Hi. I have installed android 2.3.4 on my galaxy ace (i got it from samfirmware.com). It has the "SER" csc and i can't change it (i have tried with an app and with the keycode). There is a way to change my csc to ITV (Italy)? (considering that my android version is the 2.3.4).
the KPH 2.3.4 is a single CSC version, I dont think there has been a 2.3.* with MULTI-CSC
There http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1238511 is multi csc file. It has no ITV and I haven't tried it. But it is
IT CAN BRICK YOUR PHONE IF YOU FLASH IT WRONG

Hi guys, i'm reading the forum for days but still didn't find few answers that i need.
OK, first some input data, i have a Croatian T-mobile branded phone and i have rooted it the next day i got it with Odin and S2 Root method and put original stock kernel back (to avoid yellow triangle).
(By the way, when i check *#7465625# it says that phone is not locked but i have tried the unlock aplication for finding the unlock code and application did find it but it doesn't work when i put another sim card and try to unlock it)
After two weeks i upgraded it over kies to newer version and rooted it again.
Now i have the following situation:
Android Version 2.3.3
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100BOKG2-CL255512
r[email protected]#2
Baseband: BOKG1
PDA: I9100BOKG2
PHONE: I9100BOKG1
CSC: I9100CROKF1
My question are:
1 - Can i debrand and unlock the phone with some firmware or some way but at the same time keep Croatian language in menus, swype, ... etc.
2 - If i upgrade to XXKG6 or XXKG3 firmware will i lose Croatian language ?
Overall what i want is debranded, unlocked phone with latest gingerbrad 2.3.4 but with Croatian language in menus, keyboard letters, swype... etc like i have now.
Is it possible and how ?
Thanks in advance !

You require a rom with Croatian CSC or a stock rom and separate CSC

OK, so for example i can take stock firmware XXKG6
and after just flash multi CSC containing Croatian language ?
I presume that inside the stock firmware is also KG6 modem update ?
Thx
Yes thats included .

Any idea where can i find latest multi CSC containing Croatian or just Croatian CSC ?
Or maybe is there a way to extract current one from the phone and use it ?
You need rooted phone plus an app like file explorer or super manager .
Go to system copy off CSC folder CSC files text CSC version text and SW configuration xml .
After upgrade delete the same files as above and just paste the saved files back into system .
You might find a CSC here or even multi CSC.
Stock Roms .and csc

I saved them for later if i decite to do it that way.
I have downloaded I9100XXKG6 pack from samfirmware and it containes 5 files:
CODE_I9100XXKG6_CL425236_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
GT-I9100-CSC-MULTI-OXAKG6.tar.md5
KERNEL_I9100XXKG6_CL425236_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
MODEM_I9100XXKG6_REV_02_CL1044543.tar.md5
u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit
So the first file is firmware, second is CSC languages wich doesnt have croatian (i think OXXKG6 contains croatian but i cant find it anywhere), thirdf is kernel and the fourth is modem, i have no idea what is fifth file.
So, (correct me please if i'm wrong) i was thinking to do it like this
- first - flash XXKG6 firmware, and XXKG6 modem
- second - flash unsecure version of XXKG6 kernel
- third - root the phone
- third - flash original XXKG6 kernel to avoid yellow triangle.
The main question is will my current CSC (CROKF1) work with this written above ?
Hi,
I have been struggling for a while to get my Tab back to a factory state. I flashed the KI1 stock rom but it is an Italian Rom. I then tried to flask KG7 which again was an Italian rom, so I changed the CSC using a CSC changing app from the Android Store, which successfully changed the CSC to XEU (UK).
The problem is that now when I try and connect to Kies it says that this version of the tab can't be updated (I guess this is because of the way I changed the CSC). I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction of an official UK Rom for the P7500, so that it can be updated in Kies. It is causing me a real headache!
Thanks
Surely someone can help out with this? I just need a stock UK rom that can be updated using Kies!
not sure if this helps ...but sammobile has a list of firmwares to download, you could try the version you had before you upgraded to KI1
http://www.sammobile.com/threads/328-Samsung-P7500-Galaxy-Tab-10.1-Firmwares.
I had a version of KG7 - I tried flashing that one from samfirmware, but the CSC was Italian. I changed the CSC to XEU (UK) which worked, but the tab couldn't then be updated in Kies.
im one step behind! Flashed to KI1 and wanting to change.. I shall watch this post!
I have a SII which has been imported in to New Zealand, it was 2.3.4, with a SMO CSC
Locally there has just been a 4.0.3 upgrade avaliable, I've downloaded the VNZ (Vodafone NZ) and flashed it with odin.
The upgrade to 4.0.3 went great, but the CSC has remained at SMO, so now Keis is reporting that "your device does not support software upgrading via keis"
PDA: I9100XWLP7
phone:I9100XXLPS
CSC: I9100VNZLP2
I've tried the CSC changes, and this only give me the option of the SMO CSC.
Any idea on how to fix this, I would if possible like to have VNZ as the CSC
Greg
flash ur stock rom,its obivious tht the csc will change wat u expect man...an always hav a efs backd up....
wipe using code, after that if still doesnt change flash againusing odin and wipe again using code.
will work, iv seen ics requires twice flashing for csc fix, GB worked usually with one flash and wipe code
*2767*3855#
Essentially its make your mind up time Stick with Kies and official firmware or use Odin .
This attempt to mix and match does not always work .

i have GS3 on UK three, I flashed stock XXALF2 with multi csc "BTU (UK) Also contains CSC (CPW DBT ITV KOR XEF XEO) using CF-Root 6.2 & odin
everything went fine but my CSC was still showing as (H3G) so i changed my CSC using *#272*imei# to BTU but when my phone reboots it changes it to KOR! how can i get it to stay as BTU?
in the end i had to resort to this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1124900
but id still like to know the cause of the problem if anyone knows?
My SGS2 is running gingerbread 2.3.6 CF-Rooted.
So far there have been two official samsung JB 4.1.2 firmwares released, the latest one XWLSD (Nordic Countries).
My phone has CSC Luxembourg (I bought it in my country Belgium where I also use it).
If I flash XWLSD to my phone, then I will just have to use the app "Samsung Galaxy S / S2 CSC" to change the CSC to LUX ?
Do I also need to change something else? Something like modem (I read that somewhere but I don't know what it is)?
Flash nordic, you can flash lux csc afterwards (if you get any issues, which is unlikely).
