Try the vitamio plugin vov.io/vitamio/
It is a very powerful and free plugin and supports m3u8. Use vitamio armv6+vfp from the market.
Are you sure it works on galaxy ace? İ installed it but cant open with any mediaplayer!
Samsung Galaxy ace has Arm11 processor. And vitamio is suitable for V6-7 processors! Before your comments and shares please check what you are commenting and sharing.

Incomplete Knowledge Is Dangerous ....careful man!
Do you know what ARM is??
ARM is a 32-bit reduced instruction set computer (RISC) instruction set architecture (ISA) developed by ARM Holdings. It was known as the Advanced RISC Machine, and before that as the Acorn RISC Machine. The relative simplicity of ARM processors makes them suitable for low power applications. As a result, they have become dominant in the mobile and embedded electronics market, as relatively low-cost, small microprocessors and microcontrollers.
Galaxy Ace MSSM7227T processor is both ARM11 and ARMv6 with VFP technology. ARM11 refers to family and ARMv6 refers to architecture. VFP (Vector Floating Point) technology is a coprocessor extension to the ARM architecture. It provides low-cost single-precision and double-precision floating-point computation.
Here are the ARM architectures with families-
Architecture -- Family
ARMv1 ------ ARM1
ARMv2 ------ ARM2, ARM3
ARMv3 ------ ARM6, ARM7
ARMv4 ------ StrongARM, ARM7TDMI, ARM9TDMI
ARMv5 ------ ARM7EJ, ARM9E, ARM10E, XScale
ARMv6 ------ ARM11
ARMv7 ------ Cortex
Looks like you will not be able to figure out how to use the plugin..So better use casiocas's suggestion..

Cool stuff, you can use wikipedia.

Hey Guys.
I thought about the following:
Would it be possible, to turn the Archos Gen8 Devices into 1080p Multimedia Players?
I don't mean to overclock the device to make it work.
Im talking about conventional MediaPlayers like the "Western Digital TV Live".
The Archos hast way more power and is just able to play 720p - 1GHz should be way enouth to play a 1080p movie - the Western Digital TV" hasn't got 1GHz at all.
Would it be possible to use a custom Linux which is just programmed to play Media?
I mean that the 1GHz Processor is JUST used to play media and nothing else like Android-OS and stuff?
I hope you understand what i mean, like booting into "SDE" and boot "MediaPlayer Linux" instead of Android OS which just allows you to play media and make 1080p finally work
best whiches
Erich
gomork booted ubuntu netbook remix on his a101 it is far from usable from a day to day basis
i think it would be difficult to get hardware accelleration for smooth media playback (let alone 1080p)
is it undoable ?perhaps not...... but you would need a lot of development time and a lot of know how to pull it off....
this at least gets some support....

the A70H CPU running at 1GHz is nowhere near playing 1080p content. the DSP and HW accelerators can play 720p but not more.
so the answer is a plain: no
Moved to general as not android development
I read that the Galaxy S II has the hardware to support Bluetooth 4.0. I am interesting in developing a BLE application. Does the AT&T version of the S2 has the Bluetooth 4 hardware and is there a way to load the library so I can write apps using the broadcom-ble API? I tried loading an apk compiled from the broadcom-ble project but I am seing an error saying that the shared library was not found. Has anyone been able to get this to work?
Thanks,
Vicente
The chip supports it, no clue if the broadcom firmware or libraries support it.
If it doesn't, no hope - Broadcom never publishes datasheets and their source code comments are next to useless, and if I ever mess around in the Broadcom drivers again it'll be to stop BT-AMP from going bat**** insane like it does on UCKK6.
Hey, what kind of codecs do I need for the Mx Player, installed on the Galaxy S3?
- ARMv7
- ARMv6 VFP
- ARMv6
- ARMv7 NEON
- ARMv5
???

I dont think you need any.. just install and you should be good to go !
Hmm, yeah it works very well, but I thought I need more codecs, so it can play more formats?
Well is there a particular format you haven't been able to play? It's worked with everything I tried. I'm eager to see the official VLC though.
Actually it worked with everything I tried. I just wanted to know what kind of processor Galaxy S3 has, so I would download codecs if I wasn't able to play something.
It's an Cortex A9 based CPU, so I suppose ARMv7-A.
I am just curious to know what benefit X86 support would have?
it says "cross-platform support on ARM, x86, and MIPS technology"
so does it mean that now it will be easy to install new android on my X86 laptop running core i3?
also i think that if android now natively supports X86 so it would be easy to make it an OS for desktop with some tweaking in UI element to make it keyboard and mouse friendly...(PS: i dont have much knowledge of software development)
i use windows mainly for playing AAA PC games(only thing android cant do for me),i wish android to one day support high end graphic cards like nvidia gtx 780 along with developers support for AAA games that would be a dream come true situation for me because then i could ditch costly windows altogether

Well yeah it will improve the support. But it's already done. I mean, android as a pc os (without tweaking them ). Check this site
www.android-x86.org
The android l is just gonna improve this project and make him better. About tweaking theme, the best solution i can offer is to install xposed and xhalowindow (if its called that i cant remember) and install a launcher (right now there isn't a launcher that is look just like windows, so it's need to be developed, I think it is time to do so with the new 2014 google android tv, I mean to make and old pc a google android tv and make the best of the old device)
The android x86 work with usb input, any gpu, LAN, wifi, bluetooth, mouse, pad, keyboard, microphone, camera and multitouch and more
The only weaknesses is that a lot of apps that doesn't support x86 prossesor (only ARM prossesor) will bring force close. It doesn't mean that all the ARM apps, but a lot of them. Another weakness is that apps that doesn't support rotation, will rotate all the screen untill shutdown (unless you'll install an app that force landscape rotation everywhere)
Had same problem myself and after looking up and down I found the solution.
On the RemixOS folder from Windows open "menu.lst" with Notepad.
On the kernel line add "nouveau.modeset=1 i915.modeset=0" this will enable the NVidia drivers. But this won't work most probably but worth a try. (RemixOS doesn't support the newer NVidia GPUs I haven' had a problem with an AMD laptop worked out of the box)
If this doesn't work add "nouveau.modeset=0 i915.modeset=1" this line on the kernel line and connect the HDMI or VGA to the motherboard so that it uses integrated graphics.
P.S. If you're in a laptop and this happens you don't need to connect output(HDMI or VGA) it will output to the screen as usual the only problem is the drivers.
Hardware :
Intel Core i7-4702MQ
NVidia GT750M SLI
16GB RAM
