I got my G3 Hero few days ago, there's one thing really made me sick. Every time when I set a downloaded high quality picture as wallpaper or lock screen background, the picture turns to bad quality. I tried JPG, BMP and PNG format, all turns to bad quality. It is so strange that the JPG wallpapers come with the system work no problem at all.
I used the correct resolution picture: 640*480 , 320 *480. The google phone can't even simply set a wallpaper? can anyone help me on this? Appreciated!!
Is there anything to do with ROM? My ROM # is: 2.73.751.4 146733 CL#61205 release-keys: confused:

Hi to everyone,
when i take a picture with my SGS3 the pictures are mostly to dark for me,when i change the exposure to 1,0 instead of 0,0 then the pictures are just fine.Everytime i close the camera the exposure value is set back to 0,0 again.I have tried a few camera apps but most of them are just fancy-editing-facebook-twitter-teenie-apps (ProCapture is nice but same problem as with the stock camera app).I know that there can be made a shortcut but sometimes i need the camera really fast and then i want my settings to be saved as i like.I searched the whole internet and there where a few posts about this problem but with no satisfying solution.So if you know a solution or a simple app that takes shots like the stock camera with my settings saved,i would be very thankful.
Greetings
Try camera zoom fx
Well,i tried the App but the same thing happens.Anyone got another solution?
Thx anyway
Hello,
Actually I have a project, let me explain :
On Xiaomi Mi4 running MIUI 6 (android 4.4.4) I have a sony imx214 sensor able of 32 seconds exposure time maximum, but on MIUI camera stock app I have a manual mode allowing me only 1 second exposure time maximum. (Yes I know that I need a tripod for long exposure shots). And I searched how to increase this maximum exposure time.
Xiaomi actually sells a MiNote which has almost the same sensor and able of 32s exposure time. So I took the camera apk from MiNote and replaced it on my Mi4, changing the permissions of the system app of course, but no way I still get 1s exposure maximum. So this setting is related to a dependency of the camera apk.
I tried to decompile apk, no result of what I was seraching for, I also tried apk analyzer app, but it's too much complex for me (I'm a newbie). I also made a project on dexter but I still don't understand how to see dependencies. I tried to make logcats when I changed the exposure time in manual mode and here's what I get :
Code:
D/QCameraParameters( 248): int32_t qcamera::QCameraParameters::setExposureTime(const char*), exposure time: 1000000
I searched everywhere and I was not able to find the QCameraParameters.
If someone is able to help me I can share dexter project with him.
But if no one has time can you just give me a clue?
Edit : Attachement of camera properties, here is the line telling me that camera can handle 32s exposure :
Code:
max-exposure-time=32000000;
And someone here managed to modify it : http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=54658&pid=1573405
But can't flash his rom, and it's russian.
Okay, finally found a solution, MiuiCamera.apk from MiNote was not orking for longer exposure time but the apk from russian rom do the job.
Ask for any expert on the subject.
When you retouch photos in the gallery stock, the improvement is evident but when you change brightness, contrast... stock camera app they are not saved when you exit the application.
You could touch the default camera so you always have one point and one more brightness contrast and saturation (and also sharpness)?
You could do it by touching the build.prop or modifying the application of camera?
I'm not a programmer and do not know if I'm talking nonsense ...
