Applanet works very well it's good for testing apps and finding apps not available on Android market I've never had any problems with viruses but they do happen sometimes though they are soon tagged as bad apps. If you use it you should pay for the apps you keep and be careful what you download.

You mean to say that all the app there are free but you can donate if you like. It would be great if you could tell me about the things I should be careful of.

I agree this is my browser of choice very fast.
I wondered if you prefer any specific browser to use on your X8?
Where do you download non-market apk's?
I use the normal browser and I download non-market apps only here @ xda.
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
Opera mini / Dolphin
4pda.ru
Puffin because it can play flash video (if you install already on your x8). It play flash
very good/stable! But it is paid app. It worth your pennies. Try it.

Apps - Google
Browser /stock or dolphin mini

Dolphin browser is the best
Enviado desde mi X8 usando Tapatalk
For smooth browsing you should try miren browser and for browsing on edge try opera mini.

If I download apks from other sources than the market, it mostly means, that I need cracked paid apps, and so I search for them on blackdroid (just google it, I can´t post the link here because warez is not allowed on xda and all that crap...)
Best webbrowser for X8:
Dolphin Browser Mini
Puffin
Download apps from:
Getandroidstuff.com and apktop.com
Sent from my E15i using Tapatalk
Apps - I use google for that.
Browser - Dolphin and Skyfire
opera mini

I´m using Skyfire
And for non oficial i just search google and if the app was good i´l try then
I have been using dolphin hd for the longest amount of time and to be honest I'm getting tired of the simplicity of the app and the lack of full customization, would someone be able to point me in the right direction of a browser that would most likely fit me

opera mobile doesnt have ads
anyhow
My fav is Stock on wifi/3G, Opera Mini on 2G
Dolphin Mini. It has all the benefits of webkit (like stock browser) but it's much faster and supports tabbed and fullscreen browsing.
I don't like how Opera modifies the page layout and text looks blurry IMO.
dolphin mini too.
Dolphin HD, I'd say. Started with Dolphin Mini but didn't like the UI and Opera had some compatibility problems with some of the pages I visit the most (in both versions). Its a shame 'cause I liked it better, even though it had little customization options.
Dolphin mini, as opera mini had some graphics tearing issue on some websites
you might also try xscope
Right now, i'm using Boat Browser, which i really like. Also a fan of Ninesky and Puffin

Thank you for the recommendations guess, but it looks like Boat was the best one after trying all other browsers, open to more suggestions,

I recommend Maxthon Browser, have been using it for a while now and it works really well. One feature that stands out for me that I haven't seen it in any other browsers is support for gestures (I know dolphin introduced this feature before but the way it's implemented in Maxthon is more convenient IMO)
Is no one using skyfire?
And to block ads, use adfree. It affects all browsers.
