Hi all,
I have been runnig CM 7.0 for about a week now and love it. Today when I booted up my gtab, a few widgets were missing and the message Problem Loading Widget was in their place. Any ideas on what may have happened and how to remedy? Other than that, it still works fine.
Thank you.
Are you using stock launcher?
Look at this thread.

I'm still very new to android but I wanted to know if anyone is experiencing this same problem. whenever i swipe left/right at home to back/forth between diff. desktops, the contacts and call button do not go away. It's particularly annoying... Has anyone else had to experience this? is it a general android problem? Is there a fix for it?
I have attached a screenshot. Look at the bottom how they are overlapping.
Are you sure they're not part of your wall paper?

looks to me as tho you've installed launcher pro, and havent set it as the default home launcher, what u can do is download an app such as Home Switcher, and choose launcher pro as the default launcher for the phone, this should get rid of the default Blue launcher which is what you are seeing in the background
i installed launcher pro before and then restored the phone to factory settings because it happened a few days ago... so after that, i decided to stay away from launcher pro because i figured it might have had some bugs since the Atrix is brand new, blah blah blah.. Well, without touching launcher pro, it just happened again earlier today... I didn't install anything either. I might have unplugged the phone or something but other than that i have not installed any new apps today... I cannot remove it through the apps and it's not a part of the background... What can I do to fix this? There has to be some easier way than reseting to factory everytime? anyone else have any ideas? am i the only one experiencing this so far?
I still get the same problem... I find that when I go into the running application 'Home' and click clear data, the problem is solved. My icons and all my desktops are also cleared... Is there some sort of config file I could edit instead of losing my icons everytime this bug occurs? I also don't have launcher pro or any other launcher app installed atm.
i'd do another factory restore if not take it back to ATT if u bought it from them.
were you rooted before, and did you install the custom rom?
Both times it happened, I was rooted. I never installed the custom rom. I'm still trying to look into what's going on and see if I can find a config file that I can edit to change it.
Same problem with my new ATRIX
Hey everyone, I just bought the Atrix last week and had problems with it freezing right out of the box. The next day I noticed that the direction arrows that pop up when switching screens would pop up and overlap my call and contact buttons instead of them dissapearing just like he said. So I went and got it replaced yesterday and all last night and all today my phone was working flawlessly and I was very impressed and thought I must of had a dud until just now my phone froze while playing a game. GRRR not this again So I was forced to take out the battery to restart it and then I scrolled over to the next screen and the stupid arrows were overlapping the call and contact button again I think this must be a common problem. Two phones in a row this has happened. This is kind of pissing me off. Surely more than just the two of us must have this problem? And no I haven't done any of the things you guys said could have caused the problem. The first time it happened I hadn't downloaded anything other than facebook or ebuddy.
I was super excited for the atrix but now am wondering if I should have got something else.
So it turns out that it may have been a program called mixzing music player thatwas causing the problem. After having some problems with the app I removed it and reset my phone and the problem has resolved itself. If anyone with the same problem has mixzing on their phone I strongly recommend using something like winamp instead. My phone works great now and Bell finally released an update today aswell
Hi all, first post for me. Newbie issue, I downloaded the Adobe Flash 10.1 reader and had the icon displayed on my screen. After shutting down unit and restarting it, the icon is missing. I've uninstalled & reinstalled it several times but same issue, any ideas? A70IT. Thanks,
where is the icon now not displayed?
can you play flash at all still?
try going to the youtube.com and playing a movie in your browser.
also, try installing the new flash 10.2 that was leaked this week.

Thanks CarsnGadgets, just installed 10.2 and all is well. Thanks again........
Flash never had an icon on the homescreen or app drawer.... AFAIK
thats why I asked,
I thought maybe it was missing from the webpages he was looking at, the on demand place holder thing, but sounds like flash 10.2 has sorted whatever problem he had.
Hi Guys,
Not sure if this happened to anyone yet. I looked through the threads but couldn't find anything.
Issue: Apps sometimes do not launch and require a restart.
Has this issue happened to anyone? Let me know if you have a fix. I thought it might be a problem with a patch or kernel. But my coworker is running stock and has the same problem.
Thanks...

I've had the same problem. It happened on a stock touchpad, just after installing the case, and placing on the touchstone. The app that would not open was the AccuWeather for touchpad.
I solved this by deleting the app, and re-downloading it. So far no problems.
fyi, just received the touchpad on 9/27.
thanks.....
I had the same issue and had a feeling that Accuweather was the issue considering it was not updating properly when on the touchstone.
Hi all, first of all, I understand this is my first post and I'm already asking for help and I understand I may have posted this in the incorrect thread, however, today I purchased a the Arnova 10.1 for my fiancée, I had a look at the arctools I see people talking about on forums here and there but it just doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong, am I looking at the wrong forums or searching the wrong things for my tablet.
Basically I'm just hoping someone else has got the same tablet and knows what they're doing, if this is you, I just want to know if I can successfully get the market running and some secondary launcher (ADW, Launcher Pro etc) running without any hickups, also, is root possible? Can CM7 be successfully be installed on the 10.1 and any other cool stuff wouldn't go a miss...
Arctools works, atleast worked for me.
I am like a noob on this tablet. Got it like 2 days back. Turned on wifi, went into arctools, selected the version stock with root, then clicked download, and then it went about installing it. I remember having to leave it at some junk screen while it rebooted twice before showing me home screen on third boot up.
Then I realized one thing: the google apps that weren't installed were installed at this time, with the reason being now the tablet is rooted.
So maybe cos your tablet isn't rooted yet, that app is kinda useless. Some options didn't work for me either, but I am happy it installed a custom rooted rom and installed the base market app and other apps.
I am currently using GoLauncher.
Installed Tibu, and deleted/froze the apps I don't want like stock launcher, etc.
I was checking out other launchers yesterday and found Mini Launcher. It seemed pretty cool, has a sidebar that shows weather and recent apps and stuff... anyway, it killed my wifi. I did some research and found a thread on another forum about wpa_supplicant.conf being messed up. It said to delete it and reboot and a new one would be generated. I did. It did. Still didn't work. Uninstalled Mini Launcher and did it again. STILL didn't work.
So today I downloaded a stock rom from XDA, pulled the wap_supplicant.conf file and put it back where it was supposed to go. Bingo... wifi works flawlessly again. I guess this is more of a warning to you if you haven't experienced this before... and as a bonus, here is the file for you...
