i'm currently using
Cyanogen Froyo CM6-Latest (based on MiniCM) - v5.0 Final Release
and it works great, except for one thing:
when i open the STK of the adapter and choose the 2. sim card, it just shows the "loading" icon and nothing happens
on my stock firmware it works perfectly
in the cyanogenmod forums someone wrote:
"I have the same problem, as described above, on my HTC Wildfire. So, I'm still using Sense based ROM with 2.2 and waiting for solution from Cyanogen."
and someone else had these experiences:
"The sense ROMs work - the AOSP and MIUI ROMS don't.
So it would appear as if the issue is with the ASOP ROMs. The Sense ROMs work with no issue, no matter what version of Android they are running on."
(with the HTC Desire GSM)
i dont really know what any of that means, but is there a rom for the x10 mini pro that fulfills these criteria?
what other ROMs are there, so i can maybe just try a few and see if any of them work with the adapter?
has anyone got to work a MagicSim adapter on any x10 mini pro ROM?
thanks in advance
.phil
edit:
ok, i kinda got it to work
im using the 007 menu instead of the STK menu now
but because that did not really work for me
(when i used the method of using the 1# command to directly dial from sim, nothing happend)
i installed an app called "copy to sim card", an when i use it to copy the 001, 002 and 007 contact from my phone to sim, it accepts the command
interesting to know ,if someone has the magic adapter working perfectly..

For x10 mini pro I have used cm6 for it but the stk not working correctly, after sort time use, the signal go out. So I must restart the phone to get the signal. and sometime I need restart to switch for sim1 to sim2.
But when I try the original rom from SE, there is no problem. STK working very well.
I like CM6 but I need stk to use once more sim for 3g data. So anyone can help me to make stk work stable on CM6? the stock rom of SE is so boring but it is the most stable rom.
First of all, happy new year to everyone
Okay, I'll be try to be specific.
I used to use froyo's original ROM for my galaxy 3, but it's kinda slow, so I decided to look around for good roms. Found out a rom named Kyrillos.
I flashed with Kyrillos rom, updated, used diferents kernels, but it ignores my SIM card.
I've tried to "downgrade" again to froyo, and its working normally; it detects my SIM card. It's just Kyrillos's room the one that gives me problems.
Any of you guys, had a problem like that? Maybe not on Kyrillos, but maybe its a common issue, thats why I decided to post it here.
Hope you guys can help me.
Right now, my network provider is Vodafone. Using Samsung Galaxy 3 I5800 with Kyrillos 9.4 with v2.3 kernel.
I've read something about changing Modem rom.
Can't find a Modem rom for Galaxy 3. Anyone knows a name of a good Modem rom?
Hi all,
I just unlocked my Optimus T installed Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC0 Thunderg-KANG via clockworkmod and all works as it looks. I did not test data but it looks I have some.
I currently use a German e-Plus sim card but the same works with the T-Mobile card.
Then I installed two ICS and noticed thet dont ask me for the sim code when restarting the phone and I also do not see any network.
No sim card error icon is in the notification bar.
Then I installed updated 7.2.0 RC 2 p500 signed and the same issue.
Is this baseband related?
mine is: v070-000-000-mar-23-2009
I copied back my old KANG clockworkmod back up and all works again.
So does anybody know what the reason could be?

u still on old bb?

U think baseband can be the reason? This is mainly for data not voice.
With all other mods I do not have any network voice and data at all and the mods do not ask for the SIM Pin to enter when booting.
no body has an idea what could cause the sim card issue ?

Maybe your problem is Funny SIM problem. Check this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583958
Also, how did you check your baseband? Your baseband information probably not correct. Please check the below link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15309588#post15309588
Check these "Q. My baseband shows as v07u-000-000-MAR-23-2009. Which one is this?" and "Q. How do I know which baseband I have?"

With the wrong baseband, you will not get either of the two. It looks like you are on the old baseband. You need the new baseband to get voice and data to work:

Try updating baseband (v20)

Hey guys
I did some more research on my side and as it looks the one ROM CyanogenMOD 7.2.0 Thunder KANG seems to work fine.
I never flashed the new baseband before and thus assume that I actually still run with the old baseband.
Few GB and all ICS ROMS don't work with my SIM Card and thus I think this is in deed the Baseband issue.
Out of precaution - I am in Germany right now and the old baseband works as it looks. How likely are the chances to brick the phone beyond repair doing the baseband flash to the new baseband?
ICS is cool but GB works pretty well here - the battery is good and that is what counts for me.
Any idea is this a pure hit n miss or it should mainly work but can in rare cases go totally wrong?
Thanks guys
Claas
Hello,
I am using latest nightly from Legacy Xperia rom on my Xperia Mini Pro and everything seems to work ok except for bluetooth. I read in older posts that there is a way to get it going by using a different rom or something like that, but i don't know which rom i need then and where i can get it.
I can see the bluetooth device (my carkit) and i can enter a connection code when trying to link, but after entering the code nothing happens and the phone jumps back to the list with found devices.......
I did flash the kernel rom from the nightly build and wiped the phone completely.
I'm posting here becase I don't have enough posts yet to post in the dev forum....
Anyone have this working or knows how to solve this ??

Hello.
I have installed the latest U20_2.6.32.61-nAa-06 kernel, then the ROM (CM10-4.1.0-20131231-UNOFFICIAL-mimmi.zip), all went well except that I can't input all characters I need. The device has a physical keyboard that works perfectly with the latest CM7 official ROM issued for it, so I'd like to know if there is a way for me to get it working too on CM10? I tried the azerty.zip file provided in the dev forum, but it didn't solve my issue.
Thanks.
