You could use an auto root from androidcentral or learn adb. It's smart to know adb incase something goes wrong, or you need logcats, etc.

Here are the first 3 threads that came up in a search for "tether". What cheesynutz is saying is that, many of the questions that you will have moving forward have already been answered. Before starting a new thread, just take a little time to look around. No one minds lending a helping hand, however no one's going to spoon feed you the information you need.

Exactly. Like I was saying before. That trick only works if the new market has already pushed to your handset and is just sitting waiting on you. If it hasn't pushed there nothing you do will make it pull the dl of the new market aside from downloading the apk from here.

i figured since you can get paid apps for free by downloading the latest apk and stuff, you might could do the same for books. i can get the .pdf file and use aldiko to read them (unfortunatley that and a few other formats dont work on play books), but i prefer the play books app instead. more fun to use ya know? so is there a format (like .apk for apps) that google play books come in?

This is a website for developing not for stealing. Developing does not mean hacking just your phone is running an unassigned official firmware does not make it hacked as you can call it. You can see we all pay for stuff, you don't see Adam Outler jacking phones to make reviews and such. Lol

I guess he thinks all apks are paid apks, so if you ask someone for an apk, then you are clearly pirating.

If you carefully follow directions, then it's never really scary.
One click root apps are pretty old now, they don't work on newer devices, so you'll probably have to "get your hands a little dirty" of you want to root

Probably, just don't pay too much. I'd say $15 is MAX, really don't want to get ripped off. Also, make sure you have some sort of "warranty" like if they brick it then they owe you a refund and full price of the tablet

You can use either Romcleaner or Titanium Backup. Only use Titanium if you know exactly which files you want removed, or you may leave behind a whole pile of useless apps that require something you uninstalled for them to run properly.
