Ok, this is more of a Honeycomb question, but every once in a while when I click on the little download icon (down arrow near clock), a window will pop up showing my download history. It will show everything I downloaded today, and then will have drop down boxes for the past (such as yesterday, last 7 days, etc). Question is, how do I bring up that window? It seems very inconsistent and I don't know how to pull it up without downloading something first.

LOVE this upgrade to my Athena
couple things I'd like to tweak and searches so far havent helped. I'll use this thread as these items come up
1) Voice Command. It doesnt seem to kick in when pushing my BT earpiece button (like voice dial did). I rely on voice dial, any way to turn off voice command and go back to voice dial?
2) Today screen. Any way to add a big clear battery life indicator. I use my Athena so much that i may go to an external battery pack velcroed to the back. For now, I'd like a big precise batt indicator though.
3) Youtube viewer security cookie error. It finds videos and makes thiumbs, but when I go to play one, the security cookie error appears.
4) Message count icons, would like them to be bigger!
5) When pressing on any SMS message from the list, I get bounced back to the today screen (!) and cant read it. Live messages are fine, just sms do this.
6) Can I add more rows of program Icons on the today screen. two just isnt enough!
7) How do I exit from icontacts (which I think is awesome!) but there is no red x to end it.
8) Favorite Today Contacts - how do I set which number it dials for that contact. Most contacts have more than one number and it doesnt sem to allow me to pick which phone number gets dialed for that contact.
Anyway, the GPS seems to lock WAY faster with this rom and 1.58 radio. have others seen this? Very happy as GPS used to take up to TEN MINS to lock at times which made it kinda useless.

1) I have the opposite problems, I cant shut the dam thing up.
2)there is a cab file called qwertymemory & dcibattery that puts two coloured lines each side the task bar.
3)Don't know, mine does it though

Update - little progess
Okay, I reflashed the rom. No change in SMS closing behavior. The screen shows SMS messages, I can go see the list, but when I tap one to read it get thrown right back to the Today screen.
Also, no change in YouTube, when I try to see a yoityube video it says "failed to get you tube security cookie". I wonder if AT&T blocks it somehow.
I tried the Michy big today screen and it was nice, but too much clock and I wonder if other today screens exist to try, and if so, where are they?
I could not find the "tray icons" program and still need to add a third row of program shortcuts.
Observation: the system=>memory program doesnt show "running programs" anymore. I guess Michy wants to go to task manager for those perhaps?
Update - You Tube fix found
Okay, the rom comes with YouTubePlay v1.0.0.7
the latest one is 1.0.0.11 and that FIXED the issue. In fact the rlease nots shows the fix for that exact error. But funny thing, even though the install of v11 said it would remove the old one, it didnt. Now I have two and one is useless I'd like to remove it but must be part of the rom. Oh well, youtube works *finally* on my device for the first time ever.

Hi Michele,
I was advised here that 4.1 is the most stable. One big issue is that it cannot display SMS messages. The SMS message list shows up but when click a single message to rwead it, the today screen comes right back.
Is this a known issue to you?
Would you suggest a newer ROM even though I need stable as possible?

Hi. I couldn't find an appropriate spot for this question. Please move it if not in the right section of a forum.
I have a T-Mo HTC myTouch 4G, I bought it on the day it came out available. I have some issues with it. My first issue is with connecting it to my PC: When I used to connect my previous device (T-Mo HTC TP2), as soon as I attached a cable, two things would happen: 1 - "Windows Mobile Device Center" would open up, and 2 - Windows Explorer would open up the SD Card.
This is not a Microsoft Phone, so I'm not waiting for the Center to open up, BUT I AM waiting for the SD Card to open up with my Windows Explorer or at least show up in my Device Center. It doesn't do neither of those things. What do I do?? What software (if any) could manage my device (Like "Windows Mobile Device Center" for Windows Mobile devices.)??
Next issue -If I want to add some widgets to any of 7 of my screens/tabs, I would Long-Press on an empty space on any tab where I want to place that widget, and get options: Shortcut, Widget, Folder, Wallpaper (all of the above options have an arrow down button, to expand it), since I want to place a widget, I press on "Widget". A whole list of pre-installed widgets opens up. Very fist line, reads: "Get More Widgets" and it has that arrow down to select it. Once I press on that, I see a dialog box which says "Loading", and after 15-20 seconds I get another message "Unable to download widgets. Tap to try again.", if I tap, same messages comes back over and over and over again. So no widgets for me. This was happening to me before, since I bought the device on the day it was released (not that long ago), I had 14 days to return/exchange it. So I did, but now I'm passed those 14 days so I can't any longer.
Is there a way to solve my issues?? Thank You

Well on the first part my guess would be that you need to mount the SDcard. On the phone, pull down the notification bar and tap the part saying something about the SDcard then tap 'mount'. It should pop up on the computer then. You can set that to automatically happen when you connect it if you want to.
For the second part, I'd just use the market to get widgets. Not sure why it's not loading and I'm sure it just points to the market anyway.
I have noticed the same issue with the widget option. I'm not sure if T-Mobile or HTC hasn't released any widgets to download in the section yet or not but it is not just your phone its every one I have sold at my store, even our Demo/display phone.

But I bought my phone about 1 hour after it was released in the stores, and at that time it worked perfectly. Then I got a little uncomfortable with this phone, so I returned it, but after few days after I returned it, I had a "change of heart" and bought one once again, but only this time widgets didn't work. When I bought it the first time, I got a whole bunch of widgets, and by pressing "Find More Widgets" option on the screen where T-Mobile's preloaded widgets were. But NOW, I don't even see those T-Mo's widgets, so there is got to be something going on T-Mo's side then, since I'm not the only one.
I have had this since a few days after release... and only once ever did the widgets thing work when I was on stock... and it wasn't at the beginning and I don't know what i did to make it work. BUT there are only 4 additional widgets available so you aren't missing much

Hey Everyone. So I've been using my Archos 101 to play movies to my big screen. It works fairly well, but now that I'm starting to get a longer list of movies I'm finding it difficult to scroll up and down to select the movie I'm wanting to watch. I've searched and not seen anyone discuss this, but if I missed it I apologize for the duplication.
So far the best way that I have found to scroll is a short press (2-3 seconds) and then it will allow me to scroll. If you press too long it brings up an options box and if you don't press long enough it selects what ever your pointer was on. Also a lot of times I'll be about half way down my list and it bounces back up to the top. I've tried a double tap and two fingers, but this is the best way I've been able to get it to work. Also want to mention I'm using the ADW launcher.
Secondly, I finally ran into a movie that required the cinema plug in and so I purchased it (not upset about that as some are) and when attempting to install the tablet it says that the file is not intended for my device. I've submitted something to archos regarding it, but I thought I would hit you mad scientists up too. I am on the latest firmware 2.1.4 so I'm not sure if maybe they haven't updated the software to recognize that as a standard device or if something else is causing it to not recognize.

In regards to the Cinema Plug In issue I've resolved it. On my laptop I have Windows 7 and it renamed the AOS file. So I tried it on my desktop running XP and it worked. However I must mention that when running the EXE file from the desktop it still says that there's an error and the software is not for my device, but when I dismount the tablet it says there is an update and runs the install of the plug in. Verified that the plug in is there and works.
first im extremly sorry if this has come up before but i have been searching for 2 weeks now trying to port multiwindow to my device. my wife is getting very frustrated with me over this so i have come to ask for help. what smalli file handles the drag window handle for multiwindow?
as i have stated 2 weeks now and all i have gotten is to the point that when i open my second window it opens in full screen mode. neither apps crash everything moves smothly just no second window. i installed logcat to get a better picture of what is going on. only way i have gotten this far as im only just starting to go down this dev road. so after i open my apps i close them out and go check logcat heres what i get:
WindowManeger: drag is in progress but there is no drag window handle.
i get no other errors.
First off after installing KatKiss Nougat 7.1 mt Prime tablet is usable again after just sitting around for over a year. Everything looks and runs really nice now.
However have noticed that after installing apps, some of them don't seem to run at all or they are behaving oddly.
For instance one game ran eventually but took a long time to run after clicking the icon and a black screen appeared for awhile before seeing the actual game, and when the game finally ran it would show blocks where text should be and basically was basically unplayable.
Others just didn't run at all. After clicking the app icon the app seems to run but it went full screen and just showed the apps icon which is now much bigger in the middle of the screen and just stayed that way.
Also tried to Root with one-click root and it came back saying the tablet cannot be rooted at this time.
Any insight on these issues would be appreciated.
