Franco kernel 19.2 cfs + zram
Since 2 nights my phone turns automatically of. I don't no what happen because I'm sleeping.
I have no Problems or bugs all over the day.
How can i solve this problem or how can i see what's the reason for the shutdown?

maybe its because you ran out of battery?
go to settings>about phone>battery use and click on the graph to see if there is a sudden drop in battery life

Also, what is your overclock setting? If the phone had a kernel panic, it would shut down or reboot and you would've never noticed.

The CPU Max is 729, and this work very well since 3 or 4 weeks. I put the CPU speed next night down to 600.
I load the battery full when I'm cooking at 7pm, after that i unplug the phone. This works all the time pretty good.
The mysterious thing is, that i don't change anything. And why only at night?
But first of all i will check it out next night, and will report it.
Thanks!

Also, to stay on the topic, try to install some app like Watchdog, which will show exactly which app is eating up your battery.

The battery is not empty or get drained, the battery-level is (after new boot) at 95%. Is there any way to log a kernelpanic? When i use the phone at the day, i never have problems like rebooting or a shutdown. What does happen at night? Is the a function in android to clean up at night like a pc?

All right now, it was a kernel panic. I've flashed the Franco with vsync now and have no problems yet.
But one question will have never an answer: why only at night?

I'm a little hesitant re-flashing Gingerbread because of the little scare we had, but I hear that now just two people got bricked.
So how many of you are back on Gingerbread?
I am. It has always ran really good for me. I'm using gingivitus IX. The only problem I have with this Rom is that the battery takes forever to charge. No other complaints.

I heard that it was just two phones out of thousands, but I don't know that's a risk you take every time you flash anything.

Words with Friends and CM9

So I'm throwing this out there as its kinda driving me crazy, though I kinda know what the answer will be.
I play words with friends have done for a few months now, 2 weeks ago I flashed my Samsung GS2 with CM9 build 01062012 thinking It wasn't going to be stable enough to run as a daily I was shocked at how smooth it was etc.
I've now been using it as a daily and will continue to use it, will just re-flash it when bugs get fixed etc.
Now back to WWF, so I installed this and played it, it seems every other go it freezes my phone, to the point only battery removal will solve it.
I emailed the dev for the game and they said bug fixes were coming, I've had 2 updates in a week and each time it solves it for about a day then goes back to freezing my phone.
The weird part of this is when it freezes I hold power down for 10 secs and it turns off I reboot and once back on, the battery would've lost like 15/20% charge, I had to do this 4 times within an hour the once and my battery went from 80% to 13% just cos of rebooting . Then even more weirdly after deciding not to play the game my phone's charge went from 13% to 20% over a half hour period
Has anyone encountered weird behaviors like this before?
I know that this is a testing ROM would this cause this issue?
Yeah man, I play that **** too and had the exact same problem. I just put it down to cm,9 being an alpha. Sorry I've got no fixes but your not going mad. Ha
I just play it on the iPad instead until the rom becomes more stable.

Re: [ROM] 07-22-2012 JELLYBLUR V1.2 CM7.2 - SPJESTER Production
Media volume appears to be jacked up on this ROM. When turning my volume down 3 notches, it almost goes silent. Did I miss a fix in the settings? Sorry to post this under the "Random Q&A" section but it appears that XDA micromanages harder than my boss. Thus, I can't communicate with the actual dev. Yes, I've searched this site as well as Rootzwiki, but have not found an answer. Thanks for your time!

I do like how it gets quiet quickly, however it kind of defeats the purpose if it goes silent before you get to the bottom of your media volume. I think whatever it is it's also influencing the peak volume. Don't get me wrong, I've said it before and I'll say it again: by far the most reliable ROM I've run to date on my Bolt. Thanks for all the time you're investing!

I hope this isn't too late to be noticed/I certainly don't want to add to the trouble you've gone to Jester, but I noticed a force close under menu/settings/sound/volume. Not a big deal, just wanted to bring it to your attention since I didn't see it mentioned on the main thread. Thanks for everything you're doing for the community!
Since I can't post in the dev section, just wanted to say thanks again Jester! 1.3 is fantastic so far! One of the most responsive roms I've ran yet. Yea, I cleared the Dalvik and Cache - just tried it again and I got the same freezing. Also, unrelated, on this rom mlb at bat won't let me watch games. It works on any sense roms, but it can't find my location. Did the gps fix and I get a lock within 2 seconds. Otherwise no issues since flashing!

No problem. I wasn't trying to call you out, just confused. To answer your question, it looks like you may have to patch the ROM yourself to make it compatible. This recent version had fixed compatibility issues with a few ROMs, but since Jester's is new I doubt it includes his ROM (even though it's CM based, there are going to be differences). See the screenshot below or visit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357056
Then again, I could be completely off base...

The baked in Battery Calibration app will do it for you, but it's recommended to barge to 100% before callibrating. You can also clear battery stats through recovery where you would clear your dalvik. There should be an option to clear battery stats.

Get better battery stats from the play store, and let it run for a charge cycle.

Hi.
I had the same problem with one SGS3 from two I bought.
The one worked fine, but the second restart twice and more a day. I changed it in the shop. But the problem was still there. The akku was hot and after 2 hours without any input the akku was 0%.
I changed the phone the second time in the shop.
But also this device had the problems, sometimes the phone doesn't see the akku.
Then I had the idea, I looked into the device pressed the akku with my thumbnail and the akku worked.
With a little paper I fix the akku and everything is fine until today.

Random shutdowns.

My x10 is about 2 1/2 years old now. I'm unlocked bootloader and running Wolf's ROM. In the past month the phone has started shutting off randomly...it gives me an 'Android System...shutting down' message...sits on the screen for 10 seconds or so and then turns off. Doesn't matter what battery % i have left. Often when recording video but yesterday it did it in the camera app and then once checking twitter. Sometimes it can go days without doing it...other days its just really annoying.
Any thoughts?

Ok thanks. I'm on Doomkernel as well...and it never used to happen on any ROM i have had loaded. I'm going to pick up a battery anyways as I don't get the life out of it I used to.

When you have a new battery try a very lite ROM... having a lite rom helps in improving battery life.

Oh, yeah I kind of forgot that . I never used Wolf's ROM but Donut HD had this issue too. Make a full backup of Your ROM and erase the data (best also reflash the ROM). I hope this is only a data problem, not any hardware mulfunction

Thanks...but i've been on Wolf's ROM fo rmonths without issue. I did try restoring an old backup of it...no good. Then i completely wiped everything and reflashed it and reinstalled all my apps...and that didn't help
I think it's likely the battery.
