which error message?
a friend, ften, has bypassed the root check in the google video apk and posted not only how he did it, but the apk also here:

i know there have been one off errors reported in his thread and hes been working on them. its quite impressive as all his work is being done in reverse compiling java/smali. he posted up the detailed step by step process also in case anybody want to duplicate on their own!

So there is this awesome chatting application that will be / already is cross-platform. But it isn't compatible with our Atrix's.
Any one know why? Just the screen res? Any chance of hacking an APK file to make it work?
I downloaded an apk because it said it wasn't available in my country and it works perfectly fine. kinda confused as to why it would say incompatible in the first place.
I'm running it on my atrix and it works really well.
How is this different/better than something like Kik that is also cross platform?

anyone knows how to solve this, "error" is displayed on screen when attaching a picture/taking a picture.. also, the program force closes when i click on attached images (sent by others).

Well i never realized that the Atrix 4G was really made by Samsung, not by Motorola, until I read this thread and that link.
Admins, remove thread from Atrix 4G and place in correct device thread.

I found it when i search for a same problem with my app in the market, but my issue was that it was filtered for the developer device and i didn't check it.

Just read the comments for that enabler app. Some people are saying that it doesn't work with market v3.2 which is what I'm using. So I'll wait and see if it gets updated.

There are 2 apps with Market Enabler name (with space and without a space between 2 words)

I have tried both now and this one does work better but still it doesn't allow me to get the app.

I am rooted. It still doesn't work for me. I've tried to use it in as many variations as I can think.
I'm thinking since it is a German app for German music, videos, etc. That its all copyrighted specifically to Germany. Which makes me sad.

Hi! Guys. I have been unsuccessful in installing Root Explorer (File Manager) v3.0.1 on our Galaxy Y. Every time I tried installing it, it says 'Parsing Error'. I am in a dilemma. Or is this particular version incompatible with android 2.3? Right now I am using v3.0. Please share your experiences with this particular version of Root Explorer i.e. v3.0.1. I am only asking if it is compatible with our phone. Because I am facing problem with its installation as stated above. I purchased the app from Google play. I am not a kid in XDA forum. If there were no error why would I ask here in the first place? If you really want to know, buy the apps from Play Store and install it. Let me tell you something. Sometimes, there are apps on Play Store available for Galaxy Y but not compatible with it. Ex. GTA 3, Temple Run, etc. So, if you download such apps, there is bound to be error while being installed by Play Store.

That is the reason why I am creating this thread. I am also quite surprise, bro. What you said is definitely true. Anyways, I am already asking for refund. Thanks for your constructive suggestions. I have purchased Solid Explorer. It's better than Root Explorer and has all the functions of Root Explorer and has better UI and navigation is easier and faster.

Hi I still got a problem with fast furious 6 and because it isnt compatible with sola I downloaded the latest version from an app site, it worked but after completing any mission and starting another, it closes suddenly and it doesnt work offline too, I searched for an offline version but all of them are old so when game launches it gives me to download the new version(must run online first time) , and finally nothing works, so pls help me and if there is a way to avoid version message give it to me ,

Or just give me a LiNK that can I download from it a fine working fast furious and if it is offline that would be better,

As other said, try using Chainfire 3D, or you can try to change your rom to something else, or try to downgrade to gingerbread,

I noticed in your original post that you mentioned 'adfly'......
Please don't ask us to help you download assets from that type of site......that site (and other similar sites) specialise in 'warez'......illegally copied (pirated) content. This is something that any dev on XDA is totally against.....it's also against THIS sites rules. Don't ask for assistance here if all you want to do is download content illegally........

Are you going to stop using adfly ? The reason I ask is because I don't want to be helping someone break the communities rules.
AdFly is fine in itself, it's just a URL shortner, albeit one that pays people for posting links via their service thru advertising on the click-thru. Yes, people who share material that's been pirated use it, but so do a ****load of people on Twitter & a whole lot of other people who use it to shorten links which don't lead to pirated material.
Edit - Having said that, obviously with these threads one tends to suspect people are downloading stuff they haven't paid for by default, hence my 'fishing' post initially (you'd be surprised how many people on here have no qualms telling you they're trying to access free stuff they should be paying for in these types of threads).
