Hi everyone.
I was running Achotjan's 2.2 cyan rom when i decided i might try installing the kernel from tripnmiui 2.2. Anyway, long story short, when my phone starts, i see the sony ericcson logo, and i hammer the back button but it doesn't do anything. Then the logo cuts and the led turns white. Then it just reboots, to start the process again. Is there anyway to fix this?
Run repair software via SEUS or PC Companion, and start over.
Use flashtool, the easiest of ways.

Hello all. I have a quite big problem. After I tried to change the Baseband+Kernel on my x10 for flash a ROM, my phone doesn't want to boot.
When I turn on the phone, it simply show a green led one time and doesn't boot. Any ideas ?
Flash it back from stock room, repair with PC Companion.
Had the same problem many hours ago.
Just enter xrecovery, restore any ROM, flash a SE 2.1 ROM from SEUS or PC Companion ( Repair option ), and try again.
This time, after flashing any Ginger ROM, wait 30 sec and then flash FTF. Turn on phone and thats it.
The problem is that I can't simply boot and then I can't go to xRecovery. And Pc Companion says me that there is no version for my phone with the repair function
And flash a ROM with flashtool doesn't make anything
Hi,
Last night, i tried to root my Xperia x10i phone, following the steps in this article:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=711907
After completing the 1st step, i tried to boot my phone. I get the usual vibration when booting, and after a second or two, the phone had started vibrating endlessly.
Then i tried to recover it using PC Companion (Connected in flash mode). It downloaded the firmware and installed it to the phone flawlessly.
I disconnected the phone, in switch on. Get the usual vibration, and then the screen backlight starts to turn on and off constantly. As the PC Companion says this could happens for a few minutes at first boot after update, i waited, but it simply remains doing the same thing, and never show the SE logo.
I tried to repair again, this time using SEUS, following all the instruction, with same result.
I dont know what else can i do... Please Help!!!
this will help you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmX-IYNYqL8
You mean try to flash it to 2.1? Or to 1.6?
flash it to 2.1
Ok. I've just tried to flash with a 2.1 x10i generic rom and a 2.3 x10i generic rom, following the steps in the video. Dont work...
hmm.. weird, any1 can help here?
Yesterday, i left the phone in the office, with the battery out, hoping that something i read in a forum, about this could work, was true. Today i take the phone, put the battery back, and turn on the phone, and... No luck... My xperia is still dead...
Try using SEUS instead of PC Companion.
Follow the instructions ins SEUS and make sure that the phone is off and hold down the BACK button before you plug in the USB cable and make sure you keep it pressed down until the software tells you otherwise.
I've done so, but still dont work... But i'll try again...
I've just tried with SEUS, which download the 2.3 update. SEUS run all the way, and says disconect and turn on. Same result...
Any sugestion?? I almost give up on this... =(

Nope done that and nothing it only vibrates and doesn't stop
guys, i know that there are similar threads here on the topic im asking now. However i did read through and NONE was same with my case.
i was with MiniCM7 pro on my mini pro, decided to revert back to 2.1 original kernel using pc companion since the firmware was not stable in my unit (batt drain simply fast in 4 hours causing heaty batt from the cover, bt cannot use and running in background, unit restarts itself randomly etc etc).
i done the reversion via pc companion, having 2.1.1.A.0.6 in my unit at the end of the process (the final message from pc companion) and at the end it requires a 5 seconds shutdown and long restart. by that time the boot loop happens after the white sony wording and SE logo. It is a brick case now.
I tried flashtool but "debugging mode off", i tried pc companion again but it requires me to turn on debugging mode which i can never do that in a boot loop.
previously with both CWM and xrecovery from CM7 pre-installed but cannot log into recovery mode by pressing 'back' button and 'sliding' the keyboard.
what should i do now? seriously in a dilema..
i think i just came across with one of the solving method which i cannot digest it (which many of you provided such solving method).
once completed, i will post up photo on how to for solving boot loop errors.
hope im not a nuisance.
SE pc companion > Support Zone > Start >Phone Software Update > Start > Repair phone
this is the procedure.
I recently found a thread that I posted this question to, but I did not get an answer, so I'm posting it here, for a bigger audience.
I was trying to install an another rom to the X10 Mini with clockworkmod installed. When the installation finished, cwm said that its installation had been damaged. I selected the option to fix the problem and after that the phone just restarted and went broken.
My phone doesn't even show the boot animation, it just has the sony ericsson logo, it doesn't stay off and when restoring with flashtool I get the message Error flashing. Aborted.
First, the phone stays in the flashing mode only when I keep the back button pressed, but after a failed flashing attempt it stays in the mode (without pressing the back key and with the green led on) and when I try flashing again, it fails after a while.
What would this be about? And what can I do to recover my X10 mini?
Do you happen to know if there's a confirmed working flashtool for the 2.1 update and x10 mini (not pro) OR another failsafe method to fix the phone somehow when even the recovery doesn't work?
Have you tried SEUS?
Restore your phone using Pc Companion or seus and then read every instruction 20 times, before doing anything. The only reason for errors is that you didn't do everything right.
Hi All.
I ran mybackup root for the first time in a long time, only to find a nag screen telling me to install the latest busybox which I did. It was installed into system/bin and on rebooting my X10 mini pro I can no longer get passed the sony ericsson splash screen. I do have an older version of CWM recovery but cannot access this either. Does anybody have any suggestions? I have a custom rom and apps that I'd rather not lose by resorting back to stock.
Thanks.
Well, I've tried pc companion, and still can't get passed the SE logo so can't follow the instructions to repair the phone. Looks like the phone is bricked. This couldn't have come at a worse time, as it's days after Christmas. :crying:

You can always repair the phone, you only need flashmode to do that
Leave it unplugged, choose update in PC Companion
It can't recognise your phone so offer you the repair option
Follow the instructions and connect your phone in flashmode when it asks for it.
(Connect the usb-cable, press home and power buttons simulaneously and when the screen goes black, release those and press the back-button)
Pc companion did recognise the phone. But then asked me to use the pull down menu, as I couldn't even get passed the SE logo, I could not accomplish this task.
I have, however, flashed the phone via SEUS, and now have the SE firmware on there so am good to go. I don't know why I needed the pull down menu on PC companion, and not on SEUS to flash the phone. But at least there are other options to sort the phone out.
Thanks for the reply anyway SmG67.
