Hi i want some advice about my problem Well im a new user of the HD2 i got it 2 weeks ago ... And now i have very big issues with it. I was browsing with the Opera on the device and the phone Froze Up i tryed everything and i restarted it... The phone started up to the HTC logo with the red ID of the product and ... i waited a while like 2 hours and i saw a post in this forum for the hardware reboot that restores the factory settings. I pressed the volume up and down buttons and i started the phone it restored all and then another problem appeared. the following message:
"This program cant boot you have low storage memory please delete something ..."
But i dont Have anything on the device memory so i cant delete anything from it ;( And the HTC sense dosn't want to start and the phone is unusable
Please someone help :[
why dont u bring it back where you bought it if u only got it two weeks ago...did u flash ur phone with any roms or is completely stock?
Well that's my other problem Because the phone is buyed from London... And i cant send it back so fast to my father to take it to Carphone Warehouse and i will have to try to fix it here ... in Bulgaria. well i have a flash memory card 2GB and i installed some software on the phone but its all gone after the reboot... and i took off the memory card so that i dont lose the files on it :[
Hmmm
Go the the HD2 Rom Development section of this forum. Check out the first post. It should have all the stickies on flashing your first ROM.
1. Get HSPL3
2. MTTY29 Flash
3. Flash a radio.
4. Flash a new rom(I love Artemis. Blazing fast and ultra stable)
You should be sorted out fine bro. It doesnt seem like a big deal
Mm I will try it but it may take some time im waiting the phone to charge fully. Because i cant do anything with the phone i cant see how much its charged allredy. And i dont think that the phone responds so well it asks me for the usb connection and i press Active Sinc and nothing happens mhm...
hmmmmmmm...
i want to fix it not to trash it xD
the memory is to low and the device can't perform anything ... and the USB dosn't want to connect :[ the phone was working great and it went to hell for 1 sec ... lol
Ah guys thanks for the help but ... It can't be fixed :[ I will have to return it to Carphone Warehouse its a technical glitch ;(
Low Phone volume after flashing rom
Hey Guys,
I flashed my phone last night with the ELEGANCIA ROM Series. All went well but now the volume on all calls are at a very low volume. I have tried to adjust the volume while on the call but the bar is at the max level.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do. But the way, I didn't have this problem with the stock rom and this was the very first rom that I placed on the phone.
Thanks... please help...
From Where can i find the MTTY29 Flash... i cant find the original thing, can someone give me a link :?
Yesterday i put my hd2 in my pocket without locking the screen. when i heard it surfing around the menues i took it back up and tried to take it back to homescreen. As many times before the phone refused to respond so i took out the battery. But when powering it back on the **** wont pass the htc startup-screen!
I have read around this forum quite alot now and i have done hard reset a million times, i have installed an original updated rom from htc`s site. When this didn`t work i installed hspl3, Artemis v270 NOR and RADIO_2.07.51.22_2. And it still wont start!
Im getting quite sick of experimenting, so i`d be really happy if any of you smartguys could help me

Flash a radio that does not have ".51" in the name. Flash a radio that has ".50" instead. ***Make sure the ".50" radio is 2.06+ (don't flash anything below 2.06.50.xx).
Okay, thanks for your reply But i still cant make it work, are you sure its the radio causing this problem? I`ve now tried RADIO_2.10.50.28_2 (this is the only one with "50" in it among the recomended radios in the artemis thread...) , RADIO_2.12.50.02_2 and the mentioned above RADIO_2.07.51.22_2.7z.
Should i just keep going?
One more thing. When 2.12 and 2.10 was installed, the phone restarted by its self after about 30-60 sec on htc bootscreen. if that means anything?

It's usually the radio that's the problem -- if your phone gets stuck on the bootscreen.
I'm not sure what else might be the problem.
Just in case, try this: Task 29, flash a .50 radio, flash a stock ROM (via USB), hard-reset.
If that fails, I don't know what else to say...
i tried the task 29 witout luck A couple more weird things though.. when i try to install a rom from the memory card, the bootloader doesn`t start the installation. I just says "serial". And Yes its formated with fat32 and im sure im doing it right. The other thing is that the phone starts by itself about 60sec after plugging in the charger.. i`m guessing this have to be a hardware problem. might be the usb connector as many seem to have problems with.
I`ve now put in a stock spl and will send it back for repair tomorrow.
Dammit, hspl i still there. Is the only way to remvoe it by using the sd-card? then i might be fu..ed regarding the warranty :S

I think so. Someone with more experience might be able to provide a more confident answer.
Are you sure you're renaming the ROM as "LEOIMG.nbh" (no quotes) and putting it in the root of the SD-card?

Hello dude!
Try using a microSD smaller than 8gb and formated with FAT32 (it's a known fact that 16gb microSD does not work for flashing.....).
If you want to remove the HSPL there is 2 ways:
1 - Flash a stockROM via SDcard, like you are trying to do.
OR
2 - Use the HSPL2 program to revert to the original SPL state.
If you could enter the bootloader, probably your phone does not need any special repairs.. Anyway.......
Try using a smaller SDcard to flash the radio and the ROM again. You could also try flashing via USB/PC.....
Do not forget to redownload the ROM, it could be a "bad download".
For more info take a look here:

Good luck!!
maybe a fix

hello guys,
someone at htcedia posted this fixes:
1) Install you HSPL.
2) Install your cooked rom.
3) Upgrade your radio. (Leo_RADIO_2.10.50.26)
4) Do Hard reset. (Hold Vol up and down also end call button) then press (Red reset button under back cover next to battery)
Fixes Freezing on HTC bootup screen.
and for me, when i remove the micro sd card the phone bootup but when the micro sd card is in the phone it wont.
so try to remove the micro sd card then reset a hard or soft reset ur device, keep ur micro sd out until ur r completely loaded, then put ur sd card back in the phone.
Hello, I have a problem with my Razr randomly shutdowns. I have an official RSD Retail Brazilian ICS installed. The device is from Rogers Canada but used in Europe. I am the second user, bought it already used. I do not have warranty, if so, I would send it to be repaired but it is not possible.
What have I tried: Wipe the whole device. Wiping the cache. Installed the ICS over the RSD and did not installed any apps but the shutdowns still occured. Pushed the sim card in to the slot, so it does not stick out. I love this device. It is gorgeous, but the shutdowns are really annoying. Please, if you have any advice it is welcomed. Thank you in advance. Bye.
Shutdown noticed.
Yesterday I have noticed, when the device is shutting down, it makes a sound as if the battery was empty (actually it was not, it was 3/4 full), the led flashes red and the phone shutdowns. Any advice is welcomed. Thank you. Bye.
I'd like to think that there is infact a problem with your battery. You can either have it serviced or replace the battery yourself
Thanks for advice.

I consider this possibility, do not have too many options left. Thank you for your advice. Have a nice day. Bye.
Once again I tried to reinstall the firmware, stopped some apps, like SMART actions, sport active and hoped the device would not shutdown, the phone lasted 2 days and then sometimes during this night it shutdown. It looks like I have ran out of options. If I buy a new battery, will the shutdowns stop? Thanks for any reply. Bye.
Shutdown solved.
Just for the record I figure out what the problem with my random shutdown was. The problem was within the Micro sd card. I noticed that some of my files were missing, or had 0 kb on the card, so I tried to use my device without the card and the problem vanished, no reboots in few days. So I reformated the micro sd card and now it is Ok. If you have problem with random shutdowns, try the mentioned above, before you buy a new battery.
- wipe the cache
- install the ICS over the RSD
- after flash, try not to install any apps, to see if some of the apps does not inflict the shutdown
- push the sim card in to the slot, so it does not stick out.
- try the device without using the micro sd, or reformat the sd card
If you do not have warranty, consider buying a new battery or discuss with an expert what can cause this problem.
If the above mentioned does not help and your device is still under warranty, send it to be repaired.
Thanks for reading and have a nice day. Bye.

Shutdowns are back!
Hello everyone,
I thought that formating the sd solved my problem with the random shutdowns. I was wrong, they appeared again. I also tried a different micro sd card, to see, if it was not problem with my card. I realized that the problem was not in the card, but it is in the device it self. Also, I bought a new battery, installed it and thought the problem is gone, but again I was wrong and the shutdonws appeared. I am clueless where the problem might be. If anyone knows, how to solve this, be free to write. Thanks in advance. Have a nice evening. Bye.

Hello,
I'm having the same problem as you. Almost emediate after my phone is restarted it restarts again.
The last couple of days I've tried many options,
installed safestrap, installed a new ROM with Eclipse but it keeps shutting down.
If you find something new, post it here!
I actually think that there is something wrong with the internal memory or something like that, that is causing this shutdowns.
But what is wierd is that when my phone is recovery the shutdowns doesn't happen, what is kind of wierd for a hardware problem...

Hello, I have not tried. Never thought about it. I might give it a try. My current version of the system is: 672.180.350.XT910.Brasil.en.BR.
I will try the original Rogers firmware, has a different kernel.
Thank you very much for the advice .
Have a nice evening. Bye.
The problem with the random restarts sounds like problem with the kernel itself.
I had the same problem when I was with the stock Android 2.3. I tried rooting and installing custom roms but my attempts failed. Then I found a thread in the forum that showed me how to install the OTA ICS Rom. I remember that I used RSD Lite to install this 6.7.2-180_SLC-31_LATAM_SPYDERICSRETBRLA_ServiceCFC_fastboot.xml.zip.
I think that solved my problem.
Maybe my original kernel wasn`t good and after I did that I installed new one with it which helped me.
Hello, so I flashed the firmware from Rogers - GAS_NA_SPYDERICSROGERS_P012 with the newest Kernel - 3.0.8-g35a1af9 [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPR Tue Jul 24, but unfortunatelly the device shut it self down. I am going to try older firmware. Wanted to ask, if theres a possibility to flash only kernels and basebands on the newest Latam rom or customs roms? Thanks a lot. Have a nice day. Bye.
So far I tried 2 different firmwares and the result is the same - hard shutdown. I realized that on both firmwares was the same kernel 3.0.8. Is there any else Kernel in ICS firmwares or my last option is the gingerbread firmware? Thanks. Bye.
Being in ICS is impossible to go back to GB... Have you tried flashing other FW with RDS lite... Try others FW http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umts_spyder/list.php

Thank you very much for the advice. I already tried to flash new and old LATAM firmwares, but the shutdowns appeared. I am trying MIUI rom with 3.0.8 kernel from LATAM firmware. Have a nice day. Happy New Year to everyone . Bye.
Also custom Rom does not help. Shutdown appeared.
Already tried and flashed these firmwares:
6.7.2-180_SLC-31_LATAM_SPYDERICSRETBRLA_ServiceCFC_fastboot.xml.zip
6.7.2-180_SLC-35_LATAM_SPYDERICSRETBRLA_ServiceCFC_fastboot.xml.zip
6.7.2-180_SLC-35_R02_SIGNLATAM_SPYDERICSROGERS_P012_A012_HWp2b_CFC_fastboot.xml.zip
all have 3.0.8 kernel. Maybe the new JB firmware will solve the problem. If I flash a non LATAM firmware will I brick my device? From what I read on the forums posted on XDA, it is not possible to flash different firmwares, that means I can only flash LATAM firmwares? Thanks for all the suggestions. Have a nice day. Bye.
Can there be a hardware problem with my device? I know that there is nothing wrong with my battery, because I bought a new one and shutdowns still appeared. Thanks. Bye.
hi all
something went wrong with my htc hd 2 and im trying to flash it or update it with any rom i could but its not working
if i update through the pc then it just stucks on 7% and if i remove the HSPL then it just stucks at 0% and when im trying to flash it through the sd card the im pressing the voldown button and the power button and then it just shows me loading... for even less than a half of a second and then show me again the phones SPL and that upgrade rom code error please try again so whats the damn problem with it ??
i tried 3 roms and one is (RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.13.531.1_Radio_15.39.50.07U_2.10.50.26_Signed_LEO_Ship) after i removed the HSPL and made the SPL 2.08.0000 but also hangs on 0%
and the other two are (_HTC HD2_RUU_Leo_HTC_ARA_1.66.415.3_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07_Ship)
(RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship) and none works if the HSPL is removed but if i get it back with 2.08.HSPL and 3.03.HSPL then it loads to 7% and just gives 290 error : invalid command.....whats the problem with it ?!?!?!
so please im really tired with it please any help i can get from you guys
thanks to all...
can someone please help ???
im waiting....
you need to find out which rom is the correct rom for your phone, region and carrier if it was originally locked to a carrier,
secondly,
what size sd card? wont work on 8gb or higher, and some 4gb wont either.
anyway i can find out that ???
and my sd card is 2gb

hmm well in that case it sounds more like a variant of the stuck radio, , more normally expressed by failure at 8-9%, but not always.
try flashing hspl, then flash a custom rom, since they dont contain spl or radio (flashed first and second in a stock rom, at 1-10%
i will try but can you give me a custom rom which you prefer ?
thanks.
i tried one of NRGZ custom roms and one fully updated but just got stucked on nrg energize start up screen
any info about the problem ??
i want to add that i installed Energy.Leo.21916.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Jul.04_2 and it finished but gets stucked on the start screen (NRG ENERGIZE)
i tried to install 3 radios and they were (Leo_Radio_2.08.50.08_2) and (Leo_RADIO_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07) and (Radio_2_14_50_04)
and nothing worked
do i need also a different radio then update the rom again or just need another custom rom than the one i tried ?
cuz the internet i have is slow and i cant try many so im asking first
i dont know if im wasting your time and im no expert and im sorry for it
but i just need to finish with the phone cuz since 4 days im trying with it and need it
please help....
Hmmm, sorry to say it doesn't sounds good.
can you please say something that sounds good ?
sorry, no, , , things flashing and seeming to be successful but actually not being successful, , that's a bad sign, , its fits perfectly with the various symptoms of (what i call) a 'stuck radio', , which varies from your symptoms (seems to flash but doesn't) right through to nothing flashes at all, and very often fails at between 7 (more usually 8or9) and 10%
prepare an sd card with the correct stock rom on it, (or a goldcard if you dont know what the correct stock rom is) ready to sd card flash,, probably go for either a low version (1.4x((its not a tmous, right?))) or a high version (3.14), , stick the phone (no battery no sim no card) in a plastic bag, wrap it up, stick it in the freezer for half an hour, , when you get it out, quickly reinsert battery and sd card and start the flash, , there have been a few (rare) cases where this works. try it a few times, but dont go crazy.
You may just be lucky, especially since the custom rom seemed to flash.
sorry for the late reply...
but i tried what you told me and nthn worked and i need you to explain to me about the gold card and how to do it ,this is the last chance for the phone...
my atriz 4g was working fine..it was on GB 2.3.6 .US version.unlocked but not rooted .while i was using wifi suddenly my phone freeze reboot and after its continuously freezing and rebooting.if i try to power on after sometime it loading GB but within a min its again getting freezing and rebooting.now its getting struck at motorola boot logo.i tried going into stock recovery and wipe but still getting struck and moto boot logo. i still have fast boot recovery ect...please guide me .i am a noob and sorry for my bad english

Try Refalshing the phone with latest stock AT&T firmware available on forum with RSDlite
Before you do it. Try removing SIM card and Memory Card Rest the Phone again. See if it boots.
Hope this helps. All the best
I'm sorry, but seems the solution deathbearer will not work for you. 'Cause it didn't worked for me. Seems that you're facing this issue too (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1656760). It basically says that you have your phone for around a year and your wifi and bt stopped working because of Motorola's planned obsolescence. Seems that nobody around xda knows yet why this happens (I don't know if this is really a hardware problem, sometimes I got wifi working for a little while, but the phone reboots; however, I can't reply to that thread. Will be nice if you can and ask those people if they know something new about this).
You can try to remove your wifi/bt drivers with this app (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1946667). Your phone will not have wifi/bt working anymore (unless you restore the drivers and found how to fix this f***ing issue) but your phone will not restart anymore.
Hope this helps!
