I recently bought the WP7 look-a-like music player ZPlayer I enjoyed the devs WP7Phone so I thought it'd be a good contribution, but as soon as I downloaded, I noticed that Last.Fm did not work on it?
It asks for my Last.fm profile user and pass, and i enter it, and then it does a bit of "making sure its correct" and then it just does.. nothing?
Anyone know what the problem might be?
Idk but last.fm isn't free anymore on mobile devices

Can't seem to get my last.fm to play on my streak. I'm up on the official 2.2 froyo and it just isn't playing. It acts like it is going to and just sits there. Of the 70 or so times that I've tried it I've gotten one song to play part of the way through just once.
Anyone know what's going on with this?
Thanks a lot
Don't bother with last.fm they went to a subscription only service unless you're on a windows phone. Ditch them, give them a 1 star rating, leave a bad comment, and uninstall.

are you using stock music player? if you do, that wont work.
Use DoubleTwist from the market, it works perfect with last.fm

See, I downloaded it and set it as my default music player and last.fm is still not functioning. I'm starting to wonder if I'm actually setting the default player properly.
for the other comment, I actually pay for the subscription so it really isn't about that. Say what you will but I love last.fm much more than pandora and, quite frankly, the subscription is so cheap i could really care less about paying for it. My feeling is if you like something support it.
bump.
Still having this issue. When I open the Last.fm app it just sits there saying "tuning to station." It will act like it is playing but the progress bar stays blank as well as the time. However, the artist picture does show up and it will change songs as if it were actually playing.
Well, the plot thickens. I finally got it to play two songs today but that was about it and then it went back to being silent. I'm guessing that there must be something up with the app itself.
Anyone knows how to hack the Grooveshark mobile app into thinking my account is subscribed to Grooveshark anywhere? Grooveshark is like the best app to stream free music, create playlists etc etc on the clouds.
Why don't you guys share your methods of discovering music on the go?
In other words, what's a good way to discover music, check out artistes, browse albums and enjoy songs on the go with an android in hand?
buuuuuuuuuumpp....??
In other words, do you guys know any good method for stealing?
No hack. If you like, pay for it. $30 for a year is nothing compared with what you get from grooveshark.
BUT, grooveshark isn't good at all at discovering music. I don't like radio function in Grooveshark. The best app for it is Pandora. And it's free.
Use TinyShark, its not nearly as polished and doesn't work quite as well but it gets the job done. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.exigo.tiny&feature=search_result

Nope, I don't see that as stealing.... It just works like grooveshark on a desktop browser. You get what you want to listen only online, you don't own the mp3 or anything. Sadly, the mobile version of grooveshark doesn't give its users these privileges...

Oh nice!! I think I'll make do with this first until I find myself a better option.
Opening grooveshark in dolphin HD browser with desktop user agent option seems to work for me too... But yeah, the page is too big for easy viewing on a phone's screen...
go to html5.grooveshark.com. sorry for bumping an old thread
dude.. GS Anywhere costs $5 a month... Get over it and pay those devs. They kick ass and Grooveshark is the best program on the interwebs. So drink one less beer a month and have as much music as you could ever possibly handle.
GS radio is kinda lame, admittedly so.. However you can upload new music to GS and it automatically puts it in your music. So that's pretty damn cool. If you can't find it on GS then just put it there. I do this all the time with new music I find shortly after it is released.
I have the a Grooveshark subscription and also the app on my phone. However the app is seriously lacking functions and brimming with bugs!
My question is this- is there another music app out there which has grooveshark integration? I basically just want to be able to sync playlists, offline songs/playlists and listen to them on shuffle!
Thanks in advance!
Cheers, i think last.fm works slightly differently to what im looking for.
Also thanks for the link but id take it down if i were you XDA mods dont take kindly to cracked app links! Just a word of warning! Thanks anyway though.
First off i want to say thanks for the help everyone. I'm on cm9 and solved most issues myself but I few I'm having problems with. First the native music played force closes when I try and search for a song. Its no big deal since I could just use gmusic. Jw if others have this problem? The next is what app does everyone use to have a video cam iv seen lots of different posts on it so I'm just trying to get a clear answer on that. Last is has anyone gotten svoice to work on cm9? Mine force closes all the time. I was wondering if it was maybe the download (got the apk from the op) or if there is a mortified version on it for cm9 and the photon? Thanks once again folks

1) Apollo is brand new and still in beta. Could very well be a problem with the app and not necessarily the rom
2) videocam illusion, download from market.
3) svoice?

Its not apallo its still just music. I'm on 6.1 but have had this problem since v1.
Thanks
And S-voice its one of the best apps for talking to your phone. Its from the sgs3 iv seen it run on lots of phones

Not sure why the music player force closes. It would do that to me if i tried to skip songs too fast. I can say i have no issues with Apollo though, very smooth and the widget has a previous song button. Video camera illusion is the best camera at this point in time with no drivers. Every now and then it will lag but just restart the app and the problem goes away. And i have been unsuccessful at making svoice work. I tried installing the apk, using the flashable zip, mixing in with my gapps when i updated, and even changed my build.prop to match the SGSIII but still no luck.
Reflash.

Apollo is pretty spartan for a music player. If you enjoy music a better player might serve you better. I recommend PlayerPro, but it's $4.99. For a free music player, the MIUI player is not bad (works on any ROM... I think it worked on stock Gingerblur too).
I don't use video. Apparently Video Illusion is the only one. I haven't cared enough to try it.
S-Voice isn't compatible with our phones. Those straight rips don't always work. Have you tried Dragon Go, Speak to It, or Vlingo? They are all rated highly and work well with our phone. None of them are very good, and even Siri isn't that good in real-world applications, from what I've heard. Voice commands have a hell of a long way to go. They worked flawlessly in Star Trek, but there's a reason we're not using them on desktop computers. The technology is just not reliable. So you cannot expect miracles out of an ARM processor running Java, or whatever iOS runs exactly. It's simply unreasonable.
Is there anyway to play local files on Apple Music or put them in a file folder. Thanks
I don't know If I'm on the right thread, but I think it's not necessary to open another one.
I'm really enjoying Apple Music since it's stops the beta test. I'm only missing an application or a method to scrobble my songs to Last.Fm.
Anyone knows some?

Well it's August 2017 and nothing is still available?? I thought that they would be more Apple Music Android users. Bummer is that I just got 6 months free subscription with EE here in the UK. But I am unlikely to use it cause I am an avid Last.FM user. Any help would be appreciated!

Nothing yet, I've tried a lot of things. I'm still using Apple Music and I'm scrobbling my songs manually using this site (it's unlimited) https://ows.elamperti.com/
It's annoying to do it, I know, but it's the only way I've found to not give up Apple Music or Last.Fm
