help please :) - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

phone is stuck at sony ericsson logo, i cant update using se pc companion cos it keeps disconnecting my phone after a few seconds and the phone boots and stick at se logo. i had installed slades v3.03 froyo then i installed cwm, then installed D4's froyo, then decided to revert back to slades as D4's still has a few bugs. Anyway i forgot to clear the caches before using CWM to restore my slade backup and now its stuck at SE logo. iv tried searching but every one else seems to be able to use SE pc companion and i cant is there a way to boot into CWM without having to switch the phone on, like you could with xrecory when you just kept pressing the back button as soon as se logo loaded?

use flash tool flash bac stock rom.
i stuck b4 tat.. pc compa is not work ...

1. Download modified "SuperOneClick".
2. Enable "USB Debug".
3. Connect phone to "PC" and select "Charge Phone".
4. Open "SuperOneClick" and select "Root".

I can confirm that this is working on my E10i - I updated from 2.0.A.0.504 and this works a LOT better then the last version I used to root my previous firmware!!!
Good Job! z4root and Universal Androot have failed me, but SOC rooted just fine. Thank you so much!
SOC working... partially?
I just rooted mi X10mini with SOC but Titanium Backup Pro can't obtain root access...
Edit: Ok, I fixed it, I downloaded busybox using the Titatiun Backup wizzard and voila!!

How to reinstall 2.3.3?

How do i reinstall 2.3 on my device? Like, when my software crashes or hangs i have to run to SE Service Center. There, the
Guys reinstall 2.3 again to bring life to my phone.
How do i do that stuff?
Many users guided me by saying that it can be done through PC Companion. But, PC Companion is used only for UPDATE.(thats the only option visible). I cannot see anything like REPAIR or REINSTALL.
plz assist!

There is Sony Ericsson Software called "SONY ERICSSON UPDATE SERVICE"
Search it in google, and download it.
Run it and you will see the reapir option there.
When you run it, on checking software version, it will say that your software is up to date, but instead that, there will be an option for "Repair"
Select it, and there u go
Thank me! if it helped.

I suggest you flash a pre-rooted stock 2.3 and make a backup using xrec. then if something mess up just restore your rom. try searching for azuzu pre-rooted stock 2.3.
With your phone NOT connected to PC, open PC companion..

[Q] X10 mini (e10) almost bricked stuck in boot loop

Sorry for the long post, but I will try and explain everything as much better as I can.
So, I accidentally flashed a x10 mini PRO rom on the X10 mini. Now the phone gets stuck on the MI logo (it was a miui rom). I can restart the phone normally, I can shut it down, and there is communication with s1tool.
I cannot get into recovery, so I'm stuck. The phone has an unlocked bootloader. So I'm trying to connect it with flashtool, I have the drivers installed, but I don't know what to flash now to restore the phone in a working order. I can't get the phone to remain in flashmode, except if I open s1tool and identify it first. Otherwise it stays in flashmode for 10secs and then it starts booting again.
I have actually managed to flash a stock SE firmware via flashtool. What I did was, I opened s1tool, and then flashtool, and flashtool was able to communicate with the phone, to read the information, and actually flash it, but after I restarted I was stuck in the same boot loop.
I tried to flash recovery again from flashtool, but even when I'm in flashmode, it does not activate all the buttons in flashtool, and therefore it does not give me the option to flash recovery.
I tried with SEUS also to restore it, but it says I have the latest version and it does not let me proceed.
So my question is, is there any way to flash recovery from flashtool, and what is that way? How do you enter flashmode, for the green LED to remain on, because I'm not sure I'm doing it right? Is there any other way to flash a ROM from flashtool?
Please help.
Repair it with SEUS or PC Companion.
Step A: Leave your phone disconnected from your PC
Step B: Run SEUS/PC Companion, and select update
Step C: It doesn't recognise your phone because it's disconnected and give you a repair option
Step D: Select it, choose your model, it will download the firmware
Step E: You get a popup, Press the back-button on your phone while it's off and plug in the USB-Cable
Step F: Wait till it's done...
I have tried that, but I will do it again step by step, and see what happens. Thank you for your time.
restore your phone
sorry for bad english ...
the image is a link to Stock firmware. flash through flashtool flashmode mode.

If you haave an unlocked bootloader, why don't you flash a custom kernel for the mini like nAa-14 then use its inbuilt recovery to flash minicm7?

[Q] Xperia X10 Mini Kernel Problem -Wont boot at all-

Hello,
Today I unlocked the bootloader of my E10i and tried to flash the kernel with anroid 2.2
Well, I accidentaly selected X10's kernel instead of E10's. It flashed without any fail but now the phone wont boot at all.
I've tried fastboot and flashtool mode on "flashtool" so i can flash back the original kernel but the mobile can't be recognised at all from the pc.
It can't neither enter flash mode (back button while plugging USB), nor fastboot mode (vol up while plugging USB).
Screen will not even wake. When i connect it to charge. the loght won't even come up.
I've searched all the internet and didn't find a solution to my problem.
If there is a way so I can get my phone back i would be gratefull to help me.
Sorry for my English.

I accidently flashed x10mini's kernel to my x8 before but it could turn on with a blank screen. Then reflashing x8's kernel solved the problem.
Anyways try to take out battery then replace after 7 minutes (there's a black cable in back of your phone, you can disconnect it using a screwdriver)
If still no sign of life (no vibration when pressing power button or turning to flash mode) so it's a HARD BRICK
only can repaired by Sony service center or jTag box
(Sony service is recommended)
Sorry

[HELP] My X10 Mini thinks that it's a X8!!!

Hey guys, i know that's weird, but my X10 Mini thinks it's an X8.
I tried porting a X10 PacMan ROM from X10 Mini Pro to X10, but i got bootloop. And I hadnt a backup. Then I tried to flash the stock 2.1.1.A.0.6 firmware with flashtool, but when it was done flashing, the phone was trying itself to open, but with failure, because as you can see at the image, it says that i connected E15, which is X8.

}
Also after that, i tried to use PC Companion from SONY, but a message appeared telling me that there's no firmware for my device. And then i was like, "WTF are you telling me?"
Anyway, i flashed then nAa 14 kernel, and i thought that i finally managed to fix the phone. But no. when i tried to flash a ROM, i got this error.
So, i thought that changing the script from E10 to E15, would made my phone work. Because as you can see, it worked. 50% -.-"
The flash was done but the phone tries to turn on, and then it just turns off, and then turns on, and then turns off.
Any ideas to the problem???
My E10i Was Bricked 5 Times due to Customizing, So i Use SEUS to fix it...
Use SEUS Bro...

I used SEUS but a message appeared telling me that there is no software available for my phone, so the flash was canceled. Anyway, i finally managed to fix the phone by flashing 2.1.1.C.0.0 stock with flashtool. Flashing 2.1.1.A.0.6 didn't work. But i don't care, cause the phone is fixed now!
