control Widget (britoso)
+ color Notifications Icons (formels)
+ color Settings Icons (928droid)
+ Android Keyboard black glass skin (928droid)
+ XDA
+ Tether Widget (jmdsdf)
+ Quickboot
+ Apps Organizer
+ Spare Parts (leonnib4)

Reported bug(s): App2sd external "apps & widgets disappearing" issue... jmdsdf wrote elsewhere..."In case you weren't aware (it's a common discussion topic on xda so I think you should be aware ) not all apps work from the SD card! Not all launchers can fully support apps on the SD card. Please do not put widgets, systems apps, ANY app that runs a background process on your SD card. YES, this means MOST apps can NOT run properly from the SD card (yet). This is information DIRECTLY from Google."
Do thank paulobrien for putting out the FRF72 (FroYo) ROM. Also thank eViL since it may be some of his work that asim_ag kanged.
As always... thanks to dsixda for keeping his kitchen project updated.
(My tech knowledge is minimal so requests will likely surpass my abilities. This is a stable and usable daily basic FroYo ROM that might get minor upgrades that suit my personal use.)
Please support XDA and the individual modders and developers listed above by donating $$$ to them!!!

Thanks for your reminder.
I've already installed your rom, and by far (several minutes after boot), it looks good.
One problem. I noticed that the kernal in your rom is still 2.6.32.xx , can I manually update it to intersect's 2.6.34.xx ? Thanks.
i tried to flash various FRF72 update(not only this one) but failed on flashing boot.img, it says E: no space left on this device.
by the way i'm on modaco R17.
is there anyway to fix it?
when i reflash modaco R17, the error doesn't come out.
Re: [ROM] [Shameless Kang-Bang] Android 2.2 FroYo FRF72 [06-21-10]
I would think you could flash any kernel that is for FRF72. This rom has the stock google kernel released with the build. I too plan a kernel swap at some point. Let us know how the kernel you run works out for you.

lpasq, the Application "Fancy Widget" in your ROM was removed from the Market on HTC's Request by the developer, therefore when placing it in your ROM will be considered as "Distribution", Please Remove the Fancy Widget from the ROM and PM me when re-uploaded, so i can unlock this thread, for now i am locking this post and removing the download link
Post is Re-Opened as the ROM has been re-uploaded without Fancy Widget, Link has been added to 1st post
Thanks

Just wondering if someone could create a clockwork mod of the lockscreens from Bionix 1.8 that I could flash to T959UVJI6.
Thanks

Hi,
This was already done and available before bionix included the mod, you can find the original thread, created by untermensch here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797431
It includes flashable zip files for both stock & deodexd versions of JFD and JI6, and the source files too in case you want to make your own mods.
Cheers, =)

Thanks, but it doesn't seem like these include the Vibrant Glass Unlock and the Stock 2.1 Slider Unlock.
I'm looking for all four lockscreens which are running smoothly on Bionix 1.8
It seems that if you flash this it removes the Segmented Green Battery Icon Mod. If you reflash the Segmented Green Batter Icon mod your phone starts, but goes into a restarting mode, which is weird.
Is there a fix to use both of these?

You obviously didn't try it because I'm using it and it DOES contain both the Glass and stock Android unlock screens...

My apologies then. There was no indication in the post that those were included.
Flashing now
Will this work NON JI6. Don't like JI6, so I am still on stock. Will this work on stock?

Just installed AFTER installing the Green Segmented mod, then the Lockscreen mod. Couldn't restart my phone. Doing a nandroid before installing the Lockscreen mod where I only have the Green Segmented mod installed. Will try it again with only this mod installed.

Hi All,
Possibly a stupid question, but I searched around and couldn't find the answer...
Where is Das Bamf located in ROM manager? There is no download link in the ROM thread (for the latest version, 1.3.2), just says to use CWR. Does it require the paid version? The only ROM providers I see in the manager are Extras, IncPacker, MrBobrowitz, jdlfg, jcase, MIUI, t3hh4xx0r, RetroKid223, and Google Apps. None of these seem to have Das Bamf.
I was able to find Das_BAMF1.3.2_te.zip by manually browsing his site's directory structure (hxxp://adrynalyne.grdlock.net/bamf/roms/themed/Das_BAMF1.3.2_te.zip), but when downloaded, it's only 3kb and is not a valid zip, so I assume that is not correct.
Thanks, all help is appreciated.
I am not completely sure about this and someone can correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe the ROM is available through ROM Manager. If you go to the thread and download the Themed or Non Themed ROM and save it to your SD card, you can then use ROM Manager to flash it. You probably ended up downloading just the Kernel, it's 3MB Also, you may want to wait a bit because 1.4 is supposed to be out today
Thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009876
1.3.2 (non themed)
--Fixed buysbox symlinks, replaced some toolbox symlinks with those from busybox.
http://www.multiupload.com/97F8D8OM48
1.3.2 (themed)
Themed version (has latest kernel and tether fix) (This version will force a data wipe!)
http://www.multiupload.com/V1VCOTK4RR
taken directly from the first post in the BAMF thread
Yea you may have just downloaded the kernel. The Rom is 200+mb I believe. Just download it and save it to your SD card. I the opened ROM manager and rebooted in recovery and then selected flash zip and selected the Rom's zip file.

Wow, somehow I completely missed that in the long list of links, thanks for pointing it out, I feel like an idiot
I was assuming that because I only saw links for the kernels, that the ROM itself was in the manager. Thanks!
By the way, does anyone who's already flashed this ROM have the md5sum for Das_BAMF1.3.2_nte.zip? I like to be on the safe side.
Actually, adrynalyne just posted a few hours ago that 1.4 will be available later today, so I'll probably just wait for that. Anyway, thanks for the help.
Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but I am hoping someone can help me out with this one. In ROM Manager, under DasBamf, it no longer lists any of the ROMS and gives me an error and tells me to contact the ROM Dev. Anyone else witness this or is it just me? Any fix?

It has been recommended not to download the roms from Rom manager, at least at one point, because people were getting bad and corrupted downloads. Just download out of the thread for the Rom you want and flash in recovery
das BAMF sense 3.0 rocking the bolt
+1 on not using ROM Manager
Definitely download straight from the thread. Also wipe each time you flash.

I usually do but I like to atleast be able to see that a new version is available but I guess it's not a give deal anymore now that I have the xda forums application downloaded. Thanks for the responses though. Atleast I know I'm not the only one though which rules out any problems with my phone.

I've got CheckRom installed with Kitchen. I've gone into Kitchen to install the ICS Theme but when it installs, I cannot use the Phone or Contacts function. An error comes up about some android.process. Is that not working? Also what is the best theme on there at the moment?
Try factory reset .

as memoix said install theme restore package or flash the whole rom without wiping.
Thank you so much guys. Done it and worked perfect. Then reinstalled the ICS theme and worked. Another noob question. The Kitchen app shows kernels available to download, if I do download it from there and install, is this a no wipe or would it wipe everything from my handset? Which kernel do you recommend?
Also I know it ain't as smooth as my friends one.
No wipe. Leave the same kernel or speedmod for stability.
I went to download rom on the Kitchen app, I am pretty sure I've got the latest version. It says that there's an update and tries to download but always stops around the 30% mark. Is this update an error?

I believe that is not included by default, but you can download and flash it with the kitchen app.
Thanks for the reply
Since I can't post in the development thread, can someone let me know if CheckRom will have an update soon for ICS. In a related query, why does the update on the kitchen app for the rom stop downloading after a while....
Does anyone else's home screen swipe lag a bit?
Today i'm instal this CheckRom (RevoHD v4) with ICS 1.7 Domination Soul Bound theme and it look like a Charm. Its faster and incredible then stock room.
