Hi everyone.
Can anyone help me by explaining to me how to delete a backup made by xrec? I have made 2 backups of my system so far, and I want to delete one in order to free some space.
Any help would be more than welcome,
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Nevermind I found it. Please close the thread and sorry!
u can go in ur sdcard and open xrec folder ...so before deleting do u know the Rom which u want to keep in it and the date when u did the backup ..coz until u wont know its a risk deleting the backup ... once u r sure then jus click the backup u need to delete by LONG PRESS then the options pop so u can select delete thru it !!
hope it helps....
Thank me if i helped u !!

I'm fine with MyBackup Root. The only thing that I don't like is, that I always have to redownload MBR first from the market to restore the backup. Since I flash ROMs very regularly it is quite annoying.
Is there a way, how to backup also the MyBackup Root-App?
try copying and saving ur MBR in ur sd ..then once u flash a new one then again copy it into system folder...
hope it works
Thank me if it helped ...

OK. Found it myself. In data/app all APKs from market are stored. Copy/Paste with i.e. root exporer does the rest.

Hi
I am usually using MiniCM2.1.6 and I am fully satisfied, but I would like to give a chance of the promising ICS new developments on my X10 mini, without removing my current installation.
Could you explain any way to enable multiboot on our device, as NaA explained in the post [Multiboot] [Update 14/6/11] Create, manage and boot your ROM options via CWM!.
Is that CWM version recommendable although it seems old? Is there any other option?
Thanks in advance, and regards.
i didnt get u correctly but i understooooood that u ant sm information about multy booting
and u can that with backup system this is a very simple process in which u can backup your present rom in a folder which is shown in booting menu
and after that u can instal the other rom which ever u like
and after that u can get back of the old rom in that fold and you can restore bak ur old rom by the back up which is found in ur folder

Thank you for your help.
Talking as multiboot, I was understanding the option to boot one system or other, after being asked when switching on the device, without having to make and restore backs up. Like working with virtual machines.
My problem is I have lots of apps about 180 and everytime I do a wipe moving to a new Rom when restoring them with titanim backup i have to click install > wait > then done for each app and restoring takes me over an hour.
Is there anyway to avoid this so they just all restore without my input?
what version r u on????first of all now that u ha installd all apps then tick usb debugging,,come to tb and click on menu ,select batch and a list pops out there u ave to backup all apps....so afta u creat a bckup.....the first thing to do is copy bckup folder on the mem card...so even if u wipe ur bckup is still there.i think u got it...pm for doubts......cheeeerzan yes i got 385+apps an tb saves me jus a click....
Pay for the full version.

I'm not sure you understand, I am running the latest free version I have USB debugging on and I have working backups created. When I want to restore all of them at once with batch operation as it restores each app it asks me to confirm install then confirm done for every single one, so as its restoring I have to sit there pressing Install/Done over and over again.

Oh hypershell is what I need to avoid these confirmations? If so I will probably upgrade to the paid version.

With titanium pro, you can install all you backuped apps at once, save a hell lot of time. Cost only one Bacardi Cola. It's simple a must have for rooted phones .

reading some tutorials I saw that I need to back up the EFS folder but this folder does not exist!
What can I do to restore my imei?
If someone pass me the backup of the EFS folders I use it?
You're basically screwed and you need to send it for service
This was sent from a Galaxy Ace. Problem?
Aw! Thank anyway!!!: (
At times flashing a stock rom and not a custom one might help... and data abt imei stored in efs folder... so i feel no one wud share his efs folder with u... and in the future do use an app named nitrality for making a copy of ur efs folder...

Good luck trying to back up ace's imei and at the same time doesnt messed it up and lose it forever.
See the irony? U wanna back it up and in the process u actually ****ed it up.
Why would backing up something ruin it?

Because it wasnt a folder to begin with. Its a hidden partition that intentionally left unmounted on boot. In order to backup it u need to see it, in order too see it u need to mount it. This when disaster strike. Forget to unmount it and it'll be lost forever. And even if u do manage to back it up its still useless because theres still no known method to use it to recover ace's imei. this have been said many, many times before, yet u who is a senior member with over 300 post still clueless. Thats what amaze me the most :/

I don't think you can really do anything...if you have backed up all of them with titanium backup you can just restore. But otherwise I guess you'll just have to install all of them again

i didnt fully understand your comment..what can i do again? i didnt backed up not with titanum and not with nandroid.. theres any thing i can do?
sorry theres nothing you can do. you should always create a backup once you are up and running stable otherwise, well, this type of thing might happen. you should try using CWM or another backup/recovery tool.
