Since we now have hardware acceleration is it possible to add hardware acceleration to the gallery?

Well... A single 5mp camera is 2560x1440 why cant it support 1080p atleast in 2d... I KNOW 3D is more proccess intensive than 2d but we should be able to record 1080p 2d with this hardware

The camera mod is for higher bitrate which is good but not what we need and also. They have a 8mp and no 3d wouldn't work for us....

I think the title of my thread says everything....
i would like to know if its good to activate force gpu or not.
I read once that it forces hardware acceleration instead of software, making it quicker, taking extra load of the CPU and also increasing battery life... not sure if that's true though.

Would be nice if its true

Yes, it does, and it can't be fixed, our chips are simply not capable of doing hw-acceleration the ICS way (according to the manufacturer Qualcomm). I'm not sure about any solution, but if there is going to be one, it won't be the same as 'normal' ICS-phones.

Just wondered if there is a camera app that would allow us to capture stills while recording video at same time like the s3 has? Thanks

I have the camera and video recording working on my phone. Problem is that the camera and video camera are stuck on 1.0 zoom. It won't let me pinch out down to no zoom on it.
Anyone else have this problem?
