when i was using my x10 1.6 i was able to hang up with power button
when i had my 2.1 and 2.2 it didn't work is there is any solution to this problem

Hi.
When I was just unlocking my screen it went funny looking and then popped up that screenshot was captured.
I am un rooted on KE1 and not using any 3rd party software.
I know from being on root on KDD there is a screenshot app in the stock system folder.
Anyone know what the key combo is?

The "Home" + "Power" key combo will get you a screenshot!

I was wondering whether there was any way to get the option to use the volume buttons on the x8 to skip songs while the phone is screen is locked/off? I know about the lockscreen touch controls that are built in but it's a lot better with volume buttons.
Is it only a CM7 feature? Is there perhaps an app that can do it? I'm using froyobread v21...

as far as i see with both minicm and froyobread just leave the +button for the next song and the - for the previous one, didn´t need to make something it's already built in

try to press and hold volume button while the screen is off..
It's a feature included in FroyoBread since "I don't remember when", hold the volume button for maybe 1' when lockscreen is on... I've just done it : it works.
someone who have 2.3 stock can please test SoftLocker app
does it fixes wakeup(deep sleep bug, when press home button then need to wait 2sec)?
i have cm7.2, its not fixing..
Use no lock
Or in cm go to tablet tweaks and disable locscreen

Just wondering if there is a return key which will take you to the previous menu on this phone? I can see there is a physical button but I am guessing this is the 'home' Button..

Yes, to the right of the Physical button you see is a haptic button that lights up when you touch it and that is the Back/Return key and on the left is a Menu/Options key :laugh:

Are you talking about the capacitive buttons (the ones beside the home button)? If so then they should automatically turn on when the button(s) are pressed/touched and then turn off automatically after few seconds of being idol. If you want them on permanently then I am not sure on how to do that, but doing so would use significant battery anyway.
You just have to edit the hw_config.sh file in system/etc
Find the line something like
Echo 500 @ button backlight (or something like that)
