[Q] GingerDX module question - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

I'm a bit puzzled here: there are several kernel modules included in this ROM (at least in v006 which is what I'm using), such as
x8uv.ko
x8oc.ko
x8mddi.ko
Yet none of them are insmodded in hw_config.sh (unless I'm grossly mistaken and need to buy glasses) - are they loaded elsewhere or not loaded at all? And if so, why not?

Yes they are insmoded in ramdisk.tar

Right... didn't even cross my mind - thanks!

Strange. I have GingerDX v007 and had to put insmod /.../x8oc.ko manually to hw_config.sh to enable setCPU above 600Mhz.
lsmod did not show it either after fresh reboot. After editing hw_config.sh manually, x8oc.ko loads at boot time.

[Q] (Q) How make GingerXperia V11 multitouch ?

How make GingerXperia V11 multitouch ?, i try use D4 ax8mt but not work...
sorry with my english
Try Doinxahs Fake Pinch Zoom module. You can find it here in the X8 section Xda

If you came from v10,modules will be saved-if you not do full wipe

Wrong section. Use Q&A's section.
alop....wrong section
here the solution......copy ax8mt to system/lib/modules n reboot
Use module, i think GxV11 already have multitouch support.
not working pleas help
since the axmt module didn't work for you, it means that you've got a synaptics touch module. extract and copy the attached file "x8gesture.ko" into system>lib>modules> and reboot.
yes my x8 is synaptic and now multitouch work with x8gesture, thanks a lot

(A) Init.d scripts on stock rom and kernel

Could I use init.d scripts from NEO SE.TWEAKED v0.7 rom on stock .42 rom? Will it works or not?
Do i need other files from SE.Tweaked rom instead files from init.d folder only?
The Answer:
Found it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20574274

Stock rom & kernel will not run the script at boot. Try 'script manager' n put the script on ur sd. Make sure u run the script 'as root' & 'at boot'.
Or u can try this script;

What if i use scripts from SE.Tweaked ROM?
Sent from my MT15i using XDA App
First, try to run the script as root. If it give error, don't run the script at boot.
Note: some script in 'init.d' folder in custom rom need other file to work.

If you want init.d scripts on stock ROM you have a install a kernel (I recommend Inteks kernel), that'll give you script support and OC.

Hey guys... i've made a startup tone and a bootanimation for those who are running GingerDx v21b on their device....
The startup tone is from the movie Transformer because i am a big fan of transformers movies.. so i decide to port the movie theme to my rom and the bootanimation which i've taken from cynogenmod 7... i hope you'll like it....
Instructions :
Step 1. Unzip the downloaded folder from the given link http://www.4shared.com/zip/Mcn3atID/CynobootTranstone.html
Step 2. Copy the both bootanimation.zip and android_audio.mp3.
Step 3. Paste them into the system/media by replacing the existing files
Step 4. Now restart your device and enjoy....!

I did this to my X8, and my friends DroidX. Worked on both. My X8 runs N wireless flawlessly. Both ran off each others adhoc. I had to use barnacle but it was really fast when either the droidx or my cpu was on it.

My hub is edmax n+ router and my net is fiber with 100mb + download speed if this work it would alow me to go out to the car with out losing any bars But this kills my net at the front door (NO NET LESS THAN 12FEET AWAY FROM MY HUB WITH THIS MOD)
My rom is minicm7 and kernel is by nAa and without this mod I can get to my car witch is over 27feet away from my house and I only lose 1 bar of wifi so answer me that this is better than stock rom setting

use whatever rom, u want. it best if u use it on fresh rom
MESA feature V1.6 onward
"implement new sysinit which only invoke the script in init.d once booting is finish, not like the old implementation which invoke the script while still booting and can give problem to most a2sd script."
thats the ruquirment to run M2SD
check the thread
