I need some kind help here.
My company uses MS Sharepoint Calendar for all our sales people as the central monitoring calendar.
Is there any apps out there that could sync the Sharepoint Calendar with SG2 or Android in particular?
I would need the shared calendar on my phone to facilitate tracking and visitations.

I was wondering how much data sync's with outlook on the hero? the most important ones for me is contacts (picture + as much data as possible), calendar and mail.. Is this possible? i'm waiting for my hero therefor i don't know the answer

I have recently bought a HTC Hero in India and its simply awesome. For last 10 days i am going through various forums/posts online to find the best apps & workarounds for my phone.
The company I work for does not use Microsoft exchange server for mails/calendar instead uses its own imap server for mails/calendar.
I was wondering if any such app is available which can read my calendar events from that server and sync it to my phone calendar.
For mails, i am able to use IMAP/POP3 syncing capabilities of my phone.

Im looking for a calendar app, that allows myself and colleagues to share appointments within work hours.
We do no used Microsoft exchange!
All our email address are link to the same domain, using the hosting company one and one.
Don't know if that's any help.
All I want is one calendar that shows everyone what's going on at work and that every colleague can edit.

This problem has been bothering me for a long time now.
I have an Exchange account with my school that I sync my email and contacts to my android phone with no problems. However, the school made a shared calendar for our class schedules that I added to my Exchange account (by adding the URL), but this calendar will not sync to my phone. If I create my own events in my personal calendar, that works fine and shows up, but the calendar that I added from the school will not. It shows up just fine on Outlook on the PC.
My current solution is to just add that calendar to my google account and sync it, but the problem with that is that our class schedules can sometimes change suddenly and gmail doesn't sync very often, which has led to some problems for me in the past. I would much rather have the direct syncing of the calendar to my phone instead of through google.
What makes it more aggravating is that my friend has no problem syncing the calendar with iOS, so I know it should be possible. I've tried using Touchdown but that has the same problem.

Sorry i can't help you but i have question . I saw you wrote your friend has no problem sync shared calendar on iOS. Can you tell me how he did that and do i need some kind of app. I'm trying to sync my shared calendar (Outlook 2010) to my friends iPhone, but iPhone only syncs his calendar when i create exchange activesync account on his iPhone. I have a common quesiton about synchronising my gmail and Exchange (work) account with my HTC Desire HD Android Version 2.3.5
At the moment I synchronise my gmail accoutn with mail, calender, tasks and phone directory.
For future use I want to synchronise with Exchange from work, even the same functions like gmail.
For gmail I use the given gmail-mail program which is implemented with Android.
For Exchange I'd like to use the "Mail" function which is also a standard tool from Android.
My question:
1. I've seen that there is the possibility to show or not show different calenders, phone books etc. When I creat the Exchange additionally to the gmail account, is there a complete new calender built with the Exchange rules or does it use my gmail calender? The same for phone directory.
I want to avoid that the two accounts will be fully mashed in the future. So, if I quit my workplace I want to delete the Exchange account and all work information will be lost but not my personal gmail account, settings and personal data like calender, phone directory etc.
2. Is the Exchange completely separated to the gmail account?
I'm a littel bit frightend to configure the Exchange accoutn because I don' want to mix up the two accounts.
I hope I wrote it in a understandable way and not redundant to an existing article.

The email app and the gmail app are different, are independent one of the other. You'll have no problem, nor with the contacts.
