Hi,
I nearly bricked my Galaxy Tab 10.1v by inadvertently deleting the partition table of the internal SD card. Clockwork Mod Recovery v4.0.0.4 is still active. Uploading files and opening a shell via adb is still possible.
Arrogant as I was, I did not do any kind of backup.
I think the first step back to a fully working device is to re-create the partitions. So far I could only find a list of partitions, but not the sizes. So if someone with a
GT-P7100 - 10.1v 16GB Wifi 3G (Vodafone)
could be so kind and post the partition table.
And if someone would provide me a copy of the original ROM shipped by Vodafone in Germany or point me to where I could find such, that would be even more appreciated.
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Brownsen
Same happened to me...
Have you found a solution for this?
Or anyone else know how to fix this, please
Grtz, Aythamie
Hope this helps
Hi guys,
I'm still very new to ROMs etc, but as far as I know, as long as you can get the device into Recovery Mode and boot with fastboot, you can upload ROMs using ADB and should be able to fix the device.
Maybe have a read here:

Thank tjdwowh.
Hope this helps.

I have read many posts by users requesting a copy of the shipped ROM for Verizon's Galaxy Tab 10.1. Since I have a totally stock unit I was thinking perhaps I could pull a copy of the ROM for distribution as a backup? I know how to flash ROMs, and all, but have never made a backup in this fashion.
If it can be done, could someone give specific direction on how to do it? I think it'd help the community out greatly.
Thanks

Moving to Q&A
Get odin 1.85 (see tut in dev forum on how to "root"), install recovery (clockwork).
Get into recovery, perform a backup. Export the backup (with USB). You got a nandroid.
Find a programmer to extract a stock out of the.img files

I ran ODIN3 1.85 as administrator, pointed PDA to the recovery.md5 file, connected my Tab in download mode, waited for "Connected! Press the [Start] of Odin3!" and pressed Start. I've been waiting for about 5 minutes and it appears to be doing nothing.
After a 2nd attempt Odin3 appears to have successfully installed "recovery-cwm_4.0.0.4-sam-tab-10.1.tar.md5", but when I boot into recovery I still have the stock Android system recovery :?
wow. you had me worried. you dont reboot when flashing but thanksfuly everything is ok.
Here actually. They just need to stumble upon it. The thing is you'd nee dsomeone whos familier with your stock ..
I didn't hear of it yet, 905 is 10.1? always knew 10.1 were 7500, 7510, etc ...
Which android is that? honeycomb?
I keep seeing everyone mention "P7500" and "P7510" but those model numbers appear nowhere on my device. I have a Verizon Galaxy Tab 10.1, and yes it has Honeycomb 3.1. It is exactly like the ones they'd sell at Best Buy, for example, but includes Verizon 4G.
Wow, after MUCH searching I may have found a link to the stock ROM for the Verizon 10.1!

I am trying to make a full ODIN flashable backup for my Galaxy Tab 10.1, i tried following the guide found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1082288 but all the mountpoints seem to be wrong.
Does anybody have an updated one for this tablet? I need the backups to be odin flashable.
I have also made a clockworkmod backup, is there a way to convert that to an odin flashable image?
Thanks!

Moving to General
Does anybody know?
I have got it to fully go like twice but then it asks for a bootloader password
The othertimes I got it to go, once it boots it is wiping data again, making it useless
How can i make a full clone of a Galaxy Tab 10.1, so i can use Odin to push it to 7 tabs at once, an exact clone? That is what I am trying to do and this is critical!
I'll even see if i can reward the person who helps me in some way! Thanks
Hi, i am new here. I've had a galaxy tab 10.1 since last year but i never root it because i was a bit scared about that. i decided to root it now and follow the steps of this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239185
but when i run odin and choose the recovery .md5 and hit start it doesnt complete it get stuck in recovery.img and after that i had to do a manual reset of the tab. I have done that like 3 times now and i want to know if anyone has a solution for that.

@jc
Have you the correct Samsung Drivers? Also all the steps must be followed exactly one by one without any shortcut.
You could also try rename the .tar.md5 to only .tar as I read elsewhere that this worked in some case.
Hope this helps

Try re-downloading the files
I am going to try that tonight. Thanks guys i will let you know
You can root with Stock recovery, no need to flash one
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
yeah i downloaded the drivers, and even change the extension name. but odin still freezes in recovery.img. i bought my tab last august in the usa. It's HC 3.2 with touchwiz and the serial number is R63B632003L. i don´t know if there is another samsung driver or another version of odin for that. I'd really like to root my tab. thanks
First thing you should know is what model of the tab 10.1 you have. There are several variations. Setting, about, model number.
Hello everyone,
I know that this is my first post, but in recent weeks i have been using the useful information posted by your community to succesfully root and flash my device. I have, however, reach a wall and am unable to find any other information to lead me past this wall. That leads me to this post. Maybe my experiences will help others to reach an answer that seems to have eluded all of our brains.
My device:
US Cellular Samsung Galaxy S3 16 GB Version
Android 4.1.2
1. Successfully rooted my device, gaining access to SuperUser App and root file access.
2. Installed TWRP Custom Recovery, backed up custom recovery image of stock ROM and apps (image of my phone as it was before flashing)
3. Found a ROM suitable to my device, carrier, and needs (Eclipse v5.1 Build 5)
4. Flashed ROM using correct procedure (factory wipe, flash ROM, flash GAPPS, reboot)
5. Rebooted phone while new ROM was in place (Eclipse)
6. Restored all info as it was before
7. Went to use camera, received error message "Cannot connect to camera"
8. Proceeded to see if any camera apps would solve problem (FXCamera, Instagram, etc), received same error message when trying to access camera portion of these apps
9. Explored other options (Flashed other camera apps onto my phone hoping this would solve problem)
10. Relaunched phone and received same error message when trying to open these camera applications
***********************************
1. I recovered to the stock ROM using TWRP, and attempted to access the Camera Firmware screen using code *#34971539# and this resulted in nothing happening on my phone. No change in screen, the code just sits in the stock dialer.
****Why is this?
****Why wont my phone access the camera firmware screen?
I have a feeling that i need to find a corresponding firmware in this list
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2006128
And follow the listed process in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...6#post40409206
My hope is that this results in the camera fully functioning within my custom ROM that i have chosen.
For now though, i guess any input that you have on my situation would be greatly appreciated. I feel as if i have exhausted every thread on the internet regarding this topic. Why cant i get to the firmware screen? Do you think this will fix the situation? Why wont the camera connect when im running my custom ROM?
Thanks in advance everyone, really appreciate all that you do here. Your knowledge helps many.
so why are you posting in the i9300 section?

Because the device in question is Samsung Galaxy S3? Should I be posting in a different section of the forum? Is an i9300 not the model number for a Samsung Galaxy S3?

Hello all,
First off, If I have posted this in the wrong section, I apologise.
The story is so far... I rooted my Galaxy S9+ (SuperSU), decided to unroot it back to stock firmware (i got stock firmware using SamMobile site)
Now, I have a S9+ with 128GB internal storage, yet when I check it, it shows up as 32GB. Please can you help me sort this problem out as the phone is basically not allowing me to download or update anything because it is showing as the memory is full, not allowing me to save pictures, snapchats, etc...? I assume it is due to the way I unrooted the phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
