I tried to do it in windows 7, but, even after I install the samsung drives, the usb cable is not recognized. Only recognizes the usb cable in normal use.
So, does anyone know if there is a way to root my Galaxy 10.1 (l/O) on a MacOS?

I want my computer to recognize the device as a webcam source.
Root or not doesn't matter.
For either Nexus 5 or Galaxy S4
Hi!
I have a problem with my Lenovo K3 Note.
Can't transfer files from PC using USB cable (it only charges). Computer doesn't recognize and no notification or option to change connection type on Smartphone.
The only way to connect to PC via USB is when i have TWRP recovery open. In this case i can transfer files, etc
Already tried in different computers with different cables and with USB debug on and off.
Any help would be very appreciated
Hi,
I have a weird problem.
I flashed cyanogenmod 12.1 on my old pc. But now I have a new laptop and the galaxy S2 behaves just like I just connected a power adapter, it's just charging. I don't have any options for connection type.
Also no new entry appears in the windows 10 device manager.
I already tried the following:
- Installing the Samsung Android USB drivers from http://developer.samsung.com/technical-doc/view.do?v=T000000117
- Uninstalled all the drivers of the hidden usb devices I couldn't assign to other devices.
Other smartphones have no problems on this new laptop (with the same cabel) , also the S2 still works fine on other PCs using the same usb cabel.
Other than this the s2 and my laptop don't have any other problems.
I can't for the life of me get my V10 to be recognized by my computer. I have tried multiple cables, 3 separate laptops running Debian, Ubuntu and Windows as well as ensuring MTP and USB Debugging are enabled. The cable I am using I just used to root my Tab 4 tablet but I'm still getting Error Code 43 in the device manager. I have the ADB and LG drivers installed. Any possible ideas here?
Hello,
I just upgraded my Nexus 9 to 7.1.1 (N4F26Q, Feb 2017). I plugged it into my Laptop which recognizes the tablet in MTP. As soon as I use the debug mode, the tablet is recognized in Windows devices and shown As Android phone. However, I do not see it or have access to it via the Windows explorer. I would like to root it with the Nexus Root Toolkit. As long as the tablet is not recognized under USB debugging, I will not be able to do it. I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed.
I already reinstalled all ADB drivers, used different USB 2.0 ports. I used the original Nexus USB cable as well as a Samsung one. Without any success. Once USB debugging is used, the tablet is not shown.
In the meantime I upgraded to N4F26T.
Any idea what I could do?
Thank you very much in advanced.
