i have very Problem wiht my battery
Especially on wifi

This question has been asked 50 times before, do a search.
I'd say, Stock ROM with CF kernel is the best. Others are all overhyped.

You're right
This is something that only you can answer, you have to try them and use your phone normally and measure your batter life.
Personally I use one of the custom kernels as it has performed much much better for me and my usage when compared to the stock kernel.
Happy flashing

I just upgraded and got me the galaxy s2 over the sensation and i am loving it so far..But would like to find out what rom out there is best to use on a daily basis. So if anyone has any recommendations i would appreciate it
No best rom try them is the simple answer yet again.
If their was a best rom then their would only be one rom .
I know this answer has been given many many times but its the answer .

The best rom is the one you like the best. Now get flashing.

undervolting has a lot to do with battery life. especially ask laptop owners with core 2 duo's what undervolting does. don't spread false information because you're not impressed or it didn't meet your expectations.

ya you can change the kernal of ur choice there is no rule that you have to use the kernal that comes with the rom. you can try speedmods kernal if you want battery life is your priority or go for ninphetamine kernel if you want OC/UV.
So far I found VillainROM + SpeedMod kernel giving me the best battery life, might even be better with undervolting and Black Android theme, but since this ROM doesn't support undervolting and I love my current theme, I haven't tried them.

Try them and find out. People are always asking questions like this and they just get a bunch of people telling you what ROM they use. Trying them yourself is the only way you will ever get an answer to your question.
Most people don't bother and just end up using what the majority uses, cos that's the advice they were given. May as well buy an iPhone if that's what you're gonna do

Completely agree. You should try all the ROMs that interest you (look at the features they have and compare them), use them for a coule of days each. It could be for example that you try a ROM that you love because of its features but can't stand because of the theme, or the other way around, you love how it looks like but it's feature-poor. The only way to know these things for sure is to see for yourself.
In my case, I've only tried the Leomar75 Revolution from those 3, and I think that one would be a safe choice, but maybe you could wait a little for it because v2.7 was just released yesterday and is still having some bugs (there is a new version 2.7.1 that appears to be working good but I don't know). I personally love the ROM, (I used v2.6) and will definitively try the XXKI3 version in a couple of days (or even sooner).
Love my SG2 to bits, however, I dont seem to be able to find a rom that is battery friendly.... Any suggestions?
I am on 2.3.4, so what do others think is better to improve battery life, upgrade andriod or find a better rom.... if the latter, which do people think is the best performing one

Try them out. Threads like these are not generally allowed because everyone uses their phone differently.

Can't really go wrong with SHOstock3. It's rock solid. Great battery life.
Person a uses his phone to watch videos and Facebook constantly. Person b uses his phone to text and watch the occasional video and has all his email syncing along with exchange services. Person c uses his phone to look at pron. I mean there is no best rom or battery efficient one because, a stated above, everyone's different. Try a few and see what suits your needs.

ok let me rephrase this for you and Ill write in 3rd grade level , for anyone who uses "A Jellybean rom" how is the battery life for the rom you are using , is that clearer? Just curious which ones work you guys , I dont care since I have a Note ,this is my wifes phone !

Ok here's the thing. For battery life, a KH7-based Gingerbread rom can't be beat. If you want the features and fluidity of a Jellybean rom, however, all the big ones are pretty similar as far as battery life goes, but, and I can't stress this enough, it depends entirely on how you use the phone.
Now, I understand that this is your wife's phone, and as such, you can't flash a new rom on it every three days. However, that's what it would take for you to determine which rom will give her the best battery life. I'm sorry, but that's the way it works.

Off topic, if you don't care about it, what make you think we care? Let your wife cares hers, and if you care for her phone, we still don't care.
On topic, as someone has already given an example of its dependency, I guess you still don't get it. It isn't a joke, it's real. Now to answer directly to your questions: yes, I am using "a Jellybean rom" now. Which one? it's you to find out. Do I have good battery life with it? Yes, with massively heavily usage for 24 hours straight, it has 33% left in the tank.
you know i guess its to hard for some people just to say:
there is no one rom that gets much better battery than another rom... they are all pretty much the same on your battery
if you want the best battery go with gingerbread or ics, if you want the new smoother jelly bean your battery will suffer most
Yeah, I don't understand the heat the OP took for the question. I understood the premise and 2 folks in here answered it nicely but generally said the same as everyone else.
Probably because this same Question Is asked every week or so here and is answered the exact same way. Eventually after answering the same question a hundred times it gets annoying when he or anyone could have found this information by a simple search. Battery life is of course as it has always been: subject to individual usage patterns.
Crazy what a search function in a forum will dig up... you'll find all your answers answered. On the other hand before I switched to task650 4.2.2 I was using Sho3, which hands down had the best batt life I've ever seen on any ROM- including the task650:cyclops:
Hey guys , i am very nervous because I need very long battery and I tried almost 15 roms but none of them really helped me . So my question is which rom you consider it has the best battery life .

Now this is something I would like to know aswell, I have this phone (x829) since April, and since I've bought this phone I've immidiately installed LinageOS or any other Nougat Roms, I didn't want to give EUI a chance. Now since it's been a few months and I've gotten the feel for the phone, I've tried using some EUI roms, specifically Cuoco's ROM, and I can honestly say from my personal experiance the nouggat roms surpass the eui roms in terms of battery. When I was using RR or LOS I've gotten 4-5h SOT, with cuoco i'm lucky to get 3h. What's the reason behind this?

These "best battery life" threads are kind of pointless.....
Battery is relative..... I can think of a billion factors, tweaks, mods, uses that effect battery life.
There is no miracle ROM that will give you 10hrs of SOT, so if your not comfortable tweaking your device I suggest stock.
Try PureNexus, this have a insane battery life.. this looks 3Days on stand with WiFi/3G and some few uses at day.. on SoT, I think it lasts for 7~8h with no problems..
