Just carrier unlock your phone with something like SGSUnlock or ask tmobile and you should be good to use a prepaid sim from there

It's running CM7.2 stable.
I'm selling it to someone who wants to use TMobile. What do I have to do?

Is it sim unlocked or bootloader unlocked? If its sim unlocked, just put the T-mobile sim in. Note that until T-Mobile starts activating more of their AT&T compatible 1900Mhz spectrum, you'll only get Edge.

It's bootloader unlocked. And I'm selling it so.. Lol. I told the buyer to use an online service to get an unlock code.

I would like to know if its possible to unlock a new Verizon phone with a sim so that I can use it on another us carrier (ex. Cincinnati Bell ) which is my current network. If so is there anything special like network signal compatibility between the two?

Just to make sure I'm not missing something, your friend has an ATT phone and his account get's frozen when he tries to put in another ATT SIM or a SIM from a different carrier? If it freezes his account when putting in another ATT SIM in his ATT phone then I would recommend contacting ATT and explaining what is happening to them as that's a network operator error. If the phone freezes his account when putting in another SIM from a non ATT carrier then what you can do is ask ATT for a SIM unlock code or if you tell me what model your friends phone is there places online you can buy a SIM unlock code you can enter yourself on your friends phone. Let me know if you still have questions.
Hello,
My dad recetly retired his GS3 SCH-530C. He originally bought from Cricket (a US carrier) and is compatible with 4G LTE speeds. As some of you may know, Cricket was recently aquistioned by AT&T, so now they use AT&T Networks and use SIM cards. Cricket used to be a CDMA carrier when the GS3 came out but now is a GSM carrier. The GS3 in question is a CDMA however it has a slot for a SIM card so I am not sure if its compatible with the-now-GSM Cricket. Currently, the phone has a blank SIM card replica installed but has no use. So in case you're confused: Is the GS3 SCh-530C compitible with a GSM network?
