Has anyone tried runescape with 3.0 ROM's ?...I'm not sure if java is working on those or not but I'm trying to configure an idea on how to play on my g tab, any suggestions / help would be greatly appreciated.
its safe to say 3.0 roms will have many problems till we get source. even the 3.0 tablets coming out still have issues.
hope ice cream sandwich comes out soon

sounds tasty ...but does anyone have any computer sharing techniques that may work if that's that case?

I have been playing with the new honeycomb build that Divine_Madcat posted and love it! (Great work to all of those guys!), however, that means the wife got to see Google Body working on that build and wants it on her nook.
I don't think she is ready to use honeycomb yet, and is currently on CM7, has anyone been able to get Google Body working on CM7? I saw someone at work that could get it to open, but not drill in, but he doesn't remember how, and I can get it to install changing the sdk, but it just FCs when I launch it.
Thanks in advance!
Please, someone respond, someone HELP! need to get this thing on my G2.
and a very BIG THANX in advance
Last time I checked, someone correct me if I'm wrong, the honeycomb build we have access to doesn't have graphics acceleration. Just stick to gingerbread for now and wait.

Yep, it is working great on the Nook running Honeycomb (the wife's runs CM7).
I believe it requires Honeycomb as there may be API's or something its calling that GB doesnt have.
It likely requires fragments, which are new to the Honeycomb framework.

He actually stated that for alpha 3.0 version so it doesn't mean anything. It's just there to prevent people from telling him, "HEY MANNN DO U NOE ICE CREAM SAND WICH IS OUT????!1 WORK ON IT PLZ"
just follow @dalingrin on twitter
easiest way to keep up-to-date on CM development for TP
I'mm running it now, upgrade went fine and everything seems to be running ok.
trying this on my tablet and the xron on my wifes.. curious to see how it ends up.. LOL

had 2 random reboots when i was trying to adjust the wifi.. odd
I'd be willing to bet ICS will come eventually (keyword there though, eventually). The hardest part of getting many ports running is often the camera and GPS, and obviously nobody with touchpads cares about either of those. Considering how well CM7 runs I think we'll see ICS in a few months
as you wait i believe most are enjoying the amazing work that is being put out both the update on the 3.5 -- and xron -- and even newly made miui is gettin raves.. so have fun waiting
#imjustsaying
solid 3.5 and xron work =)
So far, amazing. 3d performance is improved (again), and wifi seems fine. No reason not to upgrade if you ask me...

I got it running with no problems so far.
Is anyone else getting intermittent wifi disconnects? Only way to fix it is to physically turn off wifi and turn it back on...anyone?

I have a major problem with the update and suggest not using it until the problem is resolved.
I installed first on my 32gb which was running 3.0. After the install I noticed a message that my sd card was unmounted. I tried various fixes with no success. In web os, all files show up fine. In CM7, nothing shows up when I try to connect the TP to my computer.
Being rather foolish, I decided to try the upgrade on my 16gb to see if there was a quirk on my 32 gb or if there was a problem with 3.5 upgrade.
Sadly, I now have two TPs saying the sd card is not mounted.
I'm trying to develop on Joelz ICS build but I can't get eclipse and adb to detect my phone. Anyone else having that issue? I don't know how to do this otherwise.

Thanks for responding to my posts. Yeah it is working now somehow?? The app itself looks horrible (kinda like when you try to view web pages and email) but I figure that will just be fixed in later releases.
Hello all!
First: sorry for my not quite good english.
Second: I have some type of problem. Actually I have on my SGS Vibrant ROM: Simply Honey Revolution 5.0 based on 2.3.4 android version. Now I'm thinking about uprage to some of ICS versions, like: ICS Passion v12 or Team ICSSGS RC4.1. I don't know what rom is better for me.
In 2.3.4 rom I have almost everything working, except GPS and front camera. Battery life is very good for me. I don't want new issues.
So, someone can help me to decide what I should do? Make upgrade to ICS (and what rom is better for me?) or stay at Simply Honey rom?
Thanks for advice!
Regards.
I had froyo and tried CM7. Didnt like much and went straight to ICS Passion. No regret at all, smoother, faster. It has the mute/unmute issue and you also need to reboot in order that GPS works. But still think that its better than GB 2.3.4 ROM. Didnt try ICSSGS, just Doc's (didnt like that much) and Passion so if you do try ICSSGS, give your thought.
the devs for ICSSGS dont actually have the vibrant. its a port from the i9000 and built off aosp. ics passion is built for the vibrant off cm9 framework. imho, ics passion or ecstasy are the best.
Ahh I see. So, for me better option is make upgrade to ICS. So I will try it. I hope that I won't be disappointed.
Thanks!

ICS beats any previous Android version by a mile.
The only thing that MIGHT suffer is your gaming performance. I've found that certain games my phone should play don't play as smoothly as intended (I'm talking about graphics intensive games here, like MC3, GTA 3, 9MM). The ROM is still in BETA and there are still some things to work out, but it's a very smooth experience overall.

Yes , Wrong.
Only reason not to go ICS is if you want the CM7 extras like permissions management. Passion or, if you want straight AOSP source, ICSSGS. Good luck.
These ice cream sandwich roms are pretty impressive and run very smooth when installed properly... The passion rom is no longer in beta and is pretty smooth for me.. Everything works except the gps after deep sleep.. Even the mute/unmute issue has been fixed!

Well some guy over HTC Sensation forums was able to get Google Now working on any rooted device with ICS.
Here is the link to thread with the apk and the instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749045
Well I know we don't even have a working microphone on our ICS build, but at least we can type things in... worth trying I think. Well I'm currently on FROYO so i wont be able to test it any soon, any one currently on ICS might test it and give a feedback.
For those who don't know what google now is, its a freakin' cool personal assistant made by google, which is supposed to be working on Jelly Bean, but now is working on ICS too. Here is a vid of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHkhp6BwnGo&feature=player_embedded.
I tried it already yesterday. It is working but very slow in opening but good in responding.
Very slow app :-(
