Few games I've tried haven't been fullscreen. Is there a way to fix this? Is this happening to anyone else? I haven't seen it mentioned.
Download Spare Parts from the Market, go into the program, uncheck "Compatibility Mode", reboot, WHAMMO!

How do i turn off notifications from ebay that items are ending early? 6am this morning 'ding', 6.20 'ding'
I going to have a psychotic episode for lack of sleep
Put your phone on silent!
Sent from my Dell Streak using XDA App
Yeah i'd worked that one out, thanks
Was hoping there was a way to turn them off totally that i hadn't found.
I never got them on my iphone, and i don't remember them on 1.6, although i didn't have it installed long.
Settings / Sound and Display / Notification sound maybe?
I go to Settings > Applications > Running Services i then see Ebay notificationService, if i click on that i get a warning 'the serivce will not run until clicked on again This may have undesirable concequences for the installation what the hell does that mean? I know it would be easy to uninstall and re-install but i hate doing that as it just leaves junk on your drive.
Just open the eBay app you have, go to settings and there will probably be something about notifications. Turn it off. Or uninstall the app.

Sarcasm? I gave you an answer that would fix your problem.
I'm guessing you have either the official 'eBay App' (in which case Menu > Settings > uncheck the Notifications box) or you have the 'Pkt Auctions eBay' (then open the app, press settings, uncheck Bidding alerts and Watching alerts).

Read no:5 above
I'm not going to repeat myself again, i have given you the solution but for some reason you are ignoring it.
Forcing the notification process to close via the 'Running Services' (post no.5) is completely different to turning it off via the settings menu in the application. Forcing it to close probably will have undesirable consequences for the eBay app (e.g. Force Closes) until you restart it, because it's not supposed to be forced to close (It will also restart every time you run the app, completely defying the point of even doing it). Turning it off via the app's settings is safe and will stop the notification from reappearing.
Instead of being arrogant, please listen to the advice people give you.

'arrogant' i had to google that
My brain is hanging upside down
I get a notice at the moment, that there is 5 programs ready to update, but when I look in "My Applications" on Android Market v. 3.1.5, they are not shown. Under settings I have checked "notify me when there are updates."
Others who have experienced the same thing, or is there another program that can do the job ..
I have looked all my programs through, and there were 5 that could be updated.
Are they linked to the market?
Sorry, but I don't know. How can I see it?
In the topbar on the phone, I get an advice what there is new opdates, but then I open market they is not be showing. Will the advice be showed if the programs not is connected to marked ??

No, the notification would not be shown. What do you mean by: "I open market they is not be showing"?
I have this weird problem with cm7 alpha 3.5 and xron in my touchpad (This problem happened with alpha 3 with xron too).
Whenever I try to install any app using either amazon appstore or other third party market, it downloads fine BUT I can't click on "Install" button after that. I can click on "Cancel" button though. I did Dalvik wipe and other wipes, it worked first couple of times but it's not working anymore. Has anyone experienced similar problem?
Thanks.
Hi,
I had the same problem. Even though 'enable third party apps' is checked, I still could not click the install button. My problem was an app named Juice Defender. After force closing JD I could use the install button. Perhaps you have a similar battery saving program on your device? Simple force close it and try again.
Thanks SO MUCH!

It sounds like you have a program open that is trying to pull your location like Google maps. Download advanced task killer from the market and kill all your open applications. The app is free.
don't need

You actually don't need a separate task killer app. If you open the APP tab, (the one that shows all of the apps), there is a tab there that says "Running Tabs." Then you will see another tab that says "stop all running applications".
Additionally go into your settings and you will find a section to turn on/off the GPS.
and there is always factory reset to fall back on !

Good tip. Since I bought my tab I have used some of the same apps from my phone and just added them over. I'll have to check it out when I get home.

I believe the only way to have that flashing is by having the GPS activated in Settings --> Location & Security. Are you actually using GPS on your tablet?
If not, just go to Settings --> Location & security and turn off all 3 of the checkboxes located there. They are:
Use wireless networks
Use GPS Satellites
Use location for google search
I personally never leave those on myself. Try deactivating those and you should never see that problem again.
Thank you guys for the solutions, Problem solved.
I was able to load themes previously. Then, I tried to load a custom theme I made, but it would pass 20%.
So, I fixed it, and when I tried to load it again, it wouldn't allow me to add it because it crashed upon hitting "Load Theme."
Now what?
Anyone?
A custom .OSWC file.
However, I've even uninstalled and reinstalled, and I cannot advance once pressing "Load Theme."
It just crashes and I can't load anything at this point.
