I tried to make the status bar transparent . I read alot.. tried to change stuff at SystemUI.apk but whit no success...
that something is changed at this matter from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4.
Who ways to change it？

Do you find the solution? I have the same problem....
I don't think it is possible atm. I tried Pendo's method earlier and my status bar messed up.

what android version are you wanting? its moved to SystemUI for gingerbread.. cant remember the exact filename for 2.1/2.2 though

The simplest method to finding out what file is what is by extracting the apk and having a look.

I searched in the forum a way to remove or mask carrier name in notifications bar but i have not found it or try solutions who don't work. I have tested too Carrier Name in Market but it doesn't works on Arc (2.3.3 / 145 rooted). How can i mask or remove carrier in notifications bar. Thanks in advance for your answer.

You can hide the carrier name using the uot kitchen

Re Edit: UOT don't want upload file...
I continue to search a way to do that manually. I think that is in XML files in "SystemUI" for to modify the transparency of text.

Already tested.
Carrier Name woorks fine for me on Xperia Arc 2.3.3 (145) rooted.
Please give me link of transparent status bar for stock 2.3.4. I have searched in themes and apps section but its all for cm7

i tried it with CM 7.1 but it doesn't work at all.
Pull out SystemUI.apk from any ROM which has transperent status bar. Few to name Omega by Team Cooper,ICS based ROM's etc. Use Root Explorer or ADB to pull and push the apk. Make sure you do a backup.

As the title says, i want to edit the transparency in my statusbar (Stock Gingerbread 2.3.5), i read i had to edit in systemui.apk value/drawable.xml. But i only get hide the status bar, really nice, but isnt what i want. Im editing the wrong file, i dont know?
If somebody can help me, i will be really gratefull.

i downloaded a systemui.apk that made my status bar transparent. it was for stock odexed touchwiz rom. i cant find it anywhere. i messed around with the systemui.apk and i ruined my phone. if anyone knows the apk i am talking about please give it to me or if anyone has the systemui.apk from mg4 i want that too. thank you
