I have one of those cheap aftermarket chargers. The problem is it never charges my stock battery to 100%. As soon as I put it in the phone it always shows between 91 and 96%. Is this possibly ruining the battery?

I been looking like crazy and all I found were as high as 850mAh for the Droid Charger. Anyone found any other than the Stock Charger?
I use an old Nokia wall charger. The output is 550 mA. It works just fine. The way I see it is that its a higher output than just charging it through a computer and less than the stock wall charger.
The slower you can charge a Lithium-Ion battery, the better.

I need the faster you charge the lower the charge and wears out battery faster
if you do want a FAST Charge, then you got it with high output it'l kill your battery but.. there is an upside.. if you charge on fast charge..
then drain it 15 precent charge again you'll have similar effects of a long slow charge

apple phones also have crap battery time
I use an old Motorola charger because the cord is longer... charging it on the computer USB takes FOREVER!!! It is from a ROKR E8 and I think it says 650mAH The stock charger that came with the Slide is 1A and my GF's charger for her CLIQ XT is 850mAH.....
I use them all, does it really make a difference?
And how so I condition the battery because I get horrible battery life

I can not charge my Galaxy Player 5.0 from mobile chargers using AA batteries.
Tried several chargers, only one 2AA cheap "noname" is working.
Ayone have the same problem ?
Any ideas ?

You need to look at the output amp rating of these chargers. Chances are the output rating is too low to charge the player. These players came with .75mA chargers and the one you are using is probably kicking out too little of the "juice". Even if it registers, I bet it will take for EVER to even go 5% charged... You need a better charger.

Nope.
Is not charging at all.
SGP 5.0 AC charger is rated .7 A but it can be charged from computer USB ( 5V .5A)
I can get the battery icon to blink with thunder, but is not charging.
Tekkeon is rated 1A and is not charging.
Soshine is rated .4 A and is charging my old LG phone, 0.75A.But not the SGP.
Noname charger from DX, rated .5 A is charging SGP with no problem.
Problem with electronics ?
Anyone ?

Batteries in the charger maybe not powerful enough, just because your LG phones charger has the same output as the SGP charger does not mean they have the same minimum power requirement to charge. remember 2 AA batteries is only 3 Volts and so the charger has a transformer (not the optimus prime kind, lol) that ramps the volt up, the problem is when ramping up voltage your dropping amperage and without knowing the amperage of the double A's your using is impossible to do the math to see if that would give you the min output to charge your SGP.
It's also worth mentioning that those AA chargers are meant to be an EMERGENCY BACKUP and you should NOT use them to regularly charge your devices battery as this method of "charging" and I use that word lightly is very unhealthy for your players battery.

Tekkeon MP1580 problem solved
If you want charge from Tekkeon you have to connect together two center pins inside the USB socket of the unit.

I have a dumb question about charging the battery... I'm not very familiar with Li-ion battery technology.
When charging over USB, the USB port can't provide enough amperage to charge the phone quickly. I had my phone plugged in for 3 hours and only got a 20% charge. My original Galaxy (Captivate) has a wall charger that provides 0.7A. The GS3's charger provides 1.0A. I know this phone will charge slower if I use my Captivates charger.
My question... I have a Transformer Prime, and that charger is rated at 1.2A. Will charging with a beefier charger cause any issues with the battery, including but not limited to life on a charge or life period? I can only assume it will get warmer when charging, since I'm pushing more current through it.
Would you charge the battery with a beefier charger? I'm hesitant, but I'm looking for your opinion.

I have the Transformer too and I interchangeably use the chargers and I have never had an issue on a phone regarding this issue.
However since I have never kept one phone for more than about 6 months I don't know about the long term effects.
I tried to charge my i9100 with an iPad charger once. It hit about 70% and about 120 degrees fahrenheit and then stopped charging. I would say be careful.

Update: I have been charging 'Mi Note 10 lite' with Samsung Standard Charger (1.55A 5V) but the charger is getting too... hot, not sure whether its affecting battery life (battery is not getting hot) though.

Yes you can use any charger.
1.55A Charger gets hot because mi note 10 lite can support up to 30w so it get all the "juice" of this weak charger..
Technicaly the battery life will be even better with slower chargings.. but xiaomi batteries are very good in my experience and everything official (like 30w charging) will not harm the battery.
Im phone technician btw.

- Also is this dangerous for the charger? It doesn't get hot with the Samsung pone it came up with?
- I am worried because in the past one of my laptop's battery bloated because I used a charger with 19V instead of 19.5V. it shouldn't hurt the battery by some experts but I guess it did in my case probably because battery was inside laptop all the time while I was using AC power, although laptop had a feature to disconnect battery when fully charged but in my case battery still got bloated.

volts matter.. you can damage a device and its battery with more volts than it supports.. about amps , the device will get as much as it can.. for example if u plug a 5volt10 amp on mi note 10 lite it will get 5 volt and 3 amps, and the charger will not get hot
mi note 10 lite can handle from 5 to 20 volt.
The only concern is about the charger because it give all the power it have.. but i dont think samsung charger will blow up they got all protections.. your phone gets as much as the charger can give (5v 1.55amp) but i suggest you buy a stronger charger so it can charge cooler

Thank you. Btw I was using less volts charger 19V while laptop required 19.5V, I was told slightly less volts don't matter but boom a year later we find a pregnant battery.

Less volts can't harm.. Laptop batteries are fragile and they die after 2-3 years.. To live longer you have to remove it from laptop when you are not using it (the battery if charger is plugged)
+1 TO ABOVE, won't be issues. Worst case scenario charger may die, not the phone battery.
