[Q] Problem with Available Network (Cyanogen Froyo CM6) - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hi
I have installed the latest version of the Rom (Cyanogen Froyo CM6-Latest based on MiniCM) on my Xperia X10 mini pro. I found a problem. Byclicking on "Automatic Selection" in the settings menu of theAvailable Network, I observed the following result: the automaticregistration proceeds for several minutes and, finally, the followingmessage is displayed: "Error during data search".
The consequence of such an error is that the system does not switch tovoice roming if the main provider signal is lost.
Thanks for support.
PePPe.

A bit cryptic written, but yes there's a bug in the newest CM6 in selection of network operators that effectively makes it impossible to choose it yourself.

[Q] Mobile Data not possible with Elelinux 2.5

Hello,
can't post to dev forums, but here is my problem:
Using Elelinux 2.5 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932377
I did a format of /system, factory reset, wipe of cache + dalvik, format of sd-ext.
Then I installed the current version of the Elelinux-rom.
Now I cannot use mobile data. I have a working connection to the phone net, but no matter what I try (fooling around with APN settings), the 3G / Edge / HSDPA logo won't appear and I cannot register my google account.
I then tried to update the radio, without luck. In dmesg I still see error 000e.
Android 2.2 Froyo Elelinux did work fine.
Any Ideas, please?
Hi,
just did the following:
Installed Elelinux 1.7.1 (CM 7.0) and afterwards Elelinux 2.5 (CM 7.1).
Now I got all - more - apps back and data transmission works like a charme.
Anyway, it should have worked with my prior try as well, shouldn't it?
probably the apnlist didnt hav ur mobile data settings and must've been updated after u upgraded,i hav the same problem when i go to older ROMS not a big deal u could just manually update ur apn settings in wireless settings>mobile networks>acces point names

[Q] Wi-Fi not working out from the blue! CM7.1 nightly build 116

Help!, i kept getting this when ever i tried activating wifi via notification toggle / setting, and getting this *"Sorry! Application Settings (in process com.android.setings) is not responding. Force close/wait" message after a while. When i select Force close, the entire page closed and i'm back on homescreen. If i were to choose "wait", nothing happen.
ROM: CM7.1 Nightly build #116, SGSII
Kernel: CM7.1 stock kernel
Android: 2.3.7
Build Nymber: GWK74
I've tried flashing stock ROM DXKI2, the problem still remains, instead, this time it just turn back off by itself, without showing any "Force close/wait" option.
Summary, everything was working after i started installing apps from Google 10billions apps download event, i bought a couple .10cents apps and installed them, one of them is Minecraft pocket (the app i suspect that causes this problem), due to the fact after i tried uninstalling it (from application manager), i can no longer connect to wifi (with that message * showing all the time when i attempt to connect)
Any suggestion to fix this problem?
Things tried:
Full wipe: Yes
Re-installed CM7.1: Yes
Re-download CM7.1 build 116: Yes
Re-installed stock ROM: Yes
reset router: Yes (tho the problem is likely not my router but rather my phone)
Few links i've spotted that shows similar traits as my problem

Trust me when i say i've searched high and low, and none of it gives a proper respond for fixes, i'm hoping xda community will come up with something as my last resort!

BUMP! Please CM7.1 experts, noticed this! SGS2 without wifi is next to unless when it's not connected to the world

[Q] Roaming not working

Hello there!
I recently installed the UltimaRom V.6.0.2 on my Gti9300.
Everything seems to working grand other than the data connection which does not function, 'mobile network state' is 'disconnected' and 'roaming is 'not roaming' under status in the settings (please see attached screenshot) so cannot choose internet, whatsapp etc.
This has been checked in the mobile network options, but this will not function regardless. I then thought it might be due to the option to install the baseband version and I chose I9300XXDLI8. Is this where the problem lies since I am receiving and still able to make calls and texts.
I am a t-mobile customer in the UK with 'everything everywhere', I believe the APN settings are OK. I can still send and receive MMS, but no data connection...
Please help me out!
The Rom on installation gives me the choice to install the following baseband versions:
XXELJ2
DDDLJ1
NEDLI1
XXDLID
XXDLIB
XXDLI8
Have I installed the wrong one?

[Q] No Service after Install MiniCM7

Need some Help!
I´m new with flashing ROMs and this stuff. I installed MiniCM7 on my Xperia X10 mini using this great guide.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068553
All the requirements were checked, and it starts and works pretty good, but one thing doesn´t.
I don´t get any Service.
My IMEI is still the same, the phone never was SIMlocked, and I already read all the Help-Threads in this Forum.
I also tried to create some new APN´s, because there weren´t any - but after setting all the informations and pressing "save APN" there is no APN shown. It seems not to be saved in any way.
In order to this problem, all my contacts exported on SIM are gone. Checked SIM in another mobile phone - it works and I get service, but the contacts are gone. This isn´t my major problem, but this info might help diagnose.
After checking all options and re- re- re-setup the system i don´t know what to do.
Please please help me, i don´t like setting up the old Sony Android 2.1 again - it´s so ugly!
At least, please pardon my "english" - i tried my very best
update
I still hope someone might help me fixing this bug.
meanwhile I tried searching manually for service-providers, and it´s disgusting. The result is, that my phone can find each provider you can find in germany but mine.
then i tried to re-install with testing other miniCM (9; 10) - and it´s still the same result with miniCM9. The miniCM10 doesn´t finish the setup-wizzard correctly, and it seems as if the miniCM10 would create the system on my SD-card and not on the internal memory.
so, yesterday i got used to having a broken phone, i tried CM7-robyn (not the mini-version), and the display just showed some kind of "test-screen"...

Define APN during initial setup

Hi,
I have successfully flashed a new ROM (RROS 5.8, Android 7.1) on my P9 and I'm now at the inital Androd setup.
I do not have any available WiFi, and the mobile data is not available yet, due to a missing APN definition for my provider, so the configurator is stuck at "Activating cellular service..."
Is there a way to define an APN, as I would normally do in Settings menu?
Alternatively, can the setup be skipped?
Thanks, leodp
