I tend to buy X10 mini for my Mom bday .
But after an hours watching review on youtube, I found that X10 mini can't get the qwerty keyboard on portrait mode.
I have been used a lot of android phone but never get the small screen like X10 mini. So I'm very curious of virtual keyboard which is supported portrait mode for X10 mini. Swiftkey, Thumbkeyboard or swipe? Which one is the best and which one has a big/comfortable keyboard to sms. You know, every times my mother write sms, she has to find her glasses

You could use swiftkey from the market, it has a feature that allows you to enlarge the buttons and the prediction on it is amazing. It doesn't have t9 though, since it is only in qwerty.
TouchPal, it is: resizable, custom skins, Swype, t9, qwerty, azerty, prediction, supports many languages and its free!

Try multiling Keyboard!
I got pretty big fingers too
If you are willing to shell a few bucks, then try out Smart Keyboard Pro (use HTC skin) It works wonderfully on my G3

I use messagease, takes some time to get used to, but when you get used to it, you'll never press a wrong key again!
i tested it.
it´s not useful for me.
There are so many options now. Which one works best for you on that particular device and why?

How do you like that? I saw it online the other day and was considering ordering one.
You forgot to mention Swiftkey 3 Beta ;__;
I didn't know they had a beta version. Just installed it and love it.

swift key is the best!
Messagease.
It looks kinda distorted when slighly resized (default is too huge) but works just fine.
Swiftkey is my weapon of choice.
Fortunately got it on sale for 99c. Even at full price it is worth it though. Generally, I only have to type half a word as it predicts it.

Hi, I've flashed my xperia pro to cm10(202) few days ago.
Sometimes when screen is off, process com.android.systemui drain battery a lot:

Does anyone have this issue?
And another question: I can't find ported stock keyboard, is it exist? Or how can I (auto)correct words, when I type on hardware keyboard? On stock, last typed word was underlined and on bottom of screen it suggest different variants.
PS: sorry for my bad English

I didn't try cm10 before but for the keyboard open settings then language and input
then manage the settings for the keyboard.
For the battery drain, I've no Idea.
But cm 10 rom consume more battery than the stock.
And here is xperia JB keyboard

Hi together,
since HTC desided to take out the oldschool 4x3 keyboard design :crying: I'm searching for someone who still has this feature build in...
I read that some time ago this feature was not available at sony but I also read that since an update on the Sony keyboard app available on google play this feature may be back.
Can someone confirm that the Z5 has this function? I mean a keyboard style like this:
