Can somebody do me a favor, and upload the first 2 sample photos, the stock HTC images in the Camera Shots gallery, located at /mnt/sdcard/DCIM/100MEDIA?
I was trying to move the sample pics to another location (but still keep them), so I can just have the photos I take in the Camera Shots gallery. Genius that I am, I managed to delete the first 2 sample photos instead of move them.
Not a huge deal of course, but I'm a bit of a completionist. It would be greatly appreciated if someone can do this. Thanks in advance.
samples 01 and 02?
sent you a pm.
Thanks a bunch!

Hi guys! I'm new here. I've tried the upgrade posted here for my xdaII to xdaIIs with the WM2003 SE. Unfortunately, the camera zoom capability has been lost. I've searched for solutions in the threads but, can't find one. Or maybe just haven't seen it. Can anyone help me with this please?
Thanks in advance!
Additional info:
The zoom works in VIDEO mode but for PHOTO mode it doesn't...
What picture size do you have set up for the camera? If it's the largest selectable one then you won't be able to zoom...when you try and zoom does it make a noise or does it do nothing?
Cheers
Anthony
Thanks for the reply... I just realized checking the size because you asked about it. It was indeed on the "Large" setting. When I tried lowering to medium and small, the zoom worked! Though I'm not sure if it zooms as many times as it did before but, I'm happy I have zoom anyway so it's ok.
Thanks again! Your question did the trick...
digital zoom is a scam you can just do it yourself with most image viewers and editors both on pocketpc's and on pc's or whatever
True, good point.. Thanks...
Helps somewhat though... But, yes, I agree, working on it straight off of a good image viewer does a better job.
like the Subject says. I have some neat pictures to share in that post in general about well sharing your 3d photos but i am clueless as to how to use dl drop box to share with. ive looked on google and bing but it doesnt provide me with an answer.
thanks
****got it figured out, but i dont know how to delete my post. thanks anyways****
I know with music you can look at the mp3 file with a program to see exactly when it was created and also check to see if the they changed m3u data. Is there something out there for pictures?
Basically someone sent me a picture, but right now I'm questioning if they actually took just then of the object, or was there a time lapse and they're claiming it as recent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Never mind. Google is my friend. This can be closed. I don't know if I can do it myself with this app. I don't see the option.
An exif viewer would probably be your best bet for an app.

Sounds like it may be a fat chick. She's sending you a pic when she was skinny.
No. I ask your mom to stop sending me pics a long time ago. But do send her my regards when you see her.
Exif app seems to work from the market. I was able to confirm that indeed the capture did take place during the event. The only problem is the program on the market is a little crued. Best option I've found thus far is to just use the program on windows. It's time consuming, but works.
Ok, found two apps that will show the exif details on your image. Both work great, but one is more vibrant with their color scheme.

I'm taking pictures with my Note2 at 3264X2448 (8M) resolution, but when I upload them via the Gallery to Picasa, they keep coming in at 800X600. I want to upload them at full size. I can't find a setting anywhere to change this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It seems like no one else is having this issue, or no one else is using Picasa. I scoured the web and couldn't find anyone else with this problem for any devices, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
What online photo storage services are people using?
I have a problem that i have looked and looked and can't find any answer for it so hoping some experts here might have the answer.
I need to recover a photo of my dog which although is set as profile photo the original on my sd card is deleted and i would like to recover it before i reset the phone back to factory.
My understanding of this is that the photo is stored in the database of android contacts which is why it doesn't show up in gallery or any other file finding or photo finding apps. I would love to extract it as the dog has passed away and it's one of my favourites of him.
Please can you tell me how to extract the photo or if i am wrong regarding the location can anyone help me find it and remove it?
Yours in Hope:good:
I'll be in your Google account if you are synced... I'm not sure... Haven't tried.. Ever... But just go to g+ check your photos there... It might be there...!

Back when google was trying to push their naming convention of splitting 1 word into 2 i ended up with 2 google+ accounts but the photo is not on either. I ended up with scotchmizzed and Scotch Mizzed which i hate but they make it so difficult to combine, just not worth the hassle.
I just know it's on this device and would love to get it off.. Thanks anyway:good:
It should be in the Google contacts (if you are synced).
If you can't find it anywhere, you can always take a screenshot of the screen and then edit the image to get only the picture.
This is what I've had to do and with a bit of cropping it's not bad but was wanting to know if I could access the original in the hope it was maybe a better quality. Thanks very much for the reply anyway.
