iam a ddkq5 rooted user and i enabled crt animation, but my boot animation had gone. when i tried to enable a custom boot animation i faced a bootloop(means custom boot remained there and no letting you get into the main menu). so one user had wrote its only for deodexed and not for odex. i have a question. is there anyway to get a custom boot animation on my rooted stock firmware ? pls help someone.
What method did you use to enable the lock screen animation??

Custom boot screen is not possible on stock rom

If you are not deodexed, don't try anything funny.

I don't know where to get the stock Rogers b/a, but when you find it paste it into sys/media. Rename the other to .bak.

copy your bootanimation.zip file to /system/media/sanim.zip
where sanim.zip is the new file name.
Tried flashing the one for gingerbread and it messed my mini pro, wasnt able to boot anymore. I had to reinstall the whole rom to get it back. Im using RealICS Lite r1.1. ty

No one can help you with that little information man.. You need to give more information.
There is no way to say. You will have to pull a log and see where the error is and then start fixing errors. Building custom roms os hours and sometimes days of troubleshooting errors.
my original Firmware was LG-V300K but i've converted it to H930-US998 to gain root access and BLU and currently I'm on V300S, i've tried a couple of custom Roms here in XDA but none of them seem to work e.g stuck in boot animation, bootloop after clean install.
Question is:
is there a Custom Rom here that can be installed on a V300K Oreo 8.0?

I flash all those ROM without problem by any chance do you try my fix ? Is it help ?

I'm having the same issue with my V300K converted into V300S, any AOSP ROM gets stuck in the boot logo even after clean flash. If anyone has a fix or if there's something I missed, an information would be much appreciated.
