Hey guys, I was using the group chat feature with a few friends and I realized that my friends that have the S3 where getting chats as group chats, but everyone else that didn't have an S3 was getting it separately. Is there a possibility that someone can extract the messaging app so other phones can install it and use that to get group messages?
Thank You Very Much!
I recently saw that Samsung S3 has chat / talk integrated within the contacts.
I have 2.3.4 running on the Echo. Just wondering if there is something similar for Gingerbread. I do not intend to do video chat. I would prefer native Google app, rather than a third party tool..
Any help is appreciated.
Hello fellow android lovers,
I have been searching for a way to group my contacts and be able to use them in multiple apps.
For example, I would like to be able to text, mail, messenger app (facebook) buddies in groups just in a few taps.
I have a galax s5 and mailen, texting groups is possible when making group in contacts app. I would also like to use the same groups in messenger (facebook), viber...
Does anyone know an app wo can join all these platforms. I realize that this is probably not possible with an app, maybe a custom rom?
Let me know what u guys use :highfive:

Hello everyone, I am trying to activate the chat function in Samsung message but the option does not appear while on my s10 no problem. I have tried all the techniques available on YouTube, none of them work. Google message does not interest me because it is too poor in function. thank you in advance
From Android headlines " Samsung confirmed during Unpacked that RCS features will be supported with Google Messages on the Galaxy S21. " Until carriers get on board with rcs directly, this function is being provided by Google directly.

Android message No options, frankly I do not like it at all. I still prefer Samsung Message and not used Google message.
There are videos that show how to enable this on YouTube.

I'm in same boat as the OP. I'd like to use samsung messages with RCS, but Google dialer doesn't let you access the IMS settings on the S21 (I'm on Snapdragon unlocked). Activity launcher also won't install due to them letting their android license expire. If you have any instructions that let you tweak IMS settings by some other method, I'd love to hear it!
Recently people have shown Samsung Messages having Vibe pop up for RCS with screenshots.
Samsung Messages starts adding support for Google RCS Chat
This means it will work regardless of how your carrier feels about RCS

Just use Google Messages.

found this and it seems to work I just tried it.
Confirmed it works. Tried and tested. The only thing I don't see is typing indicator.
