you need this attachment:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=713198&d=1315439776
when you extract it, you can see qsd8250_setool2.cmd and qsd8250_semc.cmd files there. Don't care about other files..
qsd8250_semc is for you only if you haven't tried any simunlocking.
qsd8250_setool2 is for you only if you have simunlocked using the setool2.
and folow next steps:

Hello,
I think you have to root your phone before trying to unlock the bootloader.

yes, first make root

Please read the stickies before posting.
Boot loader unlock no= no fast boot so you cannot flash custom kernels, but you can flash all stock ones including ics.
You can still root and install cwm, this will allow you to flash any rom for locked boot loader.

Actually no you can just read the stickies, you are going to murder your phone, you cannot downgrade to 2.3.3 you'll get the 0% battery issue.
Why people start messing with things without research I don't know.
Do your self a favor and read the stickies before you try anything else you will find the right way to root

I'm really new for rooting and I found a tutorial on how to root neo v easily and it said to root it after turning off my phone.(the blue led notification).so how to change usb mode?
To get blue LED, switch off your phone, remove any cable. Press and hold the Menu button and insert the cable while holding the Menu button.
I suppose, for Flashtool method, you need the green LED. Do the same while holding the back button.
EDIT: I am sorry, you need the blue LED only

.62 Is not root-able u might need to Downgrade to .42 or Upgrade to .562 (ICS) version if u want to root Easily,,
However .62 is Rootable but Not VIA Flashtool,,,

It depends on what firmware you will put in your mobile. One thing you can do, just go to the search at the top right. search how to root your mobile. it's very easy to search it.
Good luck!

If you are trying to update to .62 via the Sony PC Companion or OTA update using your phone, it will fail as the bootloader is unlocked and there is no update support for those with unlocked bootloader.

Hey buddy, since you've got your phone rooted, why don't you try out some awesome ROMs for your phone? They are quite simple to install and Neo V has quite a few modders . I'm not a big fan of Sony's stock ROM with all their bloatware anyway
Have fun
Since yesterday I Updated my neo to ICS with 4.1.B.0.431 frimeware and rooted with the method of DooMLoRD
But I miss some access as uninstalling sytem applications or change file permission on the system partition.
But such access existed when I was on .62 frimeware
I do not know what I have done wrong, I followed the procedure step by step
Can someone help me with this ?
You didn't root it
You didn't read properly that doomlord toolkit is showing you
Check this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678690

I've tried several methods icluding DoomLoRD. But nothing works.
Can somebody explain to me what i need to do?
Is there a way to make a complete backup of my device without having root? before I try rooting?

Flashtool can't root ics fw's.
And if doomlord's toolkit is hard for you, then don't mess with your phone at all
How can it be hard, you set 2,3options and connect phone to pc, toolkit does all the job..

For start chill your horses.
I have eyes and I can read, so no need to copy/paste what has been written in this thread.
Second, I know why doomlord's root toolkit failed for OP. doomlords toolkit CAN root .562(also known as 4..0.3) but CAN'T root .431(4.0.4) fw, which is what flashing .562 kernel is needed in order to root.
I know the procedure, I wrote the tutorial(which I linked in post#4), after which guys from talk.sonymobile wrote it on their forum, just FYI.

If you are on 4.0.3, doomlord CAN root your phone, if it can't, you are doing something wrong, in which case, we need to see log of that root process.
Flashtool is only used to flash 4.0.3 kernel, but that's for people on 4.0.4.

He failed with doomlord root toolkit because he had 4.0.4! He needed to flash kernel from 4.0.3, then use toolkit then flash back kernel from 4.0.4

if doomlord's root toolkit FOR ICS, failed for you, provide log of that process.
Now I tell you another thing, which you would know if you read all post in this thread, specially link I gave above, you have unlocked your bootloader, ffs, you can root without any mess with root toolkits, simply flash/hotboot kernel with CWM and flash superuser zip. And enjoy your phone.
Tutorial on talk.sonymobile doesn't have part for unlocked bootloaders, that's why I linked my tutorial which have both parts.
He failed with doomlord root toolkit because he had 4.0.4! He needed to flash kernel from 4.0.3, then use toolkit then flash back kernel from 4.0.4
if doomlord's root toolkit FOR ICS, failed for you, provide log of that process.
U are rite 4.0.3 is workable in doomslord but only on this doomslord toolkit for xperia "DooMLoRD_v1_Xperia-2011-ICS-ROOT-emu-busybox-su"
it has pushed the SU properly nd installed it ! later i have downloaded CWM 5, so i 1st took Astro File Manager from the Market, for exploring the SD then installed the CWM 5, so when i did the SU asked to get the permission nd then all the options in CWM are ticked well and Su got CWM in its list, so all good and rooted, now please refer me the app that can solve the brightness issue in Neo V :good:
Thanx & Regards
now that i have rooted & all ! how will i go to fw .431 means 4.0.4 ? and if i flash 4.04 will my phone still be rooted ?
If u know a process of how to root in 4.0.4 nd can install su in it plz tell ! nd plz clarify me that CWM is necessary to have it 1st installed on the device or SU ?
Lets suppose ill clear the picture ... if i want to flash 4.0.4 with Kernal .431 my phone is open to root, but as u know the doomlords kit failed ! is there any otherway to push SU as a zip like ur mentioning that flash it with hotboot wats that how the process is going to be ?
Plz help !

If you mean by the term of "You can't have root in Android 4.0.4",you're wrong
If you mean by the term of "You can't direct root in Android 4.0.4",you're right
To gain root access in Android 4.0.4,you need to install a Gingerbread firmware (.58 and older or .62 [if you are now with root access]) with a root access, and then follow up the thread (should be stickied in this General discussion),I'll edit this post when I found the thread
EDIT : Found the thread xD here it is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568792
if you have Gingerbread,read 2a
if you have ICS ICS 4.1.A.0.562,read 2b
if you have ICS 4.1.B.0.431,read 2c (op have made a mistake,he typed 0.531 instead of 0.431 xD)
