Did you log into your google account? If so and you open the market and they don't automatically download...
Did you make a backup of all your apps before you flashed BAMF (titanium backup)? If not...
Did you make a backup of your nand (nandroid) before flashing BAMF?
If not, unfortunately you will have to redownload all of them again.

Ok, so I wanna start trying a lot of different roms, but didn't wanna keep losing all of my apps/settings, how exactly do i do that? someone told me to use Titanium Backup, and i got it, but am not quite sure how to use it... -.-; lol
There is a backup guide in my sig.
To be honest you'll learn to live without most of the settings backups you make but the app backups are useful. If you're going from rom to rom the settings will often not work - for example 2.1 backups won't work on 2.2. Sense UI backups wont work on Vanilla. 1.5 backups are a no go on 2.1 or 2.2 etc...
well google saves my contacts for me, but is there anyway to get around having to re-install all my apps?
Yes, use bulk backup of installed user apps in titanium, then restore them on new rom.
Donate version means no need to manually allow each app to get installed.
it works

I had a stock unlocked Streak 2.2 baseband 315.
I backed up my apps and data with Titanium Backup and ran the update from Dell for 2.2 baseband 318. It completed properly (my screen now shows 318 installed).
Imagine my surprise when all my apps and data were still on the Streak and working properly. I had expected to have to restore everything.
Did Titanium do this without any input on my part? I can't find anything on their website about this?
If you downloaded and updated directly to your phone and did not go into recovery to install then you should not lose you apps and settings.

That's exactly what I did.
Hi everybody!
I was wondering if there is a way to install in "batch mode" apps from the market. Since I change rom very often, it takes me a lot of time to install over 200 apps, one by one, from the market every time.
Thanks everybody.

Why don't you use Titanium Backup? You can just use the Batch option to backup and then restore all your apps with data. (you should have the pro version for this). You don't have to depend on the Market (or the Play store) for restoring the apps. Titanium Backup even restores the apps with the market links. Couldn't live without it.
Ok thank you for fast reply.... I already bought titanium pro but if I restore the apps from titanium, will they updated from the market? Or what happen with the purchased apps? Thanks you for your help!
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Titanium Backup Pro not only backups up your apps and data, but it also backs up 'market links'. So after restoring your apps, your market app will recognize the installed apps and you can update the apps in the future when you get any updates. And it will also work with purchased apps, so don't worry.
My silly method for new roms .
Update apps on the market .
Update the Titanium Pro backup .
Do a Nandroid backup .
New rom .
Restore apps from TB .
Nandroid in reserve in case you want to go back to old rom .

Wow! Perfect!
Now last question: i heard that somebody suggest to restore only the apps and not the data, because it can creates some problem for mixing old data with the new system. Is it true or i can go on in this way?

You can restore Apps+Data for all your apps. No problem. But do NOT restore with Data for any system app coz your new ROM will have different system data. You don't have to worry about normal apps though.

Now I'll try this method to change my stock rom into the new Miui v4!
So when I try to install Titanium Backup Pro 5.5.2.1, I get an error saying 'Titanium Backup could not be installed. Free up some space and try again.' I've got about 3.2 GB free for apps. I had an older version installed before, but it stopped working after updating to ICS. Any idea what's happening?

This is happen if you patched the older versions via Luckypatcher
Open LuckyPatcher
Touch on Titanium Backup
Open Menu of Patches
Uninstall Application
Then Re-install
if it's not work, simply uninstall Luckypatcher
That did it. Thanks, that was driving me mad.
I am having apps that were installed using their APKs. And they are backed up by Titanium Backup Pro. Now if any of that apps gets a newer version and I need to install it by uninstalling the prev version first, will I be able to get the data restored back using Titanium? My confusion is whenever I uninstall an app will Titanium make its backup vanished as well?
Regards,

why would you need to uninstall previous version if you are getting it from Play Store?

No need for any backup unless you are doing factory reset.....Just install the new version and replace the old version if it prompts. You will not loose any data.

Had it done. Generally when a newer APK (Hopefully people in here know why me is using APKs with Google Play as well) of an app comes out if I click on the install button it just asks for permission to replace it. But there are some that mess it up. That is why I have to uninstall them first and then install the newer version APK. I have seen if I restore back the data, it is just fine
No issues.
Thanks.
