Build.prop File? - HTC EVO 3D

I managed to delete mine, and I was wondering if someone could post one really quick! Had a little root explorer mix-up. Help me?

gotta be from the same rom you are using. Which one?

Just reflash the rom, you wont even need to wipe.

Would help if we knew which Rom. If it was a custom Rom, using astro file manager, go into the zipped Rom, click system, click and hold on build.prop, click copy, save to root of SD, copy back to your actual system folder and change permissions in root explorer.

Help copying to system app folder.

Hey guys,
I'm running the Simply Honey 1.0 ROM and I love it. I am trying to replace the AOSP Mms on it with the Froyo Mms because I like that one better. I've done that before with this rom by simply extracting the apk and copying it to the system app folder with root explore. But, for some reason, it won't let me do it anymore. It says the folder is 'read only,' and won't allow me to change the rights or anything. Can anyone tell me how to fix this so that I can copy to the system app folder?

[Q] How to remove a VRtweak?

Hey guys, i need some help with removing installed VRtweaks, if anyone could just point me in the right direction i would be grateful..
This is my first post in this forum, and my first screwup with the SGSII..
Look in /sdcard/VRTweaks/backup
As long as you didnt apply the tweak twice the original file will be there, just use a program such as root explorer or ES File Explorer to overwrite them.
Pleases note that you will need to mount /system as read/write via the app and that you may get tons of FC's after you replace the file and before you reboot.
If the backup file from that folder doesnt work, open up the VR zip and grab the files you need out of there and overwrite as above.
Good luck.
Thanks man. I'll give it a try.

Accidentally deleted stock clock and now need ClockPackage.odex

I uninstalled the stock clock because I thought that would delete the clock widgets instead. Restoring did not help, so I searched the forum and found this: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1070083)
According to the thread, I would need ClockPackage.apk and ClockPackage.odex to get the stock clock back. I have found ClockPackage.apk here, so all I need now is ClockPackage.odex. Could anyone please upload the odex file here, please? Thanks in advance.
Help, please. I'd greatly appreciate any help.
are you on a stock rom? how did you uninstall a system app? Guessing you have root so just put the clockpackage.apk in system/app, give it the right permissions, reboot and it'll be fine (hopefully), the phone should generate a new odex for the apk
Extract those original files from your downloaded "Rom" package and copy it to your mobile. Use root explorer to copy the file to system\app and set the right permissions.

Yes, it is rooted. Also, I did put the apk file in system/app and I got the app back on the application menu. However, it crashes whenever I try to run it.

Have you set the right permissions in root explorer for the apk?

I did not downlaod any rom so I think I am still on stock rom. What permission do I need to set?

Only read permission on Stock File Explorer? No rename, Copy or write possible :(

Hello there.
Maybe someone can help me...
I am on a rooted Galaxy S9+ with Pie
(see attached pic)
My problem:
My stock file explorer can not create any files or folders it seems as it only has permission for reading.
Every other file explorer has no problem.
It's only the stock one.
In my App list, there are all permission set.
So my question:
Does anyone know how to check the -r-w-x permissions for this stock file explorer?
And how to change them?
What can I do?
All other File Explorer works like a charme...
But I need the stock one, because when I want to print to PDF, it only uses the stock one.
A deinstallation and new installation does not help.
Many thanks!!

Mi8 miui 10.4 9.4.11 Magisk root - how to edit mixer_paths_tavil.xml

Hi,
I need help. I want to edit file - mixer_paths_tavil.xml.
It's in /vendor/etc folder.
I want to change max volume, but i can't save this file, after editing.
Please help!
Have you tried making a duplicate of the file, edit it, and then eliminate the first one( after you make a backup, of course) ? If it doesn't work with a Root file Manager, you can always use TWRP to copy and move files...
For me... The easy step is copy this file to phone storage. Then edit, when finish, just copy to the foldẻr then overwrite. For easy do, can try "xplore"
I tried, I can't delete a file, or overwrite / replace it with other.
