Greeting Alexpranee
I had the same problem with my x10. Mine rebooted at about 42 degrees
It's a hardware fault. Sony Ericsson replaced my motherboard for free.

Hi, i bought a new X10 last Wednesday (Jan 4th) Updated to 2.1 right after fully charged. On Friday I switched back to my G705 for a trip and now back with the X10. The battery haven't last one complete day so far (3g and BT off, screen ~60%).I read that it takes some charge/discharge cycles to get the phone an optimum battery life, especially after an update and the fact that i've been using it heavily the first days so i'm not going to complain too much about it. But there is the fact that it seems that the display is causing between 70% and 90% of the battery drop and making one single call the other day ate a lot of battery. Turned off face recognition and some background unused apps. But i think it's too soon to say it's a faulty battery. I'll do a full charge to properly test it.
The second thing is this artefacts in the screen. Is this a bug in all X10's or is it only in mine. Actually it doesn't bothers me that much but it could mean a faulty phone and degrade over time.

Thanks in advance

PS:I'm pretty happy with my new device (my first smartphone). I was very concerned about a screen lag but all that is gone now. Will stick to stock 2.1 for a while, 'till camera in FreeX10 gets fixed.

I don't have the artefact you have.
Model : X10i
Firmware : 2.1-Eternity build003
Baseband : 2.0.49
Kernel : 2.6.29
Build : 2.0.2.A.0.24
I don't have it either.
Model : X10i
Firmware : 2.0.2.A.0.24
Baseband : 2.0.49
Kernel : 2.6.29
I dont know the model numbers , but I know my first battery was a did. Held power for 3-6 hours, was mightly annoyed did the task killer, set screen etc and thought tattoos must be just the way it is...
Then I dropped the phone 12cms onto a thick jumper... Phone wouldn't charge... 4 hours later, coincidentally whilst I was on holiday fir lucks sake...
Returned as it was 29 days into the contract and they replaced the entire unit.
Now I can get 24 hours easy, (29% loss in a day, wifi on 247, 30 msgs, 30 emails, 20 mins on the phone.)
posted direct from the legend that is the x10i... the fastest processor, the slowest response...
Oh, nd it took a week or 2 for the battery life to increase

So it's too soon to talk about real battery life.
I think that each charge is lasting longer than the previous.

Battery life is more than one subject discussed.
about you screen problem?! go to the store and replace it to a new one
Hi,
I have a big problem with my phone. Sometimes it simply shutdowns just after booting. And sometimes it shutdowns if I use it in a normal way (like listening to music or browsing on Facebook) And the battery is not at 0%. It happens at each percentage. This afternoon it even happened at 85%.
The only I thing I noticed that this is not happening if the phone is connected with the power supply.
Have someone of you the same problem? Can someone help me?
Greetings
Hey there!

Good luck

Thanks. I already changed my ROM. From CM7 I went back to Wolfbreak. But there is the same problem.
Perhaps it is a battery problem? Should I buy a new battery?
Hi,man i have that problem too,
So,i see that if i plug my charger with no battery and pull the back button then the green light appear like in flash mode.so if you pull the battery when you have this led on,your battery indicates wrong values,in another way if your battery have 5% and you pull it with this strange flashmode then it indicate 88%.
Another symptom is that you not have the long vibration when you pull
out the battery and re pull on
Another one is if you remove sim and sdcard and boot the phone then you have the right battery values and no suck on your batttery for exemple,
in this mode my battery stay at 98% 4 hour O_O
The major problem is that your phone is in flash mode all the time and eat buttery and give wrong values and give WLOD at boot, normaly one before lock and one after.
I don't know what do that but give massive battery drain, massive network usage, and
Constant reboot.
I suspect virus or something like that.
Don't lose your time to try to reflash firmware or different rom cause that not solve the problem,
I reflash 1.6 2.1 2.3 and many custom rom with no success
Tell me if you have the green led when no battery and charger pluged and pull back key repetitively for appear this led
to ensure that you have the same problem.
If I find a way a post here for sure but I think that my phone is dead :-(
I know this is a bit old but I'm necro'ing it just in case it helps someone.
I had the same issue with my stock Optimus One, I installed AOKP and it worked like a charm.
Now i've had my Xperia Neo V for a while now with a custom version of AOKP and had no problem until recently, haven't installed anything new just a couple of updates, filled a new sdcard with music and it shut down out of the blue.
if you have shutdown problemes, it can be motherboard issue, ROM or kernel. Try reinstall android OS, and if you still got shutdowns try different kernel or ROM. I tested many combination and I didnt get any shutdown with Zmod ROM + Doomkernel ( I dont want to promote this rom or kernel, just writing my personal experience) . After changing kernel and ROM you could have batery drain, or it can looks like that. Wipe battery stats and recalibrate the battery. System need some time to create good new battery stats. 2 charging cycles and is good in most cases. Battery drain depends on that how you using phone so charging every day ( once per day) is normal.
It sounds like the 'Old Battery' issue! LiPol/LiIon batteries only have a life span of about 2 years. X10 is older than that now!

Post 16 onwards.
New battery fixed the problem for me. Pack of 2 and a charger on ebay for $10.
My battery temp
On standby is around 28 C
When using wifi and surfing then goes to max 45 C
Is that normal. Also after playing crazy birds space version after 15 minutes i got force close annd battery is also around 40 - 45 C
I am using minicm 2.1.9 and + nAa 11 on my x10mp

Come on. Am I only one with this problem?
Sent from my U20i using xda premium
Nope, if i watch some videos online (WiFi enabled), then my phones temperature goes till 48 C. I doubt this is normal. By the way, am using minicm7 pro v21 for my mini-pro u20i. And at standby it is 28 C, same as urs. I initially thought it might be some battery calibration problem, but re-calibrating it didn't make any difference.
In standby i got 21C and max is 42C that my battery heated.
I haven't checked though whether the issue exists with stock rom on u20i (but i don't recollect battery heating up to such high levels which would make me feel the difference) and unluckily am little lazy to check now But would really like some suggestion regarding heating problem, cause the phone gets heated up very badly and i am quite concerned about what impact it could have on the components of the phone itself
@matthias1203, where you able to get any solution for this? The temperature today completed a half century for me It reached 50C. Really would like some solution or suggestion for this...
normaly my phone on standby is around 35-40c. with wifi it goes to around 45c with bluetooth and wifi around 50.
Don't know any solution. I guess that is normal. Mine goes from min: 25 to max: 45

I don't think that, my mini's battery temperature is 23°C with wifi ON
Since I have third-party battery my battery doesn't show temperature any more but I remember that the stock one had 45° after a lot of skyping with wifi...

My original battery was also failing: it gave many random reboots. I was on Feralab V21 (Gingerbread 2.3.x) and Z-MOD (also 2.3.3)
I just bought a new battery (CellOnic - 3.7V - 1500mAh, bought it at subtel.com), and it works without any problem.
When you switched your battery, I guess it should be wise that you wipe battery stats in recovery (before booting).
Hope it will help you. I can't think of anything else for you.
BTW: 10w15 and 10w30 is a abbreviation of manufacturing date.
The year is 2010 and the last number is the week number.
But I guess it doesn't have anything to do with your problem.
