[Q] Any alternate browser to Skyfire? - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Since skyfire is banned in my country including many asian countries.
Is there any good web browser that competes skyfire and plays flash videos online on x10 mini?
Or
any work around like changing IP address like hotspot shield that will enable me to use skyfire?

[Q] Best way to stream Hulu to my TV?

Looking for creative ways to get Hulu on my tv.
I am open to ANY suggestion, but to keep it relevant to this section I need to know methods involving either the Vibrant or Android also.
Thanks!
Do you prefer free or paid? There's alot of paid options, but there are free options as well.
Whatever method works... Ha

Do you have like a Blu-Ray player? you know the ones with Netflix etc? Or a PS3/Xbox?
best option and its very easy!! if u have a pc just download playon its a media server. So if u have a wd media player or a wii, 360 or ps3 then log onto the media server on any of those, it supports many other devices too. U can watch netflix or hulu or many many other channels on there.
theres a android app too
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.playon.playonapp&feature=search_result
pc
http://www.playon.tv/playon
very easy and simple and once u get the android app u can watch netflix or hulu from ur playon on ur phone over 3g or wifi. Works great thats how i do it.
wow, I had heard playon, but did NOT realize it was on Android.
Can I then use TV out to my tv, from my vibrant? I mean, it gets wifi.. if the signal is good for the server, seems like that would work. Phone has flash.. hulu work on our phones?
hulu works on some phones but it works on all phones through playon i think. i know i get hulu and netflix very easily.
Alright, sounds like my Vibrant + PlayOn is the way to go.
Any other options that I am missing though?
3 months ago we canceled comcast services and picked up at&t u_verse Internet (tv not in our area yet) and the Roku HD box. Netflix/Amazon/hulu+ and lots more. Our kids use wii's for netflix. It's a switch not having regular tv but we really don't miss it, I prefer it this way.

Free Live TV streaming in UK?

Hi All,
This is for users who have not aware of this.
In your web browser if you go to the below site and sign up for free you can stream live UK TV (like freeview channels) just around 10 seconds delay - I use to do this on my Iphone and discovered it also work on android and its good quality.
Android

Iphone
http://iphone.tvcatchup.com/
NOTE: if your on a limited data plan then please beware of using this (use wifi) as it will eat up your data plan.
Enjoy

This is a live streaming for all you sport enthusiasts. that providing u subscribe to it, u can then watch it free on your phone... streampro.tv
Just to let You know, since i got this i don't have Sky Sports anymore.
I get to watch all the Premiership games live at 3 o'clock on a Saturday.
All main sporting events i.e Boxing, Golf, Rugby etc etc
And its really cheap to, saved me a fortune.
thanks for the links, new android user so its good to know these things
Remember if you are in the UK, you need a TV License to do this legally as it is classed as live broadcast in the Terms & Conditions.
Tv licence as stated required for live transmission .
Catchup TV watching TV that is not live does not at present require a licence .
Source TV and Licensing web site .

It's called TVCatchup but there is no OnDemand facility, it is streamed live and does indeed require the user to have a valid UK TV License! Not that they could ever really enforce it.... yet (Deep Packet Inspection anyone??).
It is a great service and I've used it without issue for the past year or so. Recommend to anyone.
Regards.
I've got to say that watching flash streams was a joy on my Nexus One, and trying Demand Five on the Galaxy S II it's been amazing.
Just a shame most of the sport has popups, comment boxes, and get pulled after 30 mins by Sky.
which browser are you using for tvcatchup? Just tried to use it on my S2 and when I choose the channel and hit play nothing happens! Using stock browser...any ideas?

I've been on tvcatchup with the stock browser and it worked fine over 3G
I'm still struggling, i followed the guide on the tvcatchup forum for android settings but still no luck. Same with Wifi or 3g. Really annoying...

Flash player?
Anyway I like m.tvcatchup.com better, doesn't need flash and works with the stock video player
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
I got it working finally by going to the mobile version of the website. I dunno why the full version wasn't working though...

[Q] Live TV

Just found an app in Apple's App Store that lets you watch live TV with all the UK freeview channels for free over wifi. Just wandering if there's a similar one for Android. Cheers

personally i find the quality on that really bad
its better if you open the full tvcatchup site, not the mobile one and play from that.
TV catchup when im in the UK is pretty good,http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/entertainment/filmon-watch-free-live-tv_bfywl.html isn't bad either but doesn't have loads of channels
cheers guys, the apple one was actually a link to this website. but the crazy thig is that on my ipod touch (which spec wise is way below the SGS2), the video is actually smooth, where as on my phone is a frame per 2 or 3 seconds. any idea if it's the player maybe? i used the stock one and rockplayer both with same result
edit: the filmon one is crackalakin!!! cheers dudes

Windows Flash Player on Android

There are some Web sites which only work properly using a Windows browser with bulit in Flash player and a good solution is to switch to the Android Photon browser for those sites.
The Photon browser uses a Windows based server in rhe USA instead of a built-in Flash player to access Web sites to solve the problem.
There is no noticable delay going through their server but the Web sites see you as a USA based user no matter which country you live in and it works on Kit Kat.
I understand it has been available on Apple devices much longer than Android and is well supported there too.
The technical support is excellent and very quick to respond.
If Flash is important to you then try the Photon browser for those sites which don't work well using Android browsers with Flash built in.

Puffer TV app creation/conversion?

Puffer is a research project in the computer-science department at Stanford University.
https://puffer.stanford.edu/
Allows users to Stream live TV in your browser. There's no charge. You can watch U.S. TV stations affiliated with the NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, Fox, and CW networks.
Puffer works well in the Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Opera browsers, on a computer or an Android phone or tablet. Puffer does not work on iPhones or iPads or in the Safari browser.
There is a third party that is/has created a Fire TV app
https://medium.com/better-programmi...do-it-it-s-stupid-how-easy-it-is-dd155e052c5e
So, could the Fire TV app be used to create/convert to work on Android TV devices?
Seriously asking.. For what benefit? There are many better ways to achieve that already

Sorry, I'm just not aware of the better ways of achieving that, which was the reason I posted. If you can please point me the right direction then I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Well one way is just to use the native apps or i am pretty sure that kodi comes with addons for it or m3u lists you can add
