XDA Official App is draining my battery! - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just noticed that XDA app was draining my battery! I charged my phone this morning to 100% and 6 hours later my battery was down to 78%. I did NOT use the phone AT ALL (no text, no calls, no nothing) and the screen was off all the time. When I checked my battery usage, I saw that XDA app was using 25% of my battery?!
Anyone notice a similar thing?

Strange overnight battery drain behaviour

Another battery drain thread....
The battery life on my UK S2 during the day is fine - from 8am to 5pm in the office it goes from 100% to 75%, with 3G on the whole time (no wifi, GPS or bluetooth). I check emails throughout the day but make/receive very few calls.
Last night I charged the phone to 100% then installed ZDBox, put the phone into Do Not Disturb/Airplane mode between midnight and 9am using ZDBox, and left the phone by my bedside upstairs. When I checked it at 08:50 this morning the phone was still in airplane mode but the battery had dropped to 25%.
If I can go 9 hours in the office with 3G switched on, and occasional email checking, and still retain 75% charge, why would it have dropped from 100% to 25% while in airplane mode for 9 hours at home overnight?
The battery usage stats at 08:50 this morning showed:
Android O/S 96%
Android System 2%
Dialer 2%
I'm running stock XWKI4 (2.3.4), upgraded via Kies and rooted.

i would also urge people to purchase this app in the market to support the developer who is always on hand to offer assistance on XDA and always posts updates on here too, it's well worth the small charge for a great app.

[Q] Super Battery Drain

I have the brightness complete off, no window animations, 15 sec screen timeout and my display is using 93% of battery... Is this normal??
I'm having the same problems. I think most 3Ds have that problem

Depends on how you use the phone. If you made a few calls and some emails and thats all then yes. Its a percentage of what is currently draining the battery. 93% is display and the other 7% is from voice calls, phone idle and android system. If you do not use your phone much 90% and above will be display. How long is your battery life?

[Q] Battery life question

Hello, I recently rooted my phone and installed the omega rom. At first i was really impressed with the battery- it was like 1-2% in 8 hours. It was amazing, but now i have the same as stock(7-9%). I remember when i switched on the alarm clock then it started draining faster. I also installed a custom kernel(Siyah) but i dont think that is the problem. Can anyone help me with what the problem is and how can i get less battery drainage.
Thanks

I switched it on in STweaks, but still the battery drains(It show that the phone is constantly awake for a short period of time). And now there's a new problem with charging- the charging speed is fast until it reaches 50% and then it took 1 and a half hours to charge 20 % and now it's even slower.
Battery life is now like 10% in a day when not using it a lot.(couple calls and little bit of wifi)
I used some guy's power plan and disabled many apps and now i had 1% in 12h

Battery drop after full charge

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing crazy battery drop after a full charge. My phone drops from 100% to 80% in like 20 minutes every time. After it gets to 80% the battery drain stops.
