Ok some basic troubleshooting (we need this info to help)
1) What have you done so far?
2) Did you turn your phone off?
2a) Did you then leave it off for 30 seconds
2b) Did you hold the back button then plug the cable in and hold the back button?
u might be having a damaged usb cable, replace the usb cable and then try!
also try rebooting and reinstalling pc companion? which rom ur on?
No problem with the phone or USB.
I'm using the stock 2.1 SE rom.
The problem is I'm not having any update, sync or file manager.
How do I get it back.
Download the PC comapnion from the sony ericssons website....
It is the PC Companion form the site.

I've got a PC (without BT), I've got a GS2, so when iam connecting phone via usb to PC, can i have a phone working like a usb external bluetooth adapter for PC?
I mean i want to connect another device to PC(without BT) through GS2 (connected to PC via usb) via bluetooth...
PC---(usb cable)---GS2 ***(bluetooth)***BT device
Is it possible anyway? Or its very complicated? Or its just impossible

Why dont you just buy a bluetooth adapter for your PC instead?

Hi everybody,
A few days ago my RN2 died, I tried to unlock it but it has no response I thought the battery drained down but it didn't.
I am trying keep it back and go out from this brick thing but I can't by myself.
Apparently, drivers are installed but I am not completely sure.
When I plug the mobile to the PC it goes enable and disable like a loop from the device manager window. Although, when Flashtool tries to install the recovery send me an error 'BROM S_FT_GET_MENORY_FAIL, as I read, it means Flashtool can't find the partition where it has to write the recovery, but then I don't know if it is a driver trouble or it is a hardware problem, what do you think?

PS. I tried from win 7, 8 and 10, and always the same, it sounds like it is recognizing the phone but it turns back and disable the COM port every minute :s
Hello people all over the world. I have my old bricked S3 mini. I have a new phone now but i want to fix it the S3 mini to use it again.
So to start with the story. i was sleeping and the next day when i wake up the phone wasn't working(it was on when i left it). I try to power on but nothing. I also try to reset it nothing ...
,the download mode doesnt work, the screen never opens. i have a usb tester and i try to see if i can charge it. Nothing happens the screen doesn't open at all either vibration. the usb tester shows me
that it pulls 0.5 A but the max A that it use to get charged is 0.7-0.8 A. so i tried to connect it to pc and this is what happen

I tried to unlock my phone... step 1 and 2 are no problem but I can't get my phone into FASTBOOT. Connected cable to laptop, hold volume button up and connected phone to cable. Is there anyone that can help me out?

My phone was not recognized by the computer since the usb flex was broken, the data lines did not work, but the charging lines did.

I installed a faulty ROM which caused my phone to not be detected by my computer (it shows up as an unknown device). I want to flash the original rom, but there is no way, because when I do it with the flashtool and it asks me to connect the device by pressing the volume down button and nothing is detected or anything happens. Does anyone have an idea what I can do? It is a single SIM Sony M4 Aqua E2303.When I connect the device by pressing the volume down button as indicated, the led turns green, my computer detects something and the sony led stays green, it does nothing else.. Help!
Update: I'm thinking if it could be a problem with the micro usb, although it can't transmit data.
