This is a great toy. Almost makes no root ok. The real question is, is there a computer monitor that can view the 3d pics?

Getting the same, you'd think for a dual core should be no lag.

Not having any lag issues, this thing is as smooth as butter

I lag in every app. Did a hard reset and it didn't help. Probably not keeping this phone, my OG didn't lag this bad honest.

Yeah my EVO shift runs the market more smoothly than this phone. I'm sick if sense already I need cm7
My EVO 3d runs as smooth as butter, the EVO 3d rocks period
I recently got my Evo 3D after having an Epic for a year.
I can't seem to get a decent picture. They all come out fuzzy. Also I was wondering if there are different scenes (outdoor, beach, party, indoor..etc. )
So, is there another app to help with these issues or an I missing something?

Flash the amaze camera, its much better

It helps to tap the screen and let the box turn green before taking the pic. To me, the evo seems to have troubles with low light situations.

Is there a way to flip the car mode orientation? I can't find it. I would rather have my phone the other way, to get the cords out of my immediate view.
Both vlingo and HTC car mode auto orient to landscape, with the 'bottom' on the natural left side of the phone.
Thanks

Set orientation will be your best friend. I even use it to play temple run in landscape mode.

Thx! I downloaded it and so far so good. I've been looking for something like this since I purchased my EVO LTE. Quick question... How is this app on the phone battery? Have you noticed any big drains on your battery? I hope not...
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Nope it hasn't effected my battery life. It only keeps that persistent notification so that Sense doesn't go and kill it. I personally disable it when I know I won't be using it for awhile only because I try to save as much memory as possible and because it's not the best looking icon to have on my screen haha.

Thanks!

How do you use it. I turn it on and attempt to connect from my pc but it always asks for a password?? I don't see anywhere to set this password.

I think it is a function with no app that yet supports it. Its newer than NFC, I think. Kinda waiting to be tapped into. No apps on the market for it.

barely use it since its not convenient to pop out as it was on the OG Evo.
I've probably used it a handful of times at the most.
I've found it useful for using my phone at the table while eating to read articles and such.

I like having it. I had the original Evo, and was upset my Evo 3D didn't have it. That said, I rarely ever use it! Lol. I never watch TV shows or movies directly on my phone. I use my Asus Infinity tablet for that. If I do watch TV or movies on my phone, I stream them to my HTC Media Link. My TV has Netflix, YouTube, an Internet Explorer, and other apps built in to it, so I just use that sometimes. The Media Link is great, I use it quite often!! I pay for DroidTV, so I stream it to my Media Link from my phone or just use the special HDMI cable to hook up my tablet. The kickstand is a GREAT feature, and I hope the next Evo has one as well, even though I may never use it either, lol

It's really nice when you are trying to show a video to a group of people: just prop it down and everyone has the perfect angle. Then start the "oohs" and "aaahs" as they see this amazing phone.
