[Q] Evo 3d Root issue - HTC EVO 3D

Hello So how would I go about deleting drivers on my evo 3d. Im having issues using the revolutionary.io adb everytime i go to try it, it gives me. Found your device : PG81600 <Shooter-1.40.1000, Android: 2.3.3, ROM version: 1.13.651.7> Device not supported at this time? what can I do to get around this? please help.

As I understand it, the "1.40.1000" number is the hboot. The stock 1.40 hboot's version was 1.40.0000 and revolutionary makes it 1.40.1000.
in other words:
1.40.0000 = S-ON
1.40.1000 = S-OFF
Revolutionary cannot do anything with a 1.40.1000 hboot.

It's a gsm, shooter_u, if that helps you any.
Have you tried to get into recovery via fastboot boot recovery.IMG?
Maybe someone that knows more than me will chime in, but I think your boot didn't get overwritten because of s-on, so you might be able to flash a mostly stock Rom and it'll boot, that's just a guess though. Only other thing you could probably do is fastboot recovery and then you can flash whatever you want.
i have installed leedroid now so thanks!
Did you flash a recovery from the root of sd card in hboot?

And you should have down graded to 1.49.007 or 1.49.008 did you down grade to any one of these if you didn't then you would have to down grade to anyone of hboot numbers above

what errors are you getting when you try to run revolutionary's method? you should be getting one if youre not getting the s-on to s-off
not sure what info you guys are wanting, but :

I've done it many times and same results... i have uninstalled all HTC drivers re installed fast boot drivers. still not working

Are you manually typing your revolutionary beta key? You have to copy paste it. Need info. I just did mine. Right now I'm s off and using cwm recovery

When you follow a Guide, you should follow it thoroughly. Do not skip any step buddy.
I can see you are still on latest radio and 2.17 ROM with hboot 1.4. Why didnt you followed the last few things of the 2nd step?
You should run 1.13 RUU exe before running revolutionary. After that you will be on the old 1.13 ROM and the old radios and baseband with hboot 1.4. Then
Turn On USB debugging from settings > Applications > development.
and run revolutionary and you will be good to go.
You can then again upgrade to 2.17 with latest radio by keeping hboot 1.4 and S-OFF by flashing this from bootloader (rename it PG86IMG.zip first) --> http://db.tt/F6iivHSC
That zip will upgrade everything including firmware, radio, baseband (software version will be 1.13 though) after flashing that you can restore your 2.17 nandroid or can flash any 2.17 ROM without changing hboot and S-OFF flag.
NOTE: Do not use 2.17 RUU or your hboot will be upgraded to 1.5 again. S-OFF will still be there.
1.5 isn't a big deal. As long as you have s off it stays til you change the secure flag. You can still flash roms. Etc

thank you i guess i did miss some steps, its been a long day with school, kids, and work i will retry again and ensure i follow all steps.

Do not retry all those steps, you should just use the 1.13 RUU EXE now, then revolutionary IMO , just check again what steps you've missed.......
thank you for your advice it worked i guess i was just so excited about getting 1.4 without totally truly bricking my phone i over looked the rest of the steps... i am now 1.4 with S-off. Thank you everybody for your input.

S-On 3.2.1 back to S-On 2.3.3 Possible?

Hello everyone, i have S-On 3.2.1, but i want 2.3.3 Revolutionary only accepts older 1.11.0003 Hboot and of course i can't flash nothing on S-On and stuff My device was jtaged - so i made a HTC Dev Unlock, but my device now is only "unlocked" but no S-Off...

Q Evo 3D HBoot 1.5 Downgrade can't brick

Please Help
I used the HTC unlock method, had a custom Rom, went to install an ICS Rom got a bootloop.
Decided to downgrade to HBOOT 1.4. I followed the guide here at XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1563342
Until I got to the part where I am supposed to brick it. I have downloaded the 2.17 RUU.zip renamed it to PG86IMG.zip checked to make sure the file name is correct, once i copied to the phone and loaded my phone in bootloader it would just check the PG86IMG.zip and do nothing , it DOES NOT ask me to update. Ss this because when I reboot into android it says..
in Settings, ABOUT PHONE it says I have Software number 2.17.651.5
other info on my phone is:
Android 2.3.4
Sense 3.0
Software Number 2.17.651.5
in the bootloader my phone says
Relocked
Shooter XC SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT 1.50.0000
eMMC-boot
Aug 7 2011, 10:21:40
Somewhere in the process I downloaded the 2.17 RUU in exe format and ran it from windows. at that point I didn't have a working ROM since I had tried the ICS ROM and bootlooped.
What can I do from here I'm stuck any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

[Q] Finding my RUU

Hello, I need help getting the right RUU to restore my HTC Evo 3D back to stock ROM.
I read this page but found it confusing and didn't find the stuff that my commands gave me
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1672425
My CID: SPCS_002
My version-main: 2.95.652.5
Hope to get some help here!
I too need this! I am bricked.
Same here!
CID: SPCS_002
Version: 1.14.652.0
I just need one corresponding to the CID because basically any RUU I try shoots me an error saying "invalid CID". Please and thank you for any help!
There is only one ruu available for the Virgin Mobile Evo V and it can be found here: http://goo.im/stock/shooter/ruu
If you are s-off, you can run it any time.
If s-on...
If you took the march ota you can run it as long as beforehand you flash the SetMainVersionLow.zip in recovery.
http://db.tt/JUdxrcC0
If you took the November ota which updated you to hboot 1.58, then unfortunately you cannot run the ruu.
Once again if s-off you can run no matter what without problems. But for s-on you either have to change your main version or on the latest ota you are left without an ruu
