Hello everybody,
first I thank you for this forum to help anyone to optimize our device X10 and thank again developper you're best !!
I have a matter with Rom 2.2.1 from FreeX10
I use the guidelins to install this custom. And I have always a notification to show me : card Sd is blank !
Of course with this problem, I don't use Titanium or any application needing Sd card.
This is my manipulation of intallation freeX10 2.2.1 :
I have x10 root with xrecovery and I tried every rom and themes in this forum.
So, I use xrecovery and I went to install custom in sd card. and first I installed FreeX10-beta2.zip.
I rebooted the phone and wait 5 minutes with the froyo rom freex10. I saw the notification : Sd card is blank.
After that, I shooted down, and went to xrecovery and installed FreeX10-beta2-hotfix1.zip .
I rebooted the phone and wait 5 minutes. I had always notification : Sd card is blank.
What's the probleme ??????? Help please I want to use this rom!
Hi. I've a strange problem. When I install any app to SD Card, after reboot, the app disappears from launcher. But it is still there in the list of installed apps. If I move it to phone, then it reappears.
I am using the native apps2sd, not the ext2 partition one. It is strange because it was working previously without any issue. I have experienced this both with the MiniCM RC1 and xCyanogenMini. I am therefore considering to revert back to stock eclair firmware. Because App2SD was the only reason I wanted to upgrade. I don't want to partition my SD Card.

Is it 'native Apps2SD'? SE has never issued an offical Apps2SD, different Apps2SD scripts may vary from each other.
It's a kinda bug I experienced, and crashed my 2 MiniCM ROMs, and bricked my phones.
I had to make use of SEUS to flash these phones back into 2.1 stock ROMs, and started flashing other ROMs later on.
Luckily, I backed those applications with Slax (a live CD) before those failed experiments. Reformated those Ext3 partitions in WinXP to bypass adding root permission to it, ran again the Apps2SD scripts, put apps back into /system/sd/app directory (or /sd-ext/app directory in MiniCM ROMs)... and the nightmare was over.
You may try to see if it works for you then.
You may also shift into another launcher to see if it solves your problem, and may also save your time.
And don't forget to tell us your final finding on this problem ;-)
Hi!
Today I have rooted my O1 without any problem. After that, I decided to partitionate my 8 GB SD in order to move apps in this way:
6.5 GB fat 32 primary
1 GB ext2 primary
At the moment I cannot download link2sd from the market (because of incompatibility). How can I solve this issue?
My phone data: LG O1 Official 2.3.3 - rooted with SuperOneClick
the author already uploaded the Link2SD installer on his post...
Well, i cannot post on Oodie Thread, so i hope to find answers here.
I just flashed the new Oodie Prime X MIUI 2.1.20 rom with the Doomlord Kernel. I have to say that is beautiful, and very fast.
But the problem is that a2sd+ isn't working.
After flashing the rom a2sd+ seems to be work, but when i install an app it is on the internal storage and not on the sd-ex partition. I have tried the "Step-by-Step HOW-TO for activating native miui a2sd+" from 9Lukas5. But this don't worked for me. a2sd+ puts alls apps to the sd but then i cant use the apps anymore because the are removed from the Homescreen. And the the storage settigs say i dont have a2sd+.
If i install the rom and activate a2sd+ with A2SDGUI app, the apps move to sd but i can't access like the way before. btw..i also want to use SWAP...but after an reboot the A2SDGUI app shows SWAP deaktivated...
I HAVE a partitioned SD card
The filesystem is EXT2
I HAVE a SWAP partition
The filesystem is SWAP or whatever SWAP is using
SD-Card is Class 10
I DID ALL steps from the existing How-To
So, is anyone here using this version of Oodies rom and use the a2sd+ and swap function?
If yes...can you please say me the exact steps you did to get this working?
Thanks for your help
did you tried to format the sd card?? is the easy and fastest way to make the app work, i did all the steps and finally, decided to format and voila! now is working
im in oodie prime x too, it is just beautiful
hm...ok thanks i'll try this.
i don't like to formate my sd-card because its a 32gb card and it is irritating to make evrytime a backup and copy this back again...but if it help...
