Hey everyone,
So I purchased the Galaxy Tab 10.1 along with the book cover recently and I think I'm having buyer's remorse and thinking about parting with it. It's in immaculate/out of the box condition; I just don't have much of a use for it, and given my finances I find it hard to justify owning such an expensive tablet.
Asking 525 to your door, and an additional 30 for the case.
Let me know guys!
Please, no offers in here - drop me a line via PM. Pics/References(100%)/all that jazz upon request.
Have a great night!
You might have better luck on ebay or craigslist. Or even returning it to the store you bought it from?
How long have you had it? Just return it to the store and get your cash back!
Be careful of scams
Ha! 1 post, selling something in the FAQ section... *facepalm* mods should delete this before someone gets scammed.

UPDATE 2/25 1:10 PM: STILL NEED A CASE?
FYI - IT2Steve is an xda member - see thread. He is becoming the USA's major supplier of all gtab accessories. Rumor has it he has cases left (including prototypes and leather ones)
You have to create an account and sign up for his mailer list on his new store: www.electroniccrap.com/store
UPDATE 2/24 1:18 AM
Thank you everyone for working with me on this sale! I now have receipts out to everyone who made it for the first 28 cases.
I have one left - the slightly damaged one for $18. It is truly only slight damage. I have one person in line for it, and no others yet.
I am very sorry for those who did not make it in time. I really wish I had a lot of money and could have bought a few hundred of these...
ENJOY YOUR NEW CASES!!

I have 30 of the gpad/zpad covers coming from China. They have shipped today.
Please post your interest - I will take official requests once I have them in hand - first come, first serve.
This is the case referred to as M1 by IT2Steve --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=943981
Here is the link sent by another xda member as well who did the investigation and ordered one first --> http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=6517573&id=600276957
I am hoping to have them in 5-7 days.
_____________
UPDATE:
Okay!! It's official. 30 cases all sitting here (minus 1 that is mine)! My whole basement smells of pleather and I love it!
I have personally looked at all 30. All of them are essentially identical. I have only noticed that some fit a little tighter then others, so you have to work it in a little. All the holes line up correctly. Not every one of them has the camera "PERFECTLY" in the hole, but I have found none of them that cover it or interfere. I picked a tighter one that caused the top strap to pucker up, but it's already settled down.
Final Price = $26 (includes the shipping charge) ***was $25, but most of first shipment was $1 more then I had estimated (sorry)***
Please no international orders (sorry guys - would love to help but all of these are gonna be gone quick and it's more work then I want to try and ship beyond local borders - If you choose to set up a freight forward, then that is up to you, as long as the address is US).
FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE, PRIVATE MESSAGE ME WITH YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT USERNAME AND YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS.
**** DO NOT POST YOUR ORDER TO THIS THREAD, I WILL NOT BE WATCHING IT ****
You have 24 hours to respond to the receipt or I will give yours to the next available person. Please only order the quantity equal to gtabs you own. I want to be fair to all the gtab customers waiting for these. Please be fair. These are "As is" - I am not a store, no warranty implied, no returns.
One case came in with a 1/8" scrape that went through the pleather (inside right bottom below gtab menu buttons). I am offerring this case for $18 - IF YOU WANT IT, PLEASE STATE THAT IN THE MESSAGE. If you receive a receipt for full amount, then I already sold the discounted item.
Everything is shipping USPS priority and I will do my very best to get these out within a day of payment receipt.
ENJOY!!!

Hi,
I'd like to get one. How much it is.
Are they Modified??
Have these been modified at all show the power button and the Back button more clearly? or are they just the stock version and still blocked a little?
Thanks
I am interested. How much do you project it will be?
I am interested in one as well as long as the price is reasonable
Please read the threads and review the links I gave. This is final version zpad case (not a protoype). All the holes should be cut perfectly, just the USB/Micro SD is covered by side strap.
Once I have them, I will post my official review and comments.
Right now I am estimating $18-$19 for the case. Final price $22 - $25 depending on shipping. I have to go to the post office and get the official amount.
Be sure to watch this thread. AS SOON AS I GET THEM, I WILL POST "FIRST COME FIRST SERVE"
At that time I will take private messages getting your Paypal address, and shipping information. I will then provide a receipt for payment to the given address. If a receipt goes unanswered for 24 hrs, I will forfeit it and allow the next one in line a chance for one.
This is all new to me and I am just trying to help everyone out. All I ask is be patient with me as I have a 10 hour day job too. I am not trying to make money on these, this will be at my cost.
Would like one as well. Rather than coming back here to repost, would you consider taking orders now - I would not mind pre-paying you for it. Thanks.
At that price I am definitely in. I am concerned that I would not be checking the forum when it hits, so I woul be glad to pay for it now and make sure I get it. I'll Paypal anytime you are ready.
I am in as well

I'm in... My P3 is a little too much prototype for me

I'm in as well!! let us know when they do become available.

Nice catch aasoror.... Docks are becoming more and more difficult to get lately. Even if purchasing in bulk if make sure they are physically in stock. Nothing worse than trying to order subverting only to find out your waiting even longer!

Merimobiles.com has the dock for 45 shipped. I got mine in two weeks and it works great.

i have read nothing but good about this site, fast shipping, reasonable prices. and i hear if you become a member, you receive a code in a newsletter for 10% off your purchase. the only thing i see that you havent bought for accessories is a usb portable hd. =-) i use a 1 TB WD usb HD. works flawlessly.
2.3 Upgrade from Viewsonic support [With Jailbreak]
I know this probably a moot point on a ROM loader site, but I just bought a jailbreak and 2.3 upgrade for my G Tablet, which leaves the warranty intact. It is coming from their 3rd party support company, U.S. Merchants.
They helped me through some problems with Tap-n-Crap. In fact, this jailbreak also removes any constraints on where I can shop. Bye-Bye Amazon and Handango, [I could never get Handango to work]
The ROM upgrade cost $90, but at least the warranty is still good. Maybe when it is out, I will be more adventurous. btw, they were selling the dock for $49.
Regards,
Sre
Would you mind posting a little more info as to the 'jailbreak' you received?
For example, when you go to settings and tablet info what does it say?
If be interested to know if they've cooked their own ROM (which they shouldn't have charged you for) our of the they've sold someone elses?
I'm guessing others would like to know as well.
Thanks for letting us know about this....
Intriguing.

I don' know anything about Roms but I would like to know a little more about that jailbreak thingy too. Like where does one order that stuff from too.

Hey guys I'm thinking about picking up a used TF prime and dock locally via Craigslist. With all the problems/revisions people keep throwing around on this forum...I'm a little hesitant about buying a 2nd hand unit.
However, I'm assuming all the Prime's out there are still under the factory (1 year?) warranty so I should be able to RMA it should problems arrive, but I'd like to avoid this all together.
So, with the collective knowledge being so abundant around here - please throw out some things I should be on the lookout for when I meet the seller in person!

I would obviously look for cosmetic defects, then turn it on and run through it. If he says he forgot to change it and can't turn it on for you, forget about it. Worst case scenario is the software is flakey, but that can be fixed by flashing one of the awesome custom ROMs here
PRO TIP: Ask for the Primes receipt, and if it's under 90 days old, you can purchase a Square Trade insurance policy for it. If you've never heard of ST, look into it. That way you're covered for 2 years, no matter what. Good luck and keep us posted on what happens

Unless your getting it for $400, I personally wouldn't buy it unless its
1) Excellent physical condition
2) Has a receipt
3) Has all original packaging
I only say this because of the primes bugs. I had returned mine twice before getting a fully functional model with a single dead pixel. I would say run the browser through some heavy paces and see if it crashes. Also run a high graphic, power intensive game w/ some background programs running to see if it freezes or reboots. Check the edges of the screendurring the bootup to see if there's any major light bleed. Lastly, download the dead pixel test & GPS test to be sure both are okay.
You can probably use a couple of common dead pixels and non functioning GPS to haggle the seller down a little.Yes they are common issues, but explain that if you purchased it from a retailer you could return it, but you can't return this model.
All in all, without original packaging & a receipt, the extra cash is well spent for the security of warranty and return policy. As stated in another comment, w/ receipt and less than 90 days old, square trade is like $100 for two years, and then a $99 deductible, but it even covers lost or stolen.
Good luck, and be cautious!
Thanks for the feedback guys!
I Thought it over some more and I might as well pony up the difference for a new one. Now, does anyone have experience with Gamestop? Specifically exchanges due to defect etc. They're the only retailer in my area with inventory.

Borrow it for a week. Only way to tell with the Prime!

I'm planning to sell my prime, when the infinity comes lol. But then again my father might want it, so might give him the prime and take back the galaxy tab i gave him a while ago and sell that. I always keep all the packaging and original receipt. But to be honest with all the problems the prime is having saving a 100$ isn't really ideal, unless you find a really good unit.
I didn't see any for sale Asus area. If this is posted in the incorrect area, please move it. Thank you.
I'm thinking about buying a different brand tablet. My latest prime has worked well since I received it. It is about my 5th model. Has always been in a case and has always performed good. To tell you the truth, I mostly use it for Netflix and some web browsing.
It will come with a case. Gray. Small stylus from Caseen and original box. It was purchased for $499 and will sell for $400. Hundred bucks off isn't bad. If you are interested please ask. Any questions will be honored. Also comes with the GPS dongle.
Thanks,
Michael

Will this work with cases that we have already? For example, it just replaces the existed door, right? Doesn't add any more thickness so we can't use the existing cases we have? Thanks in advance. I'm asking because I read the reviews on the BestBuy site and two of them say that it does add bulk slightly. Just don't want to buy this thing and then find out it's a matter of using this and not being able to use my existing case with it.

Not 100% as I don't have one yet, but I think it might add some additional thickness. So my guess is you will need new case. Maybe someone who purchased already can answer this better than me.

There's one listed on 23rd street and 6th ave here in the City. I was going to go and buy it in person and try it with the tough case I bought a week or so ago already on the phone. Figure I can always return it if they don't have a restocking fee.
Will post more information tomorrow once I check it out.
Thanks for the information, regardless. Much appreciated.

It does add some thickness. Not so much that you will notice it in your hand, but enough that most fitted hard cases will not fit properly. This is a discussion worth reviewing: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2609406
I went to the BestBuy in 44th and 5th in the City. They're clueless. Two guys with "Samsung Experience Specialists" jerseys or jackets or whatever those zip up things are, the guy kept trying to sell me something COMPLETELY unrelated to what I wanted. Finally I asked him if he had the Qi-compatible charging stand and he said no. Said he only gets "about 2 in a week". I gave up and walked out.

FWIW, I live very close to Best Buy's HQ here in MN. I know a lot of good people employed by them. With BB being a hometown store here I am rarely more than 7 or 8 minutes from a store location wherever I travel in town... That said: I drive past all of them in favor of any competitor, even if I have to go further and/or spend a little more. I do not feel they practice good business ethics as a company, and I do my best boycott them. I do some consulting work, and on occasion am forced to buy a computer component from them. I have had to do this 7 times in the last 10 years, and 5 of those times ended up with a sales person who either lied, or was completely clueless sharing bogus information as fact - in spite of their being the in-store "expert". Good luck to all who shop there, but please don't count on their staff to help educate you on making a sound purchase.
