Hello,
Does anyone know how I can get the "bounce-back" effect back?
Before when scrolling up or down it would overscroll and bounce back, but having updated to 2.3.5 it's been replaced with a blue fade.
Is there any way I can get it back? I've rooted my S2 and happy with everything else.

What ROM where you using before? Stock or Custom

Na, didn't work. Still uses the blue fade.
strange, its worked on every rom ive flashed it on so far

Hmm, the menu doesn't work either. Makes the browser crash and brings up an error.

He has a version you could try.
Also I saw another thread in the dev section where you can get the bounce effect in browser and other apps.

Is it possible to get the ice cream sandwich status bar on a different rom one that does the sliding away notification by swiping your finger. I really want it. Any stable way to get this mod would be appreciated very much.

That's not an ICS feature. I already had that on my old Gingerbread rom that I used. The one in my sig. I think it's a CM feature, but it could also be something that Adam G added. Don't know for sure.

Its a CM7 or ICS feature. Only way to get it on stock roms is to wait for ICS.
ICS launcher works with GB and IIRC it has a similar feature.

MMS does not work as of yet, has been added to the bug list.
Is it sending with GoSMS? Just curious? May try this out this afternoon.
Haven't tried GoSMS yet, been at work all day. I think it has to do with not having the APN settings set -inside- the ROM, though. Still, not sure as of yet. Will test it out in the morning, Central Standard Time, US.

Not sure. Op says New ruu so I would assume you need the new firmware. I could be wrong though

+1. I just miss wake on volume. I can deal with the visual stuff. I switched to nova launcher though. Stock ics is slow for me

The title says it. I like Samsung based Rom for it's rich icons, S Pen and S Memo and I Iike the navigation bar from cm9 and aokp based roms. Since I can't find such a rom or I have missed it, I'm using LiquidSmooth now, which is a great rom with Navigation Bar.
Hope someone can give me some information or link to making this possible. Thanks.

So far, no response. Anyway, I found a solution to get the ICS recent apps and home button using Button Savior and Task Changer Titanium, in case someone is interested. Now, I can use Samsung based rom and even add on Samsung Chinese keyboard if necessary. Now using a lite version rom based on Alba's full rom.

Give up, you won't find it.
might just be time to suck it up and upgrade. just haven't had any reason to, checkrom 2.3.6 has been running great without any issues.
any idea if 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 have the screen brightness shortcut? i was messing around with my brothers 4.0.3 sgs2 and couldn't get it to work.
When you upgrade instal jkay's framework, there's an option to have a slider in the notification draw. It's a really nice feature
